   I am a loyal customer of Corkbuzz, having visited at least 20 times over the past few years. This time, upon arrival for my 7:30 reservation, I was advised that my requested high table was not ready and was forced to stand waiting for over 15 minutes, as there were no other options. This is not the purpose of a reservation. The hostess simply disappeared and stood with the bartender, and was nowhere to be found even when new customers came in. A second hostess eventually sat us at a common table, which I mentioned that I did not request, and which was far too noisy. When a high table opened up, she did not offer to move us, and there was absolutely no effort made to make up for the problem, such as by offering a complimentary glass of wine or food plate. It was thoroughly sickening to be treated this way after years of patronage, and I will absolutely not return and dissuade anyone I know from returning (previously, I would highly recommend Corkbuzz to friends).

   Luckily they sat me but I was very disappointed to hear when I walked in that they had no record of my reservation because they are no longer on open table, even though I had made the reservation that same afternoon.

   I read mixed reviews about this place but it seemed like a cute place to try for a Valentine's Day date- I was wrong. Neither my boyfriend nor I EVER get our feathers ruffled by a little wait, but we were completely ignored and talked down to the entire ordering process from wine to apps to mains. Our waitress was the most condescending person I have ever experienced and in between our ordering, we were paid zero attention. We literally sat there while no one came to take our order in between every single course. We had finished half a bottle of wine and our apps before she even came over to take our dinner order! Once we were finished we sat for about 30 minutes before she came to ask if we wanted the check. It was truly a ridiculous experience and that waitress should be fired. With that being said, the food was good but portions were very small. I am never going back and suggest you spend your money elsewhere.

   We had an over-eager server. Shortly after I arrived, when he overheard me announce to my friend that I was pregnant, he muttered something along the lines of, "and tonight I'll be your doula." ?! I thought I'd heard him wrong, but when I asked, "I'm sorry, what did you say?", he said, "Oh nothing," smiled, and asked if my friend wanted another glass of wine. VERY weird and uncomfortable. The bar snacks were good, though the portions were small: fritto misto (small portion for $15), blistered shishito peppers, baba ganoush (was only ok; lacked flavor), and gougères (four tiny ones).

   Once again, a great night at Corkbuzz. They have the best homemade ricotta EVER.

   It was a fun roomy space with great options. Dessert was the miss or I would have given 5 stars. Service was fantastic.

   I have been to Corkbuzz several times and each time I had a great experience. The staff's wine knowledge is extensive and the service was fast and attentive. Great wine selection and I absolutely love their appetizers. Great ambience too!

   As one would expect the wine list is terrific and fairly priced. the staff is knowledgable and friendly.... The Food is EXCELLENT and equal to the wine.
