My daughter lives in San Angelo so I visit from the Chicago area multiple times a year and this is a stop during every visit! Love the salmon, and the beignet dessert is something to behold!

Drinks were fabulous, whoever is behind the bar knows what they are doing! We were visiting for a family reunion and came a day early to explore. One had a delicious pizza and I had the marinated steak which was spicier than expected. I love spice but not heat at my age.

We went for Mother's Day. We had made a reservation for 9 and our table was outside and seated only 8. Being outside they turned on fans which was nice, but then also turned on misters, much like those at a theme park, which blew mist all over our table and food. The food came out only 2 plates at a time with about 10 minutes between servings. And they forgot my food all together. When I did get my food (Chicken and Waffles) it was overcooked and cold. Overall it was not a good experience and we were very disappointed in the service and food.

We booked a reservation here based on favorable reviews and an interesting write up on the chef and menu. After many years of traveling to San Angelo to visit our son attending ASU, we decided to give it a try. We had family coming in from all areas of the country and asked for a table for 8. The table setup was undersized for our group with two people having to sit awkwardly at a table corner. We asked for an extra chair because originally we would not have enough seating. This seemed to fluster the staff and I feel they were not as accommodating after that. The food was ok but I did not see the creativity that is given online. Portions were nice. Prices are moderate. In their defense, they were extremely busy - I just wish it could have been the special dinner I planned which is whole reason I booked with OpenTable and advised them it was for my son's graduation.
