As always, wonderful food. Minestrone soup is excellent; tri-color salad is fresh and the beets, walnuts, Gorgonzola, and various greens are all fresh, nicely presented and excellent. We almost always get an order of eggplant parmigiana and fettuccine Bolognese, and as always, they were wonderful. Our go-to Italian restaurant in NYC.
Hit the high notes on everything important to an get together with a friend!
Amazing and romantic.
GREAT food...a bit too crowded, but it was a Sat night.....that was the day of her Birthday! Wouldn't ordinarily go on a Sat night!
Friendly service. Delicious food. Comfortable atmosphere m.
Old school look and feel. Food, service solid, if you happen to be in the neighborhood.
Neighborhood favorite. Super consistent. Great Manager
Always fantastic food with great service...
Food was for tourists who will eat anything. This is NOT fine Italian cuisine, nor is it Italian cuisine, period...Salmon with asparagus was extremely salty, dry and cold..the asparagus was raw and very thick...The meatballs have so much filler & sauce from a bottle that you can't even taste meat & they were cold...warmed up in a microwave...the clams & shrimp were cold. The clams were small shells with some breadcrumb concoction with a small tasteless, chewy clam somewhere...the shrimp were tasteless and the sauce surrounding them was very salty and cold....the eggplant appetizer was cold, drowning in commercial tomato sauce and a lump of melted cheese on top and also cold...warmed in a microwave...the only edible items we ordered was the bread, the prossecco, the coffee and the chocolate mousse cake all of which cost $70 which was pricey....although the manager did not charge for the rest of the food, he and his staff were visibly angry at my comments and we were given the cold shoulder throughout our stay. I left a 20% tip, as the service was acceptable. If you want to eat inedible, pricey food, Coppola's is the place for you and your guests.
have been going here for many years, but the prices seem to be sneaking up. otherwise great food, and friendly staff!
I grew up on the uws and have moved away but this is like come back to a home cooked meal. Never disappoints. Ever.
Solid food- consistent great value it's our go to place
food was delicious service was terrific all and all a great neighborhood place!.
Wonderful cuisine and good staff.. we felt the love!
Got sick from my fish. Should have sent it back.
Fantastic food and service
We enjoyed this very much We are very experienced with excellent and authentic Italian food and this was terrific! The service was great...very attentive and the table was ready when we arrived. It was an enjoyable and efficient experience. We finished in more than enough time to get to our show. We will recommend and be back!
A sleepy kind of place with a tired staff without personality.
For long periods of time. Staff member was banging on something with a loud noise directly behind the booth in which we sat. Restaurant was largely empty.seems like a place on its last legs.
Food was ordinary.
Very Nice place, food was good and the service/staff very friendly and amazing
Nice place. Tables are close, so could be noisy. Food was average but mine was very salty. Good service pleasant waiter and hostess.
My friend had pasta with seafood and it was good but I was very disappointed with my vodka pizza..no flavor at all and the crust was disappointing also.
Added to an outstanding night as we went to the Beacon Theater. Salmon and Chicken Parm prepared to perfection. Courteous and prompt service. A real delight to eat at Coppola's West. Our second time there and we will be back!
Coppola's West is always a great spot for Italian food. Coppola's Penne Vodka dish is, hands down, the best vodka sauce in the city.
They were a little behind but trying. Our reservation was late but it was the snowy day etc. great place for a cozy nice dinner
Our experience was rushed. Wait staff just kept coming and removing our dishes whether done or not. Food was “pre-cooked” and heated before brought to us. How did we know? Order came 5 minutes after we ordered. Pasta was sticky and clumped together.
Atmosphere was great. Small and cozy. Won’t return
The place was perfect for us. "It had good food, it was quiet and everybody minded their own business," a quote from "The Godfather!"
Quaint restaurant. Great food. Perfect for late night meal.
Super nice hostesses.
The food was amazing and we had excellent service!
Lovely place, the lasagna was better then the carmines one. The Moscow mule they served was one of the best ones I’ve had drank before. Amazing food, drinks and ambiance.
We ate at Coppola's before a concert at the Beacon. Great little restaurant with excellent food and service.
I have loved Coppola’s for years, but after this experience I don’t think I will return. Our server took our orders and delivered our bottle of wine, and that was the last we saw him. Also, the dish I normally order was only so-so. There are too many other good restaurants in New York.
Awful service. My husband and I felt like we were at a diner. Food was rushed. Waiter was nasty. My husband had a terrible chicken dish. We complained to management on our way out and they were very defensive. What an unprofessional place. Stay away.
Food and service were exceptional, we will continue to frequent. Thanks for the great meal and great service.
Lovely neighborhood restaurant.
Consistently good food and service.
I brought my cousins from out of town and they were very pleased .
Dine here regularly with many friends.
Really liked this cozy Italian on the UWS...we went right after a show at The Beacon so it's a perfect spot for an after-show bite. It's small and cozy, food is good, ambiance is nice.
quick & very good service. delicious food.. a little pricey
Other than having to wait 15-20 minutes for our reservation, it was a good meal. Local, old-world feel. Friendly staff.
Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Loved my Chicken Toscana!!! We will definitely be putting Coppola’s on our go to list.
Great cozy Italian restaurant. Great food and terrific service!
Uninspired food and wines. The lasagna was a pile of of molten cheese over diner-quality noodles and filling. Wines tasted like they came from jugs - or the discount section of Trader Joe’s. Not going back.
