The food was amazing and we had excellent service!
Lovely place, the lasagna was better then the carmines one. The Moscow mule they served was one of the best ones I’ve had drank before. Amazing food, drinks and ambiance.
We ate at Coppola's before a concert at the Beacon. Great little restaurant with excellent food and service.
I have loved Coppola’s for years, but after this experience I don’t think I will return. Our server took our orders and delivered our bottle of wine, and that was the last we saw him. Also, the dish I normally order was only so-so. There are too many other good restaurants in New York.
Awful service. My husband and I felt like we were at a diner. Food was rushed. Waiter was nasty. My husband had a terrible chicken dish. We complained to management on our way out and they were very defensive. What an unprofessional place. Stay away.
Food and service were exceptional, we will continue to frequent. Thanks for the great meal and great service.
Lovely neighborhood restaurant.
Consistently good food and service.
I brought my cousins from out of town and they were very pleased .
Dine here regularly with many friends.
Really liked this cozy Italian on the UWS...we went right after a show at The Beacon so it's a perfect spot for an after-show bite. It's small and cozy, food is good, ambiance is nice.
quick & very good service. delicious food.. a little pricey
Other than having to wait 15-20 minutes for our reservation, it was a good meal. Local, old-world feel. Friendly staff.
Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Loved my Chicken Toscana!!! We will definitely be putting Coppola’s on our go to list.
Great cozy Italian restaurant. Great food and terrific service!
Uninspired food and wines. The lasagna was a pile of of molten cheese over diner-quality noodles and filling. Wines tasted like they came from jugs - or the discount section of Trader Joe’s. Not going back.
Great “homey” place with delicious food, warm service.
Lovely. Simply lovely. Meatball was amazeballs would highly recommend.
Great delicious as always!
Always wonderfully delicious with the most professional staff
First visit here was very pleasant evening. Space is small and popular on weekends. The food quality is solid and offering is all the American Italian favorites: Veal Parm, Pastas, Lasagna, some pizzas. The artichoke and asparagus salad was delicious, fresh and well seasoned. Overall a neighborhood solid option.
I have been here several times ) esp when seeing a show at the Beacon) and have never been disappointed!! The food is delicious!!
Excellent service and food. They really went the extra distance and made this a special event
Fun restaurant! Food was great. Service was excellent. Very convenient to the theater.
They’re definitely trying to turn tables over quickly. People trying to rush us into ordering, rush us to finish (three separate people came over to ask me if I was done when I still had food on my plate and fork in my hand). It’s great food but I’ll probably do takeout or delivery from now on. Wasn’t worth feeling like I was in the way.
The food was delicious. I had the Bronzino with crabmeat topping. very good. I enjoyed the stuffed mushroom appetizer as well.
Food and service are consistently excellent
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Really authentic Italian food. We had the stuffed mushrooms and the artichoke and asparagus salad for appetizers. We shared and they both were delicious. For the main dishes, I had the Branzino, which was amazing, and my husband had a type of Zuppe di Pesce dish, which he really enjoyed. We will definitely be going back.
We purchased a voucher on TravelZoo for the first time and will never do so again. Coppola's was awful. There were two takeout runners who passed our table about a dozen times with takeout orders. The waitress was grumpy. Our entrees were delivered before we finished our appetizers. My dish, shrimp scampi, was not shrimp scampi - just 5 tiny shrimp on a huge bed of linguine. The meatball appetizer and eggplant parm were very good. We will never return to this restaurant.
The food and service are very good and the restaurant is located right by a subway so is easy to get to.
The food was scrumptious from appetizers to entree. The wine was as delicious as the food and paired perfectly. My only complaint was I had no room left for dessert! The staff was attentive, friendly and talented.
Went to NYC to see Tedeschi Trucks Band at the Beacon Theater. Coppola’s was across the street from our hotel and was a five-minute walk to the Beacon. It got great reviews and was recommended by hotel staff. The homemade pasta with bolognese sauce was fabulous and the service was excellent. Highly recommend Coppola’s.
It was crazy loud they seated us in the middle “aisle” the sound bounced off of us—- I requested to be reseated but they didn’t honor the request. We couldn’t even hear the waiter, used a travel zoo voucher and honestly some of the terms and conditions, made no sense it looks like they raised their prices so they didn’t have to offer some entrées. I’m saying this because yelp people mention that the prices were raised recently. Food was marginal at best, service was extremely erratic. Either the bus boy was trying to remove our plates every five seconds or we were sitting. Nobody asked if the food was good my fish was half cooked. After the food was served nobody followed up to even ask why at least half of my entrée was still on the plate. No, would not go back. Even with the travel zoo voucher, I don’t feel like we got a good value. And then there’s the 20% automatic gratuity.SO LOUD!
As always, the food was delicious. Thanks again to Coppola’s wonderful staff. Our favorite Italian restaurant in the city
Very enjoyable meal. We were in a bit of a hurry- no problem. They took good care of us.
Very good food and service
Has quickly become my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Live taking out of town friends to experience a quintessential New York take on Italian food.
Every neighborhood should have a Coppola's - the great-meal-every-time mainstay you can always count on. We're partial to the veal parm, but the truth is we've never had anything on the menu that wasn't excellent. Generous pours of wine and drinks, homey vibe, nice staff, excellent value -- Coppola's checks every box, every time.
Consistently excellent. Neighborhood gem. I did notice the prices went up a lot but so did the portion size
My favorite neighborhood restaurant. I good there for the good food and ambiance.
Service was professional, food was delicious, prices very low for New York City. A total gem!
Coppola's is the perfect low-key Italian restaurant when that is exactly what you want. Reasonable prices, a small cozy downstairs room, and well-prepared traditional Italian-American comfort food. Every neighborhood needs a restaurant like this -- and we hope that Coppola's never changes!
Best red sauce and best lasagna in New York. I can't wait to go back.
