Bolognese Sauce, Ricotta, Mozzarella & Parmesan Cheese
I love this place so much!
Everything was fantastic as always. I just wish they would lower the lighting in the dining room. It’s always so bright
My favorite restaurant in New York! Best red sauce ever.
Everything was fine. And since there was only 1 other table occupied, we definitely felt safe and nobody rushed us so we were able to have a leisurely lunch. .
The food was amazing and staff was attentive, but about two hours before our reservation, we got a call that the restaurant did not have a liquor license with no explanation why.
My review of this visit is colored by all the other visits I've made here. Where previous visits have been among my best dining experiences ever, this one was more muted and just off in some small way. The Mom's Jumbo Meatball appetizer was a little drier than it's been in the past and the penne with vodka sauce had a little too much pepper in the sauce. The slightly more dour atmosphere is understandable in a post-pandemic world. However, that just means it was a great visit as opposed to one of the most superlative ever. Still one of the best places to eat.
We decided to get away from the Times Square crowd to have Italian food. We found this spot through our search. What a great find!! Food was delicious and at the right portions! Well recommended!!
Beautiful cozy ambiance and amazing servers. Perfect choice for a cozy and quiet meal
Food always amazing and attentive service. Hope they get their liquor license renewed soon!
The pasta tasted fresh and overall everything was delicious. We got the chocolate chip cheesecake which was divine and the tiramisu was tasty. The service was great and making a reservation was easy. Would definitely go back.
Food was delicious. Was a cute, little old-time neighborhood restaurant. Pricey for the amount of food you received. Would have liked to have bread with our meal… or at least to have been offered some.
Food was good but they don’t have a liquor license.
Always great staff food and atmosphere.
This restaurant has no liquor license currently, which we were not told about until we were seated to order. It says nothing on their website or anywhere else in the process of making a reservation, and our server was pretty rude about the issue when we tried to order drinks. They also brought me the wrong meal.
Overall a pretty good experience, though the lack of a liquor license meant no Italian Red Wine with dinner. The food good, just nothing really stood out as a star dish. I’ll be back to give it another try, but thing they’d be best served with some fresh made pasta to elevate the dishes. Service is outstanding, nice inside, small and quiet, great place for a date and or quiet conversation.
I really enjoyed the food. The minestrone soup was just so good. Everything is clearly homemade.
Great NYC atmosphere. Good food and service. Lacked its liquor license at the time we were there.
Thank you for serving a tasty dinner .
The service was great. .
this restaurant called 45 minutes before my reservation to tell me that they lost their liquor license 2 months earlier
This is a neighborhood gem not to be missed. Excellent Italian food, outstanding wait staff. Top dishes: linguini and clams, carciofi salad, baked clams and all pasta dishes!
Copollas West is one of my favorite restaurants on the Upper West Side. Fabulous service, delicious food and quiet place to have a great dinner and conversation when dining with friends.
The Minestrone is absolutely delicious. Salmon is very tasty and come with vegetables and potatoes.
Excellent salad menu choices.
Several delicious dessert options which include Cheese cake,
Apple crumb pie and chocolate cake are a few of the selections.
We were in awe just walking in the door. We were there Friday of Restaurant Week. The hostess, didn’t get name (LONG hair tied back in a ponytail) was so polite saying hello & seating us at our table. When no one was waiting at the door, she came back & helped out the servers by clearing dishes and checking on customers!
Our waitress Norena (probably not spelling that correctly) was high up there on our list of top 10 servers which we started when we were married 44 years ago. We loved her! She was attentive, thoughtful and remembered everything we said the first time.
We will without doubt, come back often to enjoy the food and know we will be treated with kindness and respect.
A neighborhood gem. Classic southern Italian menu served perfectly. It’s not fancy, it’s not elegant, it’s just great.
Quick service on a Sunday night, food portions very nice, all meals were delicious and would come again. Was surprised no alcohol was sold, but that was not an issue for us. Staff very nice and attentive.
Always delicious and as long as we eat outside I’m in. Can’t walk down the steps and so squashed together indoors
NEVER had a bad meal at Coppola's and this time was no exception!
Lovely. Go a lot. Staff was rushed.
Wish they had their liquor license back it be able to bring in bottle.
We liked our salmon dinner, tartuffo and cappuccino for dessert.
The service was excellent and we had relaxed dining experience.
Great neighborhood institution. Authentic and delicious variety of Italian specialties.
This is one of those places that we have walked by a million times and said, "we have to try this one day". Well, the day came. And we were pleasantly surprised.
The eggplant was delicious. The fish, a bronzino special, was delicious. Portions were huge. We ate the fish (really enough for 2), and some of the eggplant and took the rest home. Sides were good. Only issue was that they were unable to sell us any wine because they were waiting for their license renewal, which really is appalling for any restaurant these days. But it sounded like it was not their fault.
The place is in need of a redecoration. Of course, if they were to do that, the prices would have to rise, and the food is very reasonable, so maybe the 1970's heavy decor is just fine, thank you.
Amazing food and cozy atmosphere.
The food was terrible: frozen calamari, gluey pasta.
Very good service and food was pretty good. They were waiting on a liquor license.
Good food and service
Enjoyed the wine, vegetable soup,
Tuna, tartuffo and coffee.
Service was very good .
A repeated dinner spot for myself and my friends.
Like this restaurant!
Consistently good food and service
Coppola's West is always excellent -- the best Italian food in the neighborhood!
The food, service and ambiance were all fabulous.
Coppola's was a warm and wonderful setting to rendezvous
with friends we had not seen for the last fifteen months.
Overall, a superb dinner and evening out.
