   Great place for a glass of wine and an appetizer, or just to shop the bottles downstairs, but I wouldn't recommend for dinner. The server was not very familiar with the menu and the portions of even the "plates" were more like appetizers. The QR code menu showed a seasonal flatbread that was conveniently vegetarian for my veggie friend. What came had salami on it and although the server kindly comp'd it and got her something else, she said people often miss where it says it contained meat, although it said that no where. Favorite thing we ate was the fried calamari and rock shrimp, they were so crispy and not overbattered and came with a great remoulade. The plate we were most dissapointed by was the veitners plate (cheese and charcuterie board), the portion was extremely small, like almost for 1, although they encourage sharing. Additionally, our server couldn't tell us what the two cheeses were.

   LOVED the fried chicken, it is a must have. Kyle was so helpful with the wine selections. It was a team effort there, everyone is so welcoming. Sammy (sp?), she was delightful. So nice to see one of the 14th street restaurant pioneers thriving!

   Ambiance and wine are great. The food is flavorful but I ordered the $26 Hanger Steak and received two small slivers of meat... so they have some work to do on value for money.

   Highly recommend an evening at Cork! Wonderful food, fantastic wine selection and terrific service. Absolutely make a reservation for a wine tasting as well. Kyle walked us through the tasting and you will walk away with a new appreciation of the wine. They do it all very well and if you find a wine or two or more you like after the tasting you can find it in the wonderful selection downstairs. We look forward to our next evening at Cork!

   We dined on Valentines night. Out server was delightful - very engaging. Our food however was not so good. Both the fried chicken and calamari/shrimp entrees were VERY salty. Also, for the charcuterie platter, we would have preferred the option to choose our own selections, not chef’s choice.

    The Wine tasting experience was fantastic, really accentuated by our sommelier Kyle. This was the second time I have been to Cork for a wine tasting and this time was wayyyy better thanks to the knowledge, hospitality, and overall personable character that Kyle has. We’ll be back!

    I’ve been here several times and always enjoyed a reliably good meal and experience. This time the staff was absolutely terrible bordering on incompetent. Our server didn’t know the basics of wine, even though this is a WINE BAR. She repeatedly forgot what we ordered and had to come back a second time to verify. The cocktails were poorly mixed and the food was subpar. I won’t be returning- too bad - it was a good run.

    Food was great, service was poor. I saw reviews showing this so knew ahead of time to expect this. Cheese board had no idea what cheese I was eating, ordered food with waitress and she didn’t write down so had to come back and ask again. The avocado toast is amazing, one of the best burrata salads, I would go back… just don’t expect much from the staff.

    Stop running out of everything. We tried four times to get something to eat, each time the server came back and told us that they were out of it. She even complained it was becoming a hassle telling the customers that they didn’t have half of the menu. This place is convenient, it’s amateurish, but it is convenient. When they have the menu.     We arrived at 6:25 and ordered right away as we had an 8 o’clock performance to make. Service was completely in disarray. Each main course for 4came separately but one never arrived until 7:40 despite repeated reminders. I had two bites and had to pack up the meal so as not to be late for play. One appetizer didn’t arrive till the 3 person was fed. The waiter was embarrassed, providing extra splashes of wine and dessert for 2 of us who got to eat in a timely fashion. He seemed flummoxed by the kitchens lack of organization. At least we were not charged for my meal . I don’t blame the waiter but the poorly managed kitchen. Probably will not be back which is too bad as the food is good.

    I presume outside was crowded however there were few to no patrons seated inside. Four staff members all talking at the end of the bar were less than attentive. Historically I have liked Cork though this visit was very off putting.

    The wine tasting was not memorable in any sense; felt very haphazard. The sizes of the cheese boards were incredibly small - especially given the price. Would not recommend. The restaurant and the market downstairs had a really nice atmosphere however.

    Waiter left us waiting for over an hour between ordering first drink/appetizers and another employee coming to ask if we were waiting on anything. Was served obviously spoiled wine and alerted the waiter, who responded maybe it just tastes like that. Appetizer never came. Other employee ultimately took our food order and our waiter, who appeared inebriated, never returned to our table. Every time food came out of the kitchen, waiters walked around to each table asking if the food belonged to them. Recommend sticking to the bar for wine, but would not consider again for dinner.

    First off, the restaurant week menu they advertise on their website is not what’s provided to you in the restaurant. There’s much less variety and many less options, which was extremely annoying because we picked cork due to the online menu. The ol bait and switch. Also the food that was served was subpar. Their dessert was literally chocolate chip cookies from Trader Joe’s, and I’ve never had less creamy burrata. Secondly, for a Friday night they were extremely understaffed. We got a round of drinks at the bar before our dinner, we’re charged for a glass that they bartender offered to us as free, and then the bartender disappeared for 20 minutes, and once he was back he gave us someone else’s bill. Because of all this, we didn’t get to sit down to our reservation until 45 minutes after our scheduled time. Once we were seated upstairs, there was one server working the entire dining room. We had to flag him down anytime we wanted to order/needed something, never once did he come by just to check how the meal was. The only thing cork is good for is their actual market with well priced wines and cheese. Will not be returning for a meal in the future.

    Everything was absolutely perfect except there was only one waiter for the whole upstairs. He was great but much too busy so things took too long. Still love the place. Just need more than one waiter for 12 tables.

    The waiter was off. He forgot two of my orders (1. malbec, 2. biscuits). He didn't deliver my food in the timing ordered (entree came out before appetizer). Another server came over and tried to provide me my biscuits after I started eating my entree. The owner then came over 20 minutes later with the biscuits after I finished my entree. I love cork, but this was a bad night. I'll be back, but they need to reprimand their employee (not let go), but tell him to act professionally.

    Service was truly terrible. We sat upstairs, and the waiter was not at all attentive. He had two tables, sometimes three, to which to attend, and he couldn’t even do that. He was also very rude and impersonal. Will not be back.

    The vibes are right at Cork - but it didn’t go past that! It was absurdly hot upstairs, the AC was not on in the middle of summer. Many guests were visibly sweating, not a cute look. It took a long time to finally get menus and then part of our meal (charcuterie and cheese) took substantially longer, all in the heat and with a server who wasn’t particularly attentive or helpful and actually forgot to ring in part of our order. The board, once it came, was not even worth the wait. Oh, they were also out of olives.

    We have eaten at Cork many times through the years and always enjoyed it. The food and wine are great and there is great variety. Unfortunately, last night was an exception. While the food and wine were great as usual, the air conditioning was not working. By the time I finished dinner, I felt physically ill. Before we were seated, we should have been informed of the problem been given the opportunity to go elsewhere.
