Had a reservation for our anniversary. The only that was a minimal issue was finding the entrance. The restaurant is part of a hotel that was renovated from a factory so you have to travel through the parking lot to get the. Nothing terrible but a little challenge. The atmosphere, the service and the meal were all excellent. Emmitt was a real pro and very attentive. Would definitely recommend!
We were traveling from out of town 3 states away. The expericence with friends was wonderful.
Food was fantastic! Great place if your looking to celebrate a special occasion.
Great food. Attentive and friendly staff. Cozy ambiance. Perfect date night!
We were exploring as an option for a reh. dinner and were very pleased with our meal and overall experience -- We could see a possible parking issue if multiple events are taking place as same time
Great service. Amazing food and service!
Vegan burger was one of the best I've ever had! Their sweet potato fries are some of my favorite too!
Went late. Food was still amazing. Server was obviously worn out from a bust night, et still pretty decent.
All around excellent experience. Food was amazing, the service was top notch, couldn’t have asked for better anything. Another memorable anniversary at one of our favorite places.
Excellent service & food!
Very nice atmosphere and excellent food. Each portion looked and tasted like it was prepared by experienced chef.
The dessert was outstanding as well
We’ll definitely be back!
Great service, food was amazing and reasonably priced. The building was very cool as well. We will definitely be back!
I had the filet and my husband had the meatloaf and macaroni and cheese. Both were excellent and the service was outstanding! The ambiance was lovely, which made for a very special evening. I highly recommend Cork & Cap!
They sat us near the waitress station, and that was too much activity; and they need shinier looking eating utensils
We could hear the next table’s conversation too easy
Otherwise it was great
we had a fantastic meal at cork & cap. it was our first time there and the setting was rustic and quaint. the staff was friendly and our server (dan) was outstanding. the menu was interesting and varied... and the portion sizes were perfect. they were busy but our food arrived quickly. it was our anniversary and it definitely did not disappoint... we will go back again.
Had our daughters wedding at the Cork Factory Hotel, August 2019. Her grandfather loves the place so much and wanted to return so we bought him a gift card and took him for dinner. He had a great duck dinner.
First of all it was noisy even at the 5-6 pm timeframe. My wife had the beet salad followed by the crab cake entree. I had the chicken and waffle soup followed by the braised beef brisket. We shared the hush puppies. The soup was described by Emily as being like a chicken pot pie. I was served a creamy chicken soup with two very small - about the size of a quarter - waffles on the side of the cup. Wouldn’t one slightly larger waffle on top of the soup make a better presentation and be truer to the description? The soup itself was very good. My entree, being a braised beef, should have been able to be pulled apart with a fork. I needed to cut mine with a knife. It simply was not fork tender. In my opinion, the meat was not braised properly and/or for the proper length of time. Beef brisket is not very forgiving. Diners want to enjoy the selection as it is described on the menu. This really missed the mark to the point of deception. On another note, at one point we had on our table two large entree plates, the hush puppy plate, my soup cup and dish, my wife’s large beet salad plate, the bread basket, two water glasses, a wine glass, and a martini glass. This was not because we were slow eaters - my wife had a bite or two of her salad and I a spoonful or two of my soup - and surprise here come the entrees. Dishes were cleared while we ate but the damage was done. There was a disconnect between front and back of the house. Entrees should have come out about 10 minutes later. Remember that if the diners are rushed they don’t have the time to spend more money, right?
Crab dip was phenomenal!! Also had the hush puppies, good as well. My friend had gotten surf and turf, she loved it. I got a burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was a bit salty but not so bad I couldn’t eat it. Drinks were great, dirty martini and Malibu bay breeze.
Really enjoyed our meal. Nice ambiance and very good service. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good. We shared several appetizers, had three great entrées, and desserts. Portions were good size and food was delicious. Would definitely go back!
Beautiful building. Food was adequate
I have Never ever taken the time to write a bad review but if I can save someone a couple hundred dollars spent miserably:
We have chosen Cap & Cork for several special dinners in the past and my Mom loves it so it was a no-brainer to book their 50th Wedding Anniversary dinner there. We weren’t having a big party, just immediate family- 5 people. I swear I requested a table in the dining section beside the bar which has always been lovely. Sadly, we were seated between a giant Bday party with kids and a rowdy foul mouthed table celebrating a 21st Birthday. It would have been less noise and not as many F-Bombs at Chucky Cheese. I asked the hostess to speak to the manager to see if there was any possibility to change tables but the staff behind the hostess table said he was no where to be found. When I plead with them that this was a really special night, one of the staff grabbed her iPad to show me my booking with open table and very rudely informed me that there were no notes in my booking. So defeated, I went back to the table. The food took 45 min to arrive and was barely warm. Manager never came to the table and I ended up handing them my CC before our last bite was chewed and remaining wine consumed just to escape the noise and chaos of the dining room. I’ll think twice before booking with Open table and CERTAINLY Never ever eat at Cap & Cork again.
Great food and the creme brûlée was to die for
Great restaurant with a great vibe, we had a great dinner and the staff was very nice.
Food was excellent
Service was great
Manager was wonderful
The food was very good my daughters did not care for the mac & cheese and didn’t need it but we’re still charged atmosphere was great waitress was a little slow but overall we really enjoyed ourselves
Hostess friendly. Beautiful restaurant and ambiance. Server very pleasant and the food was tasty. We try the salmon and crab entree and it was yummy. Dessert chocolate cake with strawberries. I would definitely will come back but this time with my husband.
Beautiful place, great service
I just wish they had more vegan/vegetarian options
Everything was wonderful - from the atmosphere to the extremely attentive and great server to the delicious food! Would definitely recommend!
We had a wonderful meal here--seated outside on their patio. Delicious food and terrific service.
Great place to go for low key business meetings or date night. Love the aspect that this place used to be a old manufacturing plant and the original structure is mostly intact.
Great food excellent service
Had a fantastic dinner here last evening…Mother/Daughter date nite! The meal began with a cup of Chicken Waffle soup. Never heard of it as a soup. Go for it! Soooo delish, could have been my dinner. But wait, here comes dinner. Petite filet mignon w/2 sautéed scallops and seasonal vegetables. It was the best; generous portions but I was stuffed and couldn’t finish! Except what? Creme brûlée you say. OMG must have! Ate the whole thing!! This place DOES NOT disappoint when it comes to an unforgettable dinner.
Our waitress (think it was Jen) was very efficient, but most of all, her fun personality was the icing on the cake!
Go here! You’ll be glad you did!
Felt rushed - if we didn’t slow things down, the restaurant would have had us in and out in less than 30 minutes.
Booked a table for three: me, my elderly mom, and friend from Pittsburgh. Perfect for mom because of mobility issues. Comfortable seating, lots of space between tables. Waitress was very attentive and tableside manners and service was top notch!
Beautiful restaurant with reasonable prices. Food was good and server was attentive. Would definitely return if I’m back in the area.
Service was excellent. The food was delicious and beverage selection good. Would have loved to see a sangria on the list, but there were plenty other fine options. Nice, quiet atmosphere. It was a girls night out but this would be a great date place.
Good was wonderful and ambiance was perfect for date night. The bar was great - service was awesome and drinks were delicious!
Very nice place to go. You will enjoy the good and drinks.
Great food. Really neat decor. I do not like the way the seating is for couples. You are seated along a wall side by side by other couples. I was thankful we were close to some nice, fun people but it is still slightly uncomfortable in a romantic setting. But honestly the food and atmosphere is perfect. Small menu but food is on point.
