Coppin's - Hotel Covington
Being used to the high quality of the Chicago fine dining experience, we were shocked to have a meal of equal sophistication outside of a major urban area. The room is incredibly well decorated & comfortable, the service highly professional yet friendly, and the culinary creativity and presentation was second to none.....bravo Coppin’s!
Love everything about this place! Service, food, atmosphere all fantastic. Plan to come back again and again!
Never disappointed. Great food and cool atmosphere! Enjoyed our bday dinner with friends.
The $17 burger was inedible. There was gristle in it. I ordered the soup on special instead and it wasn’t very good, especially for $12 per bowl. My friends were happy w their choices, though. I’ve been there for their weekend brunch, which is wonderful. They don’t offer brunch on the day we were there. Too bad!
Always top notch. My favorite in NKY
Good food, attentive but not intrusive service, noise level hovering around the point of discomfort. Expensive evening. Would dine there again but not on a regular basis, given the overall expense.
Kirsten was our waitress ✅she gave us great recommendations
We have been to Coppin's three times during the Holidays. Each time was as good as the first. Everyone is so friendly. Service is top notch. And the food was absolutely wonderful. And dessert, oh my!!!!!!!
Wonderful experience all the way around.
This place is always an amazing experience.
Really great food and lovely service. Overall awesome place and no complaints
The decor is cool. So they put the music at 7pm at our end near our dining table destroying any conversation possible at dinner time. Entertaining should start at 8pm or in a separate area. Terribly overloud making it hard to even order. The poor staff. The waitress was suppose to get back with me about a substitute but never did. Probably too loud for her too.
We dined on Christmas night and it was a very enjoyable meal! The ambiance is very nice and cozy for an evening out! The food was delicious, a small menu but very delicious!
I love the atmosphere and the esthetics of the hotel and the restaurant. The menu is somewhat limited and needs to be expanded. There needs to be soft breads for the sandwiches (everything had a hard crust). Overall I don’t have an issue with the pricing BUT $4.00 for tea is too much.
Our family (husband, two older sons and myself) ate at Coppin's on Christmas Eve. We've had dinner and brunch here several times. Our server, the seating hostess, the bartender were all outstanding. The food was delicious and the cocktails were creative and fun. We enjoyed our dinner in the sunroom and then moved to the bar area for an after-dinner drink. The ambience in the bar/lobby is one of the best in the Cincinnati area!
The only negative was it was a bit chilly in the glass enclosed area we were. Food was great. The Nashville hot chicken was very good
A nice little gem located in the renovated Hotel Covington. It hits the mark with local flavors with a fresh outlook. The cocktails are well made and mixed to perfection. This is a great place for a special occasion or dinner with the girls.
I really like the food options at Coppins but believe the preparation and delivery of food to be very slow. This time, I ordered vegetable frittata and the first frittata I received contained a small piece of onion and a little cheese. The second frittata our server brought to me contained two small pieces of broccoli in the top of the frittata. I have had the frittata on previous visits for brunch and each frittata I have ordered had plenty of veggies. Not sure if our server conveyed to the kitchen that the first frittata only had a small piece of onion. If so, the kitchen didn’t do a good job of correcting the problems with the first frittata. I’ll go again but I hope not to have the same experience the next time we go.
Family holiday outing!
Beautiful setting..very festive!
We chose your restaurant for our office Christmas party. we were a little disappointed when we were given a 1:45 PM reservation and upon arrival told we had only 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. Our meal while very good felt a little rushed, like we were imposing on someone's lunch break.
We girlfriends enjoyed our lunch because we didn’t feel rushed & were able to actually have conversations. I would like to see a few more selections on the menu & not look at so many heavily tattooed arms serving my food.
With new friends or old, Coppins is the perfect place to enjoy good food, excellent service, and lots of ambience.
Love the atmosphere and service was great. We go fairly often and feel the prices are high for what we get. Especially Brunch items. Always good but need a little more for money...
Excellent, all around, as always.
Service was a little slow after we were seated but once it was brought to their attention, the rest went perfectly. Food was terrific, creative and well presented.
My only reasoning in not giving 5 outstanding stars is I went to Santa brunch which was super kid friendly and we had a fabulous time- but the bathrooms do not have a diaper changing station.
Had a delicious get together lunch with two of my best friends. Beautiful atmosphere and festive as other groups were celebrating the holidays and friendship. Our waiter was exceptional as well. Thank you.
Beautiful holiday decorations, great food and our server Aaron was amazing.
Our first visit and thoroughly enjoyed
Coppin's is a great restaurant in the relatively new Hotel Covington. Incredible food with a creative, but not too out there menu. A wonderful place for dining with your date, your family or business associates. The bar is also a great place to meet for drinks or a quite bite. Coppin's is leading the way for the Covington renaissance.
The drinks were great, but were out of their specialty glasses for them so they were served in significantly smaller glasses. We each ordered a burger medium well and mine was raw on the center. After sending it back they thought a new one back equally as raw, but the other person in our parties was cooked perfectly.
Food was underwhelming and very small portions for the money
Work event dinner at Coppins. Service was excellent. Food was ok. The menu is somewhat limited. One persons steak was very undercooked. Cheese on the meat and cheese tray was so hard it was nearly impossible to cut. Rest of the meals were good, wine selections are good too. Great bourbon list.
Outstanding service and wonderful food with fun and creative flavors! Can’t wait to go back.
The only disappointing item was the Malbec you offer by the glass. Worst we ever had you may want to find a better choice.
Fantastic location in the “turned around” area of Covington. Great ambiance from the moment you walk in. Service was great all the way around and the small dining area made for attentive staff that were always there to answer questions and offer suggestions. We will definitely be going back.
We really enjoyed our time at Coppins. Food was yummy and service was friendly. Music too loud and techno.
We had good food and great service. The staff even offered to help with the granddaughter!
No beer alternative to craft beer. Soup was cold, Hamburger was rare and greasy, fries were old, menu selection was limited. Inattentive waitress.
Good food, good server, interesting space, would return.
