Cork Fire Kitchen
Cork Fire Kitchen is a warm, rustic retreat with sweeping golf course views. They offer a unique menu with something for just about every palate. Prices aren't particularly high but not low either, definitely moderately priced for what you get. Service was superb, absolutely no issues with timing and no errors whatsoever. Enthusiastically recommend!
The food and ambiance were wonderful! I loved the view in the main dining room and the warmth of the bar area. My service was a bit lacking. They were a bit stingy with the coffee. I will definitely go back.
Very romantic. Booth with pillows so comfortable. And was able to sit next to date. CalAmari outstanding. Bread as well. But sea bass was average as was the fish and chips.
Our server was exceptional. Whole staff was accommodating. Views spectacular. Hopefully it was just a bad nite in kitchen.
See you again soon.
Food is always excellent! Love the brunch menu as well as dinner! The blueberry butter is to die for!
The service and food was awful. The waitress made us wait a long time before she came by to offer us more drinks. A huge waste of time and money, the hostess was rude as well, they never greeting us with a hello or friendly face.
It was suppose to be buffet and we were told once we arrived since our reservation was at 5 we didnt get buffet....no time limit on buffet was on internet or told to me at time of reservation. My steak couldnt cut with a knife it was brick hard on outside and extremely bloody on inside which was running into my potatoes. The lobster was so so SALTY I gagged. It was left over from buffet and it was BAD. I was so embarrassed that I chose this restaurant but my daughter was going to get married there in 2020 so we wanted to taste the food. There will be no wedding there for us.
The Mother's Day brunch had some nice selections and the quality of the food was great. However, I was quite surprised by the price per person - $65.00. I think it should have been more in the $40.00 range. It was a pleasant experience except for knowing it was costing $65.00.
Lovely location, good food, great Bloody Mary. The consensus among our group is that Cork Fire Kitchen will now become our annual Mother’s Day venue.
The ambiance, food and waitstaff service was very good. A bit overpriced for the area. I called to move our reservation to a later time so I would not miss our Open Table reservation and the staff reported that we missed out time even though we called to adjust it and did make it to dine.
Sat outside with our party of nine. Food very good but came out after a lengthy wait with one entrée very late. Service was good but could have been a bit more on point. One of my guests paid check. Service charge was already added but not flagged as such. She added a gratuity as if not already paid. She caught it after driving away and returned. I think it would be more appropriate to flag to its guests but... they did adjust when she returned back to restaurant. I WOULD still return to this lovely restaurant and may one day.
We like this place. This was our third visit and we will go back. However, this visit got off to an odd start. When making the reservation for four, I specifically asked for an inside table, not on the outside patio. I also made a special request that we be seated at a table with regular chairs, not a booth. My friend and I have serious back problems and must sit upright in a chair with our feet on the floor. (Pretty much as you do at your home.)
Upon arriving, I asked the young lady at the desk if my requests were recorded. She said "Yes." So far, so good. Then a tall gentleman, with menus in hand, said he had a table for us outside and asked if that would be okay. I said "No." He acted surprised at my answer. He then said he could seat us inside at a booth. I said that would not work. Now he looked annoyed and said that was all that was available.
I asked him to take me into the dining room to see for myself. The place was 25% occupied. I said I reserved a table with regular chairs and asked: "What's the problem?" He asked me to return to the lobby and wait a moment while they found something to accommodate my request. Shortly, our party was taken to exactly what we had asked for, at a prime location with a wonderful view.
I don't understand why this wasn't done in the first place. Why was a customer put in the awkward position of being the demanding bad guy? This whole thing was handled poorly. Fortunately, our server was delightful and the food was excellent.
The food is outstanding! We ordered the scallop dish and pork chop and I would highly recommend both of them. The crudo was amazing as well. The view of the golf course makes for a great date night.
Overall, I am looking to return as soon as possible.
Excellent breakfast starting with hot out of the oven biscuits. Try the crab Benedict and the coddled eggs. Both are excellent and served with the most delicious tiny potatoes.
The wait staff was EXCELLENT. Food was good...could have been hotter. Value, a little expensive. As this was the first time we had been there, we believe signage could have been better. Even when we arrived, we didn't know which door to go in to. Others who arrived at the same had the same problem. Last comment...the entry and reception desk were rather awkward, small and dark. Once in the dining room, however, it was a beautiful and light environment.
Food was great retry good but out of several things so 2 orders were affected.
