We had an excellent brunch yesterday! The salmon Benedict was delicious and our server Chance was excellent! We look forward to next time! -The Johnsons
Excellent dinner and nice and cozy outside under the heaters. Our dog enjoined himself too!
Anniversary. Treated like royalty. Food was amazing. Highly recommend!
The experience was very enjoyable. Made our anniversary special.
Excellent food and service!
Birthday. Nice window seat, but totally dark out; wish the golf course had some lighting which would have made the ambiance a 100% better. Especially because the dinning room was mostly empty, which seemed cold.
Amazing service as always. I was disappointed that the zuchinni flower sope has been removed from the menu but the carnitas hash was a very tasty option for me.
It was my birthday and the all decided to go to Cork Fire Kitchen for brunch. There were eight of us, six adults and two children. Our server was great, very friendly and attentive. He answered any questions that we had regarding the menu and kept my champagne glass full!
The food was good not exceptional but it was good. The prices were a little high for what you got but that’s what happens when you go to upscale golf course dining establishment. I had a grilled cheese crab sandwich with a side salad. It’s not something I normally eat but it was my birthday so I thought I’d splurge. But like I said, a grilled cheese sandwich for almost $25 seems a little ridiculous, even with crab. There was only a couple of negative things about our experience there. One was that there was a group of people that were across from us and they were very loud. That’s not the restaurants fault it’s just rude people. The table was quite big and it was hard to carry on conversation since we were so spread out. I’d rather have that though them to be squished into a small spot and you can’t even move. It was a beautiful California afternoon and with those small negative points it didn’t ruin our day.
Stayed with a girlfriend, celebrating our birthdays. Had a 7:30 pm reservation, but arrived early, so they asked us to wait, which was fine - but they didn't even offer menus, waters or drinks. We waited for a while on the couches by the fireplace which is directly next to the bar and no one ever came. I had to go up to the bartender who had to go to the hostess stand - which was right behind us - to get menus. The two hostesses were standing there chit-chatting the whole time since we walked in. I am a manager and understand how important it is to be proactive in servicing people. We finally got seated and waited a very long time for the waitress and the chance to order a drink. Then it took forever to order - had to flag down another waitress. We then waited so long for our dinner that my girlfriend was going to go find the manager. The food was actually very good. They brought us a birthday brownie bite (which was a very nice gesture), but the brownie was like a rock and we couldn't even cut it :( Overall it was a very disappointing experience. I will be coming to the property for my husband's birthday, but will definitely not eat at Cork Fire. We also canceled our brunch reservation for the next day and went to TOAST.
Great food and friendly service. A nice venue to eat and chat with old friends.
Really great food and a relaxing, nice patio with view!
The food was really good! The service, no so good. It took a very long time to get our food and we had to ask for water refills two or three times. It was my husband's birthday and I was so disappointed in the service. This was our first time to dine with you. We only had 4 in our party.
With the exception of a couple of items on your website that were not available at the restaurant, everything was outstanding. Please update website so there is no letdown...had my mind set on scallops.
The place was beautiful and charming. At 1:15 they did not have our table ready we have to wait 10 minutes for someone to clean the table off. My food was a bit overcooked and I had a salad the salad was perfect. Our waitress was friendly but she was also running the bar mixing cocktail drinks so our table drinks we had to ask for a refill because she was nowhere to be found for about 20 minutes. Overall this was our first visit and I’m willing to give it one more try after that I’ll make it My final decision on the restaurant.
The waiter was a pleasure to talk to and gave a terrific explanation of not only the ingredients, but the process of preparing our meals. It was outstanding. We enjoyed our evening immensely.
The staff makes the experience so wonderful. Really kind, happy people with good food recommendations. It’s a lovely restaurant and the food and drink are served with care and attention to detail.
We usually love love love love love the cork fire grill. However I simply think they need a new mission statement and better management. The ambience and atmosphere is great! But food especially eggs should not be cold. Course we politely asked for a replacement. However we don’t really like to be put in the position of being “those people”.
