Perfect neighborhood stop for Italian American comfort food.
Delicious food in old Italian atmosh
I absolutely love the servers there. Food is amazing and can't beat the short commute.
Delicious salads and pasta.
Would definitely eat here again
Food was delicious. Service was amazing.
We got there little earlier than we expected and they were very acomdating.
I t was good & great location for the venue ,we were attending. My friend couldn't walk very well so it was convieniient . A little pricey , but your in NYC , our waitress & staff were very nice & personable.
First time at there. Heard about it by a friend. It was a great desition to go there.
Food is just great, ambience, service, everything.
It was my first but not my last.
Great place. Great food. Staff is fabulous!
I have always wanted to go here and we met up with another couple a few nights ago. Very crowded and popular on a Friday night. Food was pretty good.
The waiter was great, but my main complaint is the way the busboys acted, very pushy. Several times they both tried to take plates away before our meal was finished, after awhile it became annoying for all four of us. Our water glasses were removed while we were still having our coffee, I am sure they are told to do this and turning the tables for the next group is a priority over good service. I will not be returning.
Excellent experience for our first time there...food, service and overall experience. We’ll definitely return!
This was our first time there. We found the menu selections, food quality and service to be outstanding! The homemade focaccia was delicious as well. The bruschetta was a nice welcome treat. The staff work together to ensure that patrons are well attended. We would definitely go back and recommend it to our friends!
Old school Italian that epitomizes “neighborhood gem.” Great place to eat if attending an event at the Beacon Theater. Service was fast, professional and courteous. The homemade pasta is a must, we tried three different dishes, all were spot on. Truly an enjoyable dining experience.
The server was not optimistic about being able to get food prepared plain; i.e chicken cutlet parm with no tomato sauce. But they did make it that way. The linguini with short ribs was okay but nothing great. The pasta was stuck together. The food came very quickly which always makes me suspect that food is prepped to far in advance and is sitting just to be heated up. I have eaten in much nicer places where you feel real good about the meal you had, this place just didn’t do that for me. Not terrible but not great either.
The food is always very good at Coppola's. Our only objection is that the space is very small, and you can't dine comfortably with more than four people.
It never lets me down. I will continue coming back!
The Vodka Penne with Chicken was absolutely amazing!! I would definately recommend Coppola's West to friends!
Terrific wait staff. Delicious fresh food.cozy ambiance, main dishes and deserts presented/plated very well. Will absolutely return!
First and foremost--the food is very, very good and the price point for food and wine is very reasonable. I just discovered this restaurant one month ago and have been there twice now (and it is not in my neighborhood)--and will continue coming. Second, but for the hostess, the service here is also excellent. The waiter checked in regularly to make sure all was well and that our wine glasses were full. Much appreciated. I also love the ambiance here. Very homey which means, of course, sometimes fairly loud. With that said, noise level is manageable and, if noise is a problem for you, suggest coming to dinner around 9pm when many tables start to empty. Ove this place.
Delicious sauce. The stuffed mushrooms were great, as was the veal parmigiana.
Excellent food and great service. Would highly recommend.
There was a horrible draft from the front door which was frequently opened by delievery guys on a very cold night. That was very unpleasant. The food was good but the pasta was fresh made and was rather clumpy as it got cold there at my table. A bit high priced for what you get but a neighborhood favorite for many years.
Great food Good service Polished waiter
Food is on point as always!! What a gem on the UWS!!!
Another great meal with wonderful service. Brought parents here for the first time and it won’t be their last!
As always, our favorite haunt for carbonara when in town. Cozy, romantic, delicious and not too expensive.
Great Italian food and great service. Our go-to place when going to a show at the Beacon!
Always a pleasure! The meals are wonderul and the staff professional.
We were pleased to be arrive for our reservation and be seated immediately. The menu in the restaurant is slightly different from the online menus we found and so we had to rethink our choices prior to ordering. The server was friendly and accommodating. When the meals arrived all three of my friends had enormous portions of food, whereas my plate had about eight small cheese ravioli that didn't even cover the bottom of the plate. My dinner was less than half the size of the other three, but the same price. As we were eating one of the bus boys repeatedly came to the table to ask if we were finished when clearly we were still eating. After about the fifth time we were pretty clear that we were not yet finished and to please give us time to eat. Maybe three minutes later he returned to the table and told us we needed to leave because "the table has a reservation." One friend had not finished her food or her drink, and the rest of us just barely had. When questioned about whether we were being asked to leave he just nodded and smiled and said we had to go now. By no means had we overstayed our time at the table, and the friend mentioned above had to leave behind part of her dinner and her drink because we were ordered out. Between that and my tiny dinner we would not return to this restaurant again.
The food was average. The lobster ravioli with vodka sauce was good but not great. The scallops were not cooked well. Our server was nice but was constantly being signaled by the manager to turn the table. Our reservation was for 5:45 and we felt like we were being rushed out by 6:15. We wanted a nice dinner out but felt like this was on par with an average pizza place.
Neighborhood gem. Very good basic Italian food, homey feeling. Waiter was really nice but slow. If you are not in a rush, sit back and enjoy.
Awesome experience each time
Good old fashion Italian. We got calamari, penne al la vodka and the stuffed spinach and ricotta chicken. Only ask is to have appetizer size portion of pasta.
Great food ! We had a great time
I recommend this place
Excellent food and very friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Well prepared food and helpful, well-meaning staff and waiters.
They have dropped an old favorite from the menu.
COPPOLA'S defines a reliable neighborhood Italian restaurant. Excellent service & always fresh ingredients. Long live COPPOLA'S!
Excellent small neighborhood Italian restaurant ambience, great food and service
Really enjoyed our meal at Coppola's West. The service was excellent, a great atmosphere and easily the best tiramisu I have ever eaten. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the city.
Dependable neighborhood Italian, Service could be better and hostess a bit more personable and efficient
