    We enjoyed our first experience at Coppins Thanksgiving buffet. A bit expensive, but the food was excellent. The only surprise was that desert options didn’t include pumpkin pie!

    The toys were really good but cold when they came out. I feel it had to do with our service, there was about 40 minutes from our drink and app order to ordering our main food. Our breakfast good however we had to remind the server about an order of bacon 3 times. Never had poor service and won’t stop us from a return trip Loved seeing a dog friendly hotel.

    I think I was given gluten here, despite ordering gluten free. The waitress said the orzo was gf—but that is pasta—which should have been my first warning.

    Brunch on Sunday nov 5, we ordered a pitcher of mimosas with OJ. The waitress brought us a bottle of champagne and a GLASS of OJ. I questioned pouring the OJ into the flute without spilling! She then brought a small pitcher of OJ which was better. We asked for additional OJ, again the small pitcher. When we received our check, we were charged extra $5.00 for the second pitcher. We questioned the charge. Petty, petty Coppin’s…. Never had to assemble the mimosa ourselves. Did your bar not understand “Pitcher”? Have been there several times for brunch and dinner and have always enjoyed ourselves.

    The ambiance was welcoming and the staff were also! It was warm enough to eat outside by the fireplace in early November. Steve gave us great service and we shared 12 oz steak ion special prepared to perfection.

    Great vibe. Beautiful place. Great crowd. In a great hotel. Ordered Pan Seared Barramundi. Over-seasoned. Too spicy for fish. There were whole cloves in my rice. Not sure I’ve ever seen this before. Had to pick them out. Wife had filet. Decent. Nice red wine reduction. Brown Butter Cornbread. Awful. Go back to basics on this. Nice bourbon on the rocks. Great selection.

    I've been in the Covington area for over a week and this restaurant is the highest quality of food I have had so far. Would definitely go again if I am back in the area. There seasonal Pumpkin Bread Pudding was the best bread pudding I have had in my life.

    Great place for Sunday brunch. Nice twist on old favorites in a very pleasing space, Servers were pleasant although there was some mix up over who our server was. Food was quickly prepared and very tasty.

    The menu isn’t expansive for breakfast. I asked about a drink menu and the server said that started at 10, although other tables were ordering bloody Mary’s. Just an ok experience and I’ve been prior and had much better experiences

    Wonderful experience. Pricey. A $4.50 iced tea seemed really pricey. We had $150 brunch for 4. Without alcoholic beversges. Parked in their garage. Restaurant does not validate parking. Incurred a 6.00 parking fee.

    If you were going to order from the main dishes at brunch, sharing, or be prepared to take leftovers home. The portion sizes are very large. We shared the Porkopolis omelette and it was fantastic. We ordered it with the roasted potatoes and they were spectacular. We also shared the chorizo and grits with feta cheese, à la cart dish, which was large enough to share, especially with our main entrée and it was likewise very delicious. My only drawback was the coffee. We ordered the regular coffee and it was OK but if you really want to have a spectacular brunch, French press coffee has got to be an option. If they add that to this menu, then I would give them five stars.

    My wife and I stayed at Hotel Covington and had an anniversary brunch at Coppin's. The food was quite good, and the value was impressive given the normal charges of a hotel restaurant. Would recommend to anyone!

    I have celiacs and the waitress made me feel very comfortable! Most things can be made gluten free but above and beyond that they cleaned the grill and took my illness very seriously. I will be back!
