Everything about the place is great except for half of the food items that we sadly got. They are heavily spiced (not referring to heat level) and that gives it a very bold flavor when unnecessary. The mocktail drinks are equally spiced which makes it a very odd pairing with the food. I would assume the drinks would have been more refreshing to counteract the spice intensity

Everything we had was fantastic, standouts include the salad, the octopus and the chicken biryani. Our server was really helpful with suggestions and upbeat. The room is beautiful, if a little loud but we did not mind, it was a nice busy atmosphere. Delicious cocktails and we enjoyed wines by the glass as well that paired well!

Flavors were exceptional, presentation was meticulous, vibe was the perfect blend of unstuffy and refined. Terrific brunch experience. The oysters were incredible, and we loved the Parotta and Dosa equally, each condiment better than the last.

Copra has the most expertly flavoured South Indian food I've ever had. Every bite was a master class in ingredient pairings and depth. Highly recommend the passionfruit pani puri. I took one bite and just sat there stunned, it was so layered and alive with flavours. The slow-cooked octopus was another star, it melted in the mouth and was perfectly flavoured. The aval kosambri lettuce wrap with mango and pear chutney was incredible too, every bite bursting with fragrance and complexity that hit in waves, and yet was so light. Beautiful interior (no sound proofing though), kind of beige-modernist-visits-1900s-India vibes. Wish I could eat here over and over.

all food items were exceptional. they captured the flavors of kerala and coorg, with an artistic flair. my south-indian-native fiancé claimed the chettinad wasn’t spicy enough, but that’s to be expected given we’re in the wrong country. also the servers were extremely busy so we didn’t get frequent attention. but the overall experience was 5 star.

Had a wonderful experience at Copra last night. We sat in the main part of the dining room which is quite open. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in helping us understand the menu and create a nice meal. The food was interesting and very flavorful. Very creative menu that had us all feeling we were on a bit of a culinary journey. We loved everything but the black cod was by far the best entree. We went with what the waiter and chef recommended and we were so happy we did. Can't wait to go back soon.
