My wife and I have dined at Coqueta several times (and loved it every time prior). We were a party of 5 (all adults). Typically, we love M.C. restaurants. Sadly, we were disappointed this time. The food quality was hit and miss for some Tapas plates and not available for others. Hmmm, not sure how you run out of something at 6 PM on a Friday evening when the place is less than 50% full. Also, the value for the money was not worth it. For example, we ordered several “Fuet.” skewers. It was a small piece of sausage (the size of a nickel) and an olive on a fancy took-pick. Price: $3.50 each. You can make dozens of these at home (and they would be better) for the price of several of these at the restaurant. Next, “Pan con Tomate.” It was a 2 pieces of toast (maybe less) cut into pieces and served with a small side of tomato sauce. Price: $5. Most pizza joints would comp this when you order a pizza. Next, “Cafia de Cabra” (goats milk cheese). Price: $10. The cheese was good, but they didn’t serve it with anything. Perhaps crackers or a few toast points. Next, “Salmon Ahumado”. It was excellent. “Pulpo a la Parilla” (Octopus leg). Decently prepared. $18 is a little spendy for this small one leg portion. “Champinones.” Not available. “Coquetas de Pollo.” Not available. “Bocadillo De Cochinillo” (pork belly). Not available. “Pluma” (Iberico shoulder loin). Very pricey but it was excellent. “Paella Mar y Montana.” Very tasty but the rice didn’t cover the bottom of the paella pan. Seriously, rice is not expensive and this is not supposed to be a Tapas sized plate. We passed on ordering “Gaucho Bistec” (32 oz Tomahawk Ribeye). Hard to drop $120 for a steak when our group likes our beef cooked at different temps. If they had 16 oz. Ribeyes on the menu at $60 each we would have ordered 2 of them. We wanted to order dessert but when the waiter “recommended” the Churros, we were underwhelmed. We left disappointed and hungry. Not sure we will rush back anytime soon. :(

After ordering waited 57 minutes for our food and it was never served. Waiter was attentive and sympathetic with the wait. Ultimately the waiter cancelled our orders and we left the restaurant without eating. Would not recommend.

This was our first time dining at Coqueta. The food was delicious. We had several tapas plates before eating the seafood paella. The smoked salmon was spectacular! We were disappointed in the service. Over 3 hours for a meal was more than we had bargained for. We sat for nearly 30 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Once we finally flagged down a waiter it took at least another 15 minutes before we received our drinks (but still no water on the table). I couldn’t believe the staff wondering around setting tables while being completely oblivious to the guests trying to flag them down. It’s like we weren’t even there. Such a disappointment—particularly after learning that Michael Chiarello owns the establishment. I would have expected more. We enjoyed the food but we may skip this one next time due to the unacceptable service.

Came for lunch for 3 of us. Atmosphere was really nice. With our reservation we were seated immediately, but the Hostess was not warm and welcoming. Our server only stopped by the table once to take the order. The gentlemen refilling water came around very often which was nice. The food for the price was not worth it. The octopus we had was rubbery, the skewers were tiny for $4 each, the pork belly sliders were more like pulled pork and underwhelming, the patatas bravas and lamb meatballs were the only thing we enjoyed. Just left feeling really underwhelmed and disappointed

Kind of foods and quality can’t equate with how pricey they were! There is no follow up service if how are doing with our orders or do we need anything. Host and server just passes bye and won’t make glance at the tables so he could see hands waving that a customer needs something. One of our staters was served after we’re done with our main course after 3 follow up made.; apparently the order taker’s fault forgetting about it. The customer restroom is horrible! No toilet seat cover, toilet paper running out, no hand soap and no paper towel. The restroom floor is wet. With the price, their toilet room should be clean! Wish I can post the picture that I took in here.

This last time We were there they had ran out of smoked salmon the waitress told us that someone needed to go get it at the store, we order some dessert they said that they had to go get it from the adjacent restaurant. Very disappointed! The tapas portions were unreasonable tiny and overpriced. We ordered the eggplant, prawns, octopus, pork belly, chicken croquettes, & mushrooms. The chicken croquettes were ok. The only good thing was the octopus so we ordered another one which came out chewy and cold. We were looking forward to the paella which was a complete disappointment. The rice was stuck and burned and what remained was very salty. I understand having some crunchy rice at the bottom, but this was burned. We returned it and left looking for another place to eat. We will not be returning here. The service was good.

The Red Sangria was perfect. The blueberry limonada was tasty. The octopus was seasoned well and prepared perfectly. The paella was also really good as were the chicken croquettes. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Try this food!!! You won’t be disappointed!!! The food descriptions on the menu are kinda blahhhh but the food is amazing!

Cozy outdoor dining patio, great selection of shareable dishes that pair well with their housemade sangria. We started with the chorizo, manchego, and pan con tomate, then moved on to patatas bravas, croquetas de pollo, and gambas negras. We will be back with friends to share a paella!

Extremely disappointing evening. We've dined here several times before and always had a great experience. Sergio and Carlos were outstanding and the sea salt margaritas were superb, but the kitchen needs a lot of work. The Pan con Tomate had no flavor. It also came with 4 toast points which were not nearly enough for the dish. We paid for additional points, but really, increase the price to include enough. The Gambas Negras (shrimp) were basically raw such that we could not eat them (they did take them off the bill). Our final attempt was the Pulpo a la Parilla (grilled octopus). It was tasteless (thankfully we had some salt leftover from the Pan con Tomate to help). We've recommended Coqueta in the past, but cannot at this time.

We had a delicious dinner at Coqueta! Our favorites were the chicken croquetas, the octopus and to drink the paradise gardens! It was a fun vibe outside on the patio with great music and quick service. Will be back again.

I should have listened to friends and not have gone. The paella did not have bottom crust, tasted like Rice a Roni and was cold. Asked if Ciarello comes in and was told about once a week. Cannot recommend this place.

We have been OpenTable members for many years and this is our first review. We have been visiting Napa for over 20 years. We have eaten at every Chiarello restaurant, starting with the original Travigne. From the rude hostess, to the ambivalent service and the mediocre food, worst experience yet at a MC restaurant. Hurts to say. Many better options in Yountville.

Loved the place. The food was amazing and the ambiance was great. Some things were a bit overpriced like the meat and cheese platter, but overall wonderful experience.
