Cordo is derived from the geographical word Cordillera; the parallel mountain ranges together with intervening plateaus. Cordo looks to celebrate our unique and beautiful region and the bounty it offers through fresh ingredients from local farmers and ranchers. Our kitchen is dedicated to creating an unforgettable dining experience with the freshest ingredients and detailed execution of the Executive Chef’s vision.

The Bar Program at Cordo is an experience of BC. A wide selection of BC Liquors is the foundation for creating our signature cocktails using fresh juice from BC fruit and vegetables accented by herbs from our in-house herb garden. House-made syrups from local BC products with a touch of house made bitters will be the accent that creates a unique cocktail experience. The beer and wine offerings will be of local craftsman displaying the true talent and expertise in Kamloops and surround B.C. regions.

I highly recommend anyone to go to Cordo restaurant and bar if you’re looking for a real nice evening out. All the food we ordered was excellent.

Great food. Great service. We celebrated an anniversary and were treated like royalty. I can’t think of a single thing that would have improved our experience at Cordo. (Slow clapping).

Had the Korean lettuce bowl to start, the fillet mignon, and got a free desert....:) Service was superb! Please give Ashley a pay bump. Will definitely be coming back.

Our service was not attentive enough...too long in between getting our drinks and checked on. Food was delicious though.

Upon first glance, the restaurant looks like a typical “breakfast area” in a hotel, but the menu was creative and the food was delicious. They were training a new waitress but the service was fine. As a group we descended on the restaurant after a long day on the Rocky Mountaineer. We (my husband and I) made reservations to assure a limited wait. Since we were fed well on the train and we would have an early day, we both chose lighter fare. I had the soup of the day which came with a biscuit (not cookie, a savory Southern biscuit) and a tomato and strawberry “salad” with a tomato sorbet scoop in the middle. Tasty heirloom tomatoes and sweet strawberries with a savory/sweet sorbet. Truly delicious. If we had been in the mood, it was Margarita Monday- so $2 CA off any margarita.

Has a weird anniversary meal at Cordo went on our anniversary to this restaurant. Arrived earlier than our reservation and was greeted nice and seated with no issue. That unfortunately was the better part of the service for us. Asked for a bottle of Prosecco but received 2 glasses. The server took our order promptly but then the wait for food and any replenishment of drinks was strangely lacking. Seated at 7.39. Received cold brisket lettuce salad wraps which was strange. With wet cold mushrooms. So the cold dry brisket with zero sauce only got moisture from the water on the lettuce and the water dripping out the mushrooms I found nasty. They cleared 70% of what they served me and didn’t enquire as to why?! No offer of a second drink. At 8.45pm me and my husband sat looking at each other wondering where on earth our meals were. Our server came and dropped off 2 tiny sorbet balls and barely made eye contact after telling us the flavor quickly and bolting! We took this as a delay in the kitchen. At 9 pm I was past even having a desire for a second drink. My glass was empty and my husband chased down a 2nd host. I wanted to just leave. She went off and about 9.15 she came out with our meals that she’d obviously made the kitchen make while she stood over them. No apology for any delay, no communication about any delay, still no offer of a 2nd drink ~ this place totally ruined our 10 year wedding anniversary meal. They did comp the 2 Prosecco as a anniversary gift to us but seemed oblivious to the fact that they’d ruined our evening. For the first time in years my husband pressed ZERO on the tip ! (To be clear, we tip well everywhere- he tipped $5 on 2 coffee earlier in the day, we left without a dessert or a goodbye) . My $57 steak was lovely. My husbands sole was lovely. shame that it was lacking everywhere else. They knew it was our anniversary, they should know they ruined it. Why didn’t we complain? I didn’t want that as my 10yr anniversary memory.
