   Every single plate was better than the last. The albondigas a la feria were amazing and so tenderly cooked (we ordered them with every round) and the cogollos salad was bright and delicious.

   The ambiance and overall service of Coqueta is outstanding, but the food quality just didn't measure up to Bottega, it's sister restaurant. We had octopus and seafood paella and the seafood in general was overcooked and lacked flavor. One OUTSTANDING dish was the Croquetas de Pollo - and we agreed at the table that we could have eaten those all night long. Also, the flan and churros were amazing. And again, both food and wine service was outstanding. Maybe it was just an "off" afternoon for seafood, but I still have high expectations from any of the Chiarello restaurants.

   It was a warm cozy place, wine was good, three tapas were all good. Our waitress was adorable.

   Enjoyed the sangria but the food portions were way too small for the price. I'll stick to my usual tapas place in SF where for half the price we get twice as much. The service was friendly.

   Food was just ok. The Gaucho bistec was great, but the tapas were average. Expected more given the location and the price.

   The food is consistently delicious but this time the service was awful. It took us over an hour to get two small appetizers. No one gave us an update on our order and when we asked, the server told us that the paella dishes were given priority. We asked for a couple more pieces of bread for the shrimp sauce and they charged us for it, despite the long wait. Most restaurants would have given us the bread free of charge given the wait. We left hungry- we wanted to order more but couldn’t tolerate the wait. There were 2 chefs too.

    Excellent food…. Wonderful server … enjoyed the ambiance except for the poorly mannered parents who paid no attention to their loud children…. Love coqueta!!!
