Great steaks and fantastic drinks. Service was outstanding! Definitely come back when in Franklin again.
Guess there is a reason Cork and Cow had availability on Valentine's Day at the last minute. It's a small place and the majority of the seating is in a "line up" slammed right up next to each other. Tables are barely wide enough to hold your plate and a drink. We probably had the worst server in the place, which didn't help. Good wine options and food was ok at best. For the price, the food should be much better. Won't be back- won't sit in a line up again.
Delicious charred oyster appetizer. Fabulous dry aged NY Strip! Love the very special mac and cheese. Finished with still warm crème brûlée! Perfect!
Cork and Cow is ALWAYS an excellent choice when dining out in Franklin. Consistently high quality food and service plus, they have the best bartenders in Nashville (John and Zach)!
We enjoyed our experience immensely. Our server was informed, but didn’t hover. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect. We will definitely be back!
Had a wonderful anniversary date. Our server was perfect!
This is our favorite place. Best steak and I continue to be impressed. Go with the bone in filet. Worth the price
Wish there was a bigger bar area for when waiting for a table. Other than that, OUTSTANDING as always.
Wonderful foo, attentive but not overbearing service. I enjoyed the Modified Clyde, a smooth but stout cocktail. Lamb chop appetizer was yummy, as was the Steakhouse Salad (bacon vinaigrette and tomato jam are game changers), bone in filet was perfectly cooked and just as good as the server promised. Gnocchi and Brussels sprouts were good, but not life changing. What was life changing-the sour cream ice cream cake-definitely save room for dessert!
Outstanding evening for wedding anniversary dinner -- John and Zack at the bar are masters of mixology -- Allen is the most wonderful and knowledgeable server with great recommendations of food selection and wines. None better anywhere. Food was top-notch. Bar scene is a Franklin institution. Go - enjoy --
my wife has food allergies (pepper). We informed the waiter of the allergy who informed the kitchen. However, the kitchen still used chilies in the sauce in her dish. We were all confused as to why the kitchen did not seem to realize that chilies are a type of pepper.
The food and service was incredible! Highly recommend!
Fabulous as always!
Food and service were off the chart!
We had a wonderful meal at the Cork and Cow - from the salads to the asparagus, and tangy brussels sprouts, and especially our entrees - filet mignon, a lamb chop, and especially the rack of lamb - all expertly prepared, nicely presented, and delicious! The cocktails and wine were also a nice addition. The only downside to the evening was the level of noise in the restaurant. This seems to be the trend lately - good food in noisy spaces - so not just an issue at the Cork and Cow. So, the only thing I would have wished to be different was to have enjoyed quieter conversation with my companions. We will definitely be back for the food - and try to find a time when it isn't so crowded - if such a time exists!