We had not been back to this restaurant in quite a while. The ambiance was quite nice as we remembered, but our server and one of our entrees were disappointing. We were promptly greeted, but before we were completley in our seat the server gave us her recommendation as to what to order. Later, when I asked if I could substitute a side she abruptly said "no" and that I would need to order what I wanted as an extra side. It was more the manner in which it was said. For a restaurant of this level, (most entrees were around the 30.00 range) I would have expected a more accommodating attitude. Two of the three entrees were delicious but one dish which was considered an entree, consisted (no exaggeration) of one zucchini over a few leeks for $18.00. We should have had our guest send it back. He kept waiting for the rest. We would go back but would request a different server and never order the vegan dish.
This is my third time there. I love the atmosphere and views. The menu has a good variety and the food is
delicious. The staff are friendly and courteous. Will be going again!
Family get together
Saturday night was the first time being at Cork Fire Kitchen. I took my son to have a pre-Easter dinner since I was not going to be with him on Easter. It was a great place and had a great experience. The patio section is an awesome place to sit, eat and relax with the golf course in the background, giving you a beautiful landscape to look at. Everyone was friendly, and professional. I will be back again to bring my boyfriend.
Beet salad was the best part but all was very nice.
Was really looking forward to dinner, was very disappointed. Hostess was unfriendly, service was painfully slow, food was warm at best and very normal for what it cost. I would not eat there again.
Jake was an awesome server. Very pleasant and attentive. Beautiful view. Avocado toast was delicious.
The experience for my grandson’s 16th birthday was wonderful. My only complaint is that I have a true gluten allergy. My salmon sandwich was the size of a finger sandwich. I had to substitute a tiny fruit cup because of flour on the fries. It was definitely not worth the price I paid. They didn’t make any real effort to accommodate my needs. Other than that everything else is great unless you have dietary restrictions. Then I suggest finding a different restaurant.
Great view. Really enjoyed the view of the green. Fun to people watch the golfers. Will keep coming back.
This restaurant is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy a good meal with family and or friends. We were greeted warmly and our seating request was honored. Employees made us feel welcomed, which doesn’t always happen at other restaurants. The food was good noir only complaint was the small portion / number of deviled eggs for price. Everything else was good. We will return
For a Farm to Table restaurant. It was lacking greatly. I ordered the Angus beef hash and was very disappointed. It came with a cream sauce, yes, a cream sauce. Who ever heard of this. My friend ordered an egg omelet and it was served with Tater Tots, yes, Tater Tots. this from an alleged Farm to Table restaurant. I was slightly embarrassed suggesting this restaurant to my friend. Will never make that mistake again.
Perfectly cooked salmon, very flavorful root vegetables, excellent service, beautiful view!
Sat outside with view of beautiful golf course. It was taco Tuesday and the food was excellent! Will be back! Thank you!
Wonderful experience on every level! The food and service were exceptional and we will definitely return!
Great food, excellent service, cozy yet cool atmosphere.
Empanadas were great, we enjoyed all of the food and Service. This is what we expect out of Cork Fire, so I can't say it was a WoW experience but the experience we received is the reason we come back and recommend Cork Fire Kitchen to friends and Family
Very pretty setting overlooking the golf course. Bistro steak was well prepared beef tenderloin which is better cut than normally expected. Nice ambiance as sun is setting.
Well..... Everything was wonderful until our guests entree arrived: 3 scallops for $36.00 shocker! This was a main course. When ordering, waitress was told the couple would share the scallops & a salad. IF the waitress would have said: this dish may be too small to share, then we would have been warned, however......very embarrassing for us . Everything else was great!
Food was amazing from beginning to end! Everything had so much flavor and my steak was cooked to perfection!
Staff was professional, attentive and kind. Food was delicious. The view in the dining room is spectacular. We will definitely return.
Great restaurant to enjoy meal with your furry babies
From the views of the golf course to the ambiance of the restraunt to the food itself, Cork Fire Kitchen is a must stop when in Temecula.
Nothing worse than women with screaming laughs! They were at the next table. Without them there the experience would have been exceptional. Too bad. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and creative. Paid a lot of money for the experience. Unfortunate the staff has no method of controlling obnoxious people.
Service was amazing and the food did not disappoint.
After reading many good reviews we decided to go. Hopefully this was just a bad night. There was a large 20 plus party seated among the 2 and 4 tops and the kitchen could not keep up and. The noise level was horrid and food was tardy
