Reunion with a friend.

We had a WONDERFUL meal a Cork & Cow - but the din was awful. We asked for a quiet table and were seated upstairs where you get a birds’ eye view of the bar and other diners. We ordered cocktails, a Caesar salad, the lamb special, grilled oysters, a tomato tart and wine with dinner. The food was really excellent and we enjoyed the cocktails and wine. Our waiter was attentive and unobtrusive. But the noise of the crowded restaurant was so difficult we considered leaving after cocktails. We decided to stay and enjoyed the food - but we will be hesitant to return. The waiter even mentioned that the biggest negative they hear from patrons is the noise level Many people patronize this restaurant - but we will probably not be joining them.

Great meal, great service and a great surprise when the chef stopped by to thank us for our business. Wonderful personal touch.

My husband and i went to the Cork & Cow for a date night and loved it. Our server, Alan, was very engaging and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was amazing! We will be going back and will recommend to anyone. Great experience and date night success.

Cork & Cow never disappoints!

Their strength is their steaks and chops. I would not stray from those entrees. The lamb chop appetizer with chimichurri was excellent, and so was their filet of beef entree. They were prepared properly and very delicious. I would stay away from the shrimp, scallop, and gnocchi entree. The gnocchi were dense and heavy. I prefer a gnocchi that is lighter in texture.
Our entire family ranging in age from 8 to 66 years enjoyed their meal.

First, let me start by saying the service that we received was by far the best service I have ever experienced! We have eaten at some of the nicest restaurants in Nashville that include Kayne Prime & Jeff Ruby’s and the service that “Eric” provided exceeded every dining experience we have had! He was absolutely AMAZING!!! The food is always delicious and the oysters are to die for! The drinks from the bar are wonderful as well! Thank you Cork & Cow for hiring the best of the best!!!!

We eat out a lot and have been to many great restaurants over the years. This place was fantastic and I had one of the best filets I’ve ever eaten. Quality beef with amazing flavor. Service was top notch too.

One of the best steaks I have had in a very long time. Get the black truffle butter on your steak!! So good. Dessert a bit disappointing but overall, we loved it!

Went for special occasion. Food was good but overpriced and it was very loud inside. So would not recommend for intimate dinner.

They’re always consistent and remarkably attentive. I love their menu, but their specials and seasonal menu updates have never disappointed. The staff are like family, truly my favorite restaurant. I highly recommend for any occasion, even if it’s just to drop in for a cocktail. Although they don’t have a weekend brunch, 55 South (adjacent and shares a kitchen), does and it’s amazing! The food is always equally delicious. Don’t miss either; they’re a Franklin treasure!

Our experience at Cork and Cow was phenomenal. It was exceptional from start to finish. Our server, Alan, was wonderful. Franklin is an hour drive for us and was worth every minute of the drive. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend.

Our waiter was outstanding! Very knowledgeable, attentive but did not rush us through the meal.

Food was average. Pricing a little high but expected for the area. Service very good. They need more appetizer choices. Steaks were average. Overall, the restaurant is fine but nothing special.

It was da bomb!

We always enjoy the great food at Cork and Cow. The dry aged ribeye was fantastic. Get there early and grab a cocktail at the bar first!

Our service was wonderful, so I certainly want that to be clear! The prices on the menu were very high and without much variation. My husband typically gets a NYStrip, but because my parents were paying he almost just went with a burger because there was no better affordable option. My dad and husband ended up going with the special of the evening (my husband just paid my dad instead of assuming the host would pay the high amounts on the menu). My husband’s was cooked well, but we realized at the end of the meal that my dad’s was cooked medium rare instead of medium. My mom ordered the special tart and the kitchen ran out before the waitress knew. Overall we were not overly thrilled with the experience. My parents do not drink alcohol, so we do not order it on their tab, and we were worried the waitress would be rude because she wasn’t going to get as good of tips. That wasn’t the case, telling me that she was generally a good server.

Excellent in every way as always!

I search for great restaurants around the south--this is my favorite. The only thing close is Jack Fry's in Lousiville, KY.

So glad we tried Cork and Cow. We have a great experience. We had charred oysters which were wonderful, and filet. Everything was excellent. Can't wait to go back.

Outstanding food

On 3/22 had a great meal and excellent service provided by Adam. Looking forward to coming back soon. Highly recommend. Overall great experience.

Great atmosphere - - even better service. Found the wood grilled steak too salty, and it was slightly over cooked.

Service was fantastic. The food is good but nothing special, and not worth the premium price. They use the address of another restaurant, 55 South. They are in the same building but their entrance and sign is around the corner, which you cannot see. We had to call.

Unfortunately I don’t but should remember our waiter. He was awesome to us all but it was my granddaughters birthday and he made her feel special.
