Cork & Table
We love the 4 course Fixed Price Dinner with wine pairing. It has something for everyone.
The ahi and lentils were delicious. The dark chocolate pudding is a must. Rich and silky. Not sweet. Paired everything with Caymus Cabernet. This is a must try if you have not before.
If you like well prepared food accompanied by wine exquisitely paired with it, go to Cork and Table. We always do the 4-course proxy fixe menu with wine and typically select the evening specials. Never disappointed. Each course seems to top the previous one. For the quality of the meal, we find C&T to be priced right. Ambiance is great for great eating. Real foodies would love this place. Ingredients are fresh. We had the scallops. Both meals were perfectly prepared, the scallops were soft and juicy. They were the real things, unlike what many restaurants serve as “scallops.” Don’t expect a large menu but every dish is interesting with many excellent flavors. Love the place. Also, don’t be put off if the establishment appears to be a “ hole in the wall.” It really isn’t. The food is truly worth it.
Not the first time we have visited. Experience has been consistent each time. The food tends to be simple, but very well prepared. Wine pairings seem to be well thought out and fun.
Our go-to restaurant for dinner with special friends.
Cork and Table is one of our all time favorite restaurants in downtown Fredericksburg - great food, owner very friendly and personable, quaint atmosphere - definitely far above your chain restaurant. Highly recommend you give it a try.
Our evening at Cork and Table was outstanding! The two of us ordered the 4 course, fixed price dinners with the wine pairing. The food and wines were excellent. We highly recommend Cork and Table and will return again.
Excellent meal. Excellent wine choices for pairing.
The restaurant is close to parking and was easy to find. It's small, but didn't feel cramped.
We did the 4 course fixed price menu. The menu is small, but there were a couple of interesting choices for each course. The food was really good.
Our server was very attentive. Prices seemed to be on par with other restaurants in downtown. My wife and I will definitely be back regularly.
It was our first time trying Cork and Table and we were not disappointed! Our server, Tom, was friendly and very helpful with questions we had. He made great recommendations. We will definitely be back!
Great meal as always. New Must Try is the Landmark Vineyards Overlook Pinot Noir 2016. Delicious.
Truly great spot for fine dining in downtown Fredericksburg. The wine pairings are perfect.
Love this little restaurant. Quaint cozy and the food is amazing. Nice variety and many gluten free options. Great wine selection. Owners recognize us now that we've brought so many friends in for dinner.
Enjoyed the scallops on spaghetti squash with saracha aoli. Lemon soufflé finish was great ending.
The staff was great and quite knowledgeable. A wonderful time.
We come to this restaurant every year when we are in Fredericksburg for the Historic Half Marathon..... i
Limited menu but each dish is a delight. We did the 4-course fixed price menu with wine paired for each course. We considered it a very good deal. Both of us had the daily specials (scallops—real ones and a ham salad). Portions were perfect for us. We normally do eat 4-courses. No problem devouring everyone. Parsnip soup was a delight too. C&T is now our favorite Fredericksburg restaurant.
This is the 3rd time I've dined at Cork and Table, and I haven't been disappointed once! The food is delicious, the presentation is beautiful, the service is lovely and the price is reasonable. I would recommend Cork and Table to anyone living in the area or visiting from anywhere else!
So delicious and fresh. We loved the food and will definitely be back:)
Our first visit, on the recommendation of a friend...what a wonderful surprise!! We tried the three course dinner with wine pairing. Outstanding in every respect. Can't wait to return!
Did the 4 course with pairing the food was amazing
Incredible food quality. Reservations were respected and table waiting with water poured. Weekends they need 2 waitresses, a child serving and clearing your meal made me feel a bit awkward with my guests. Class act otherwise. Very friendly waitress but she did everything herself from serving to phone calls to clearing and setting tables to bar service to pickup orders. Great dinner packages for all
My favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg. Food is delicious and thoughtful, wine selection is impressive, and service is always top-notched. My husband and I come here once or twice a year when we are in town and look forward to our meals each time.
Always a great meal. Good service, great food. Ventilation needs improvement, looking forward to new location.
Cork and Table has a small staff and the majority, if not all, of the food is made to order. Keep this in mind while waiting for service and your food. The wait is well worth it and you won’t be disappointed. You can tell the chefs take great care it their ingredient selection, preparation, and presentation. Everything we ate was beautifully prepared and amazingly delicious. It isn’t advertised that much and there isn’t always a paper menu available, but do yourself a favor and get the Chef’s Tasting Menu. The chef will be happy to come out and go over it with you. If you enjoy wine, then definitely go with the Chef’s Tasting Menu and wine pairings. Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Cork and Table.
Food was amazing and it was a perfect atmosphere for date night!
Superb food, service and ambiance. Highly recommend for a reasonable priced delicious meal.
Wine pairings are fantastic! Don’t pass them up.
Cork and Table should be your "Go To" place in Fredricksburg.. in fact even if not in Fredricksburg, go here! The food is delicious and fresh. Wine list is full of many varietals and all fairly priced. Owner Jim is friendly and took extra time to speak to us about the wine list and his favorites. Do not over look Cork and Table, it is absolutely worth the visit! We cannot wait to go back!
Early Valentine’s Day dinner. Lovely place.
Our first trip to Cork & Table was exceptional. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent.
The only disappointment was the fact that they didn’t serve liquor. My husband is not a wine drinker and he would have enjoyed a drink.
Excellent food. Deliciously prepared and all very tasty. Love the pairing with the wines. Recommend this fine establishment!!
Great food, very good service and the suggested wines were very affordable and paired well with the food.
My husband and I went during restaurant week, so it was a choice of 2 menus. The service was excellent, and the wine choices were very good. Unfortunately, our soup course was cold, which diminished the flavor, but we ate it. The beef entrée was outstanding, and the dessert was excellent. We were glad to hear that the restaurant is moving to a larger place. This will improve the ambience considerably.
Jim is a talented chef, and we have known him for several years. We are glad to see his success, and hope
to return to his the Cork & Table again. We highly recommend Jim and his restaurant!!
Very narrow dining area which creates a lot of noise. Smoke from kitchen was very uncomfortable and enough to irritate eyes. Gluten free options on menu were not available, a serious health issue if the diner did not ask specifically. Food was excellent. Service slow on a busy night.
This was a European dining experience. Three Exceptionally well cooked, tasty and well presented courses with good wine pairings moderately priced. The staff friendly and personable. The only reason I didn’t give the dinner 5 stars was the vegs and potato were served just like warm.
Cork and Table is a great place for a really nice meal. It is our goto place for special occasions ( birthdays, anniversaries, or just a special meal. Food, service and wine is consistently excellent.
Food was great.had the tuna and it was done to perfection.
4th time dining with them and look forward to the next time......