The food was great, but we had the worst server EVER. She didn’t refill our water once in 3 hours, didn’t bring out several things ordered at all or apologize, and charged us for a 75 dollar bottle of wine we didn’t order. They added 18 percent gratuity to the bill so she didn’t care we were completely upset. She left us sitting there for hours without checking on us. The manager was hesitant to help as well. He finally removed gratuity so we could adjust the percentage and reduced the wine charge by half. No apologies whatsoever. It was for a bachelorette celebration and we spent a great deal of money. I will NEVER return and don’t recommend the restaurant. Food is great, but service was terrible.
The service was excellent and great arrangement on seatings!
Beautiful ambiance. Night date night or night out with friends!
Delicious Saturday brunch with fun, accommodating server. I drove down from Palm Springs to meet up with friends from San Diego - this is a good "half-way" point that may become our regular spot.
We came here to celebrate a birthday, we felt like our server wanted us to leave even though it was 30 minutes before the kitchen closed. Cheese plate was unimpressive. Halibut was cooked perfectly. Restaurant was beautiful. Worst part was the server.
The food is outstanding! Great view from the Patio.
Always please w our food and excited to see what is new on the menu
Very nice ambiance and staff are accommodating and nice. The food was really tasty and would definitely come back here again.
Beautiful setting and friendly staff. Main qualm is that this restaurant is very inflexible to menu substitutions. All we wanted was to substitute some vegetables for fries but that was apparently a big deal. Were charged $8 each for about four or five each of tiny asparagus spears on our plate. I will say that the food was tasty. My suggestion to the management is be more flexible for side dish substations and add some range to your menu as far as price. You go from the high teens to $30s and up. Nothing in between.
Four carloads of family descended for a late brunch on the patio. The service was terrific, and the staff let us linger as long as we liked to visit. Delicious and Reasonably priced with just the right touches—and a beautiful setting looking over the golf course.
The best thing they had was their homemade biscuits. When they change their menu they took away the biscuits. Many people came from miles around just to have the biscuits I would hope that they rethink their new menu and return the biscuits for everyone to enjoy
My friend didn’t like her cut of steak but my food was very good.
Went for brunch on a Saturday with a group of 10. Food was delicious, service was great, the patio has a great view. Would absolutely go back.
Food was incredible, service was great. We sat out on the deck with a beautiful view. Will definitely return again soon.
Went for brunch with mom and daughter. Prompt and friendly welcome:) Window seating with lovely view. Belgium waffles were delicious! best we’ve had! Fish taco was good...a little on the salty side. Flourless cake was deeelicious for dessert. will definitely be back!
Waiter got my drink order wrong and was argumentative about it even though he repeated my order before he went to get it. No surprise that I ordered a salad rather than fries and when it came, of course it had fries and no salad. Service was slow. People came in after us and had drinks long before ours came.
Family breakfast after wedding last night. Food was amazing and the view was beautiful
We’ve never been to cork fire prior to this visit! We enjoyed the ambiance on the patio, the food was delicious. A little pricier for wines etc but for a nice dinner it was worth it.
Overall, great evening & great food! Enjoyed the outside lounge area downstairs, as well!
The waiter was the best, first and foremost, then everything after that was wonderful. Great food, great ambiance, just overall wonderful place for my birthday breakfast.
wonderful experience from start to finish. excellent local wines. very unique local ingredients farm to table approach. great service
Nick was fantastic! Food came quickly and was good quality.
This was my second visit to Cork Fire Kitchen. My first was a couple of years ago for my birthday. As with that first visit, I went for brunch again. The 3 friends I was with had also been there before at my birthday brunch. The first thing we noticed about our recent visit was that they did away with the sweet breads that they put on the table when you first sit down. We were all disappointed as we really enjoyed them the last time.
The food this time was still good but I think the portions were smaller. I ordered the Florentine Benedict which came with a small side of potatoes. The food was tasty as it was before, but I noticed I was still hungry after my meal. : (
