Cork & Table
It was an overall great experience. It was our first time but definitely not our last
Excellent food and great service! Would go again.
I enjoyed my meal at Cork and Table very much. The crab and corn chowder, the Asian stew with garlic, (along with the wine pairings), and the sticky toffee pudding were all delicious. We were the first diners to arrive so service was attentive and very good. On the downside the restaurant is small and the tables are pretty small. I understand, however, the restaurant will be moving to, I assume, a new location later this year. I highly recommend the Cork & Table.
As usual, the meal my wife and I enjoyed at Cork and Table was Excellent. We each chose the four course dinner, wife with wine pairing. All courses were delicious, fresh and perfectly prepared. Our steaks were delectable and each cooked as ordered. Service was timely. Staff was professional, courteous and respectful. Definitely worth a try if you've never been.
Service was friendly and helpful. Nice menu and servers were well versed on it! Quiet, but not stuffy. Everyone seemed happy, including us. They offered a red or white wine flight, which allowed us to try three different wines without having more wine than we wanted in total. Overall, a very nice dining experience. We will go back!
Yet another wonderful meal! Highly recommend.
The food was well prepared and very tasty, and the wine pairings complimented very well. The service was a little spotty, but every table was filled so that was somewhat understandable. It would have been an outstanding meal EXCEPT for the occasional overwhelming smoke from the kitchen. Really off-putting and irritating, and so thick we had to launder our jackets when we got home. Hopefully they will fix or improve the ventilation and we can dine there again.
Great food, as always, paired with the perfect wines. The chef is always super friendly and accommodating. I wish this restaurant had a bigger space. There is nowhere to wait for your table at this time of year but by the restrooms or near the kitchen.
It was a great meal in a wonderful atmosphere. The service was great. The owner was fantastic. The wines were good. The whole experience made for a very nice Valentines Day.
Annual event to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Always a special time
Please check this place out. Sticky Toffee seals the deal.
My friends and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. The food was very good. The wine was very good. However, upon entering the restaurant, it was filled with smoke from the meat being cooked in the kitchen. It was almost unbearable. Our eyes were hurting so badly. I’m not sure if there was a vent broken or if this is the norm. I’m hoping it was just broken. Also, it took an hour and a half for our main courses to come out. We probably won’t be going back.
This is the second time here and they provide a consistent prix fixe menu that is of very good value. On a whole, their service is quite good with a small number of staff. We did notice some delays in getting our three courses served, but the restaurant was full so that may be a factor. The entree selection was very tasty for seafood and land lovers, albeit few options (what to expect with a prix fixe menu).
Where they really shine, IMO is their sauces. They are very flavorful and take an average to above average protein and elevate the dish.
One warning, the restaurant gets smokey - they should invest in better air ventilation from the kitchen. Also, do not expect to have a quiet conversation on a date night - this place is energetic and loud.
Very nice restaurant. We picked it from Yelp reviews, not knowing much about restaurants in Fredericksburg. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very nice!
Food is exceptional. The wine pairings are expert. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend it.
We ordered the 4 course dinner with wine pairing. The wines were wonderful beautifully complimenting the food. Corn crab soup, smoked salmon, wagyu beef tenderloin and pot de creme were all excellent. I rolled out of there quite satisfied with the promise to return soon. I highly recommend.
Great service and long dinner with excellent wine pairings.
We had heard many good things about Cork & Table, and it lived up to our expectations. We will definitely be returning. The food and service were outstanding!
Everything was great. The corn crab soup was particularly good. It was restaurant week so the value was exceptional. Very friendly service. We will visit again.
We had an excellent time at the Cork and Table. Attentive, polite, and knowledgeable staff. Quick service... and outstanding food. My wife had the scallops and I had steak... both were excellent. We also had the recommended wines to go along with our meals... Nice! We are looking forward to our next visit.
It was wonderful, and we while it is somewhat of a hike for dinner, it is well worth it!
I made a reservation for Jan 26, Sunday for my wifes birthday, or was confirmed by email. Before leaving I went to get the address and noticed the restaurant was closed. I called multiple times and no one answered so I was not able to take my wife to her planned birthday dinner.
This place is truly a gem for all foodies. We visited during restaurant week and found the 3 course meal to be absolutely fantastic. Three of us had the filet medallions, and while the temperature could have been a bit hotter, the fantastic flavors were in no way diminished. The wine pairings were fun and a great complement to the courses. We especially appreciated the "on the house" desert wine we were offered as compensation for the cooler temp meals. It was the perfect complement to the spectacular cheesecake with a caramel sauce that had just the perfect hint of well-toasted marshmallow. We enjoyed the visit so much, in fact, that we will return to enjoy their community table event. I can't wait!
Great find! I highly recommend it! Food and service where both top notch, and I will definitely come back again.
This restaurant never disappoints. Food is always fantastic
Tried during restaurant week and will definately be back outside of restaurant week again for special occasions.
Food Delicious , portions just right. Professional, friendly staff. Noise level manageable.
The wife and I had wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, so we took advantage of the Fredericksburg Winter Restaurant Week. Despite being full, the service was really good, sufficiently attentive and dining experience worthy. We ordered off the special menu which was a 3 course meal with 2 options for each course, and optional wine pairing available. Well, we were really happy with the entire experience. The meal was exceptional and service equally noteworthy. Venue is a little small, but it is our understanding that may change in the future. Give it a try, hopefully you’ll be as happy as we were.
Looking forward to your new place when you can work it out but will continue going there as long as you are there. Our favorite place in Fredericksburg. The food is outstanding!
My only complaint was I would have liked more of the spaghetti squash. My friend and I both did the butternut squash soup, scallops dinner and Bavarian chocolate mouse. Everything was excellent and so good.
We came on a double date night during restaurant week and it was amazing! We love it here! Everything was delicious.
Friendly, professional service. Deliciously paired courses.
We ate at Cork and Table at the pre-Restaurant Week dinner and to celebrate my husband's birthday. The spot was spot on - delicious as usually. We've never had a bad meal here. I had the scallops, which were perfectly cooked. My husband had the Wagyu beef which was cooked just right and had a great taste. The crab soup was loaded with crabmeat, and the desserts were both excellent. We would recommend Cork and Table to anyone, and not just during Restaurant Week.
Loved our date night at Cork & Table. Food and wine is always delicious. New and delicious food choices. Romantic and cozy ambiance. Highly recommend
Everything was amazing, the food was incredible, the wine was divine, and dessert was perfect. Loved everything about our evening, just wish Cork & Table had more space to enjoy a drink before our dinner. That would really round out a perfect evening!
Great food, and great service. A gem in Fredericksburg.
The food was superb as usual. While I do expect a ‘dining experience ‘, the main course took extremely long. The customers who arrived at the same time concluded their entire meal and dessert and left before we were served. Over 2.5 hours is a bit extreme
The Good: Service was great. Very attentive but not overbearing with good suggestions.
The Bad: When we walked in the place was filled with smoke from the grill in the kitchen. Apparently the exhaust hood was not working. At various times throughout dinner they would crack the front door for a bit but halfway through dinner our eyes starting burning.
The UGLY: Our two chicken dishes both arrived undercooked. And by undercooked I mean flat out raw in the middle. I was a couple bites into mine before my wife noticed. That said, they took them away and brought whole new plates out and took desserts off the bill. But we still ate raw chicken.
Really good food... meat was lovely and tender. Wine was amazing. But that is where my accolades stop. Restaurant was Smokey from the kitchen...so much so that I smelled of Smokey kitchen when we walked out. Service so so. Our waiter forgot two drinks. We never got one of them.
