Great time, awesome food and drinks
When I arrived at the restaurant I approached the hostess station to check in for the reservation that I had made. To my surprise there was not a table available and after waiting for something to open up I ultimately left the restaurant to go elsewhere.
Food was pretty good. Service was unbelievably terrible.
Very good, casual Southie hangout. Food is good and service is good. Waited a bit for drinks but the waitress was very nice about it.
We had three groups of 6 that we wanted to accommodate for a birthday. We tried calling in advance and the staff was incredibly rude over the phone. Then the day of, we were treated rudely once again. All three tables only saw our waitress 2-3 times the entire 90 minutes we were there. They forgot food, took their time with drinks and ultimately did a very bad job.
The food itself was good. Won’t be back
This was a much needed Bois night and Coppersmith delivered! We were pleased with the customer service, the food, how quickly we got our food, the drinks and the overall scenery. Thank you! I will be back!
We went to Coppersmith for afternoon drinks and apps. The guac and pizza were great. They have a nice outdoor seating area and the service was good too.
Waitress on roof deck completely ignored us after being seated. Waited 15 minutes at our table and witnessed her going to a table of six that sat down 10 minutes after us. Rewind back 30 minutes as we waited at reception being told the roof seating wasn’t ready yet. A group of seven walked up 5 minutes later and she waved them right up. We then waited 10 more minutes to be escorted up to the rooftop. Guess it’s who you know...Complete amateurs & apparently ownership doesn’t care bc the same complaints are all over Yelp.
Food was good! Our Waitress Ana took 15 min to come say hello and was not seen again for 20 min and didn’t check in with us at all but it’s okay!
Sheila and Michelle are the best in all of southie!
Service was awful, I spilled a drink and waited 25 minutes before our waitress came over to bring us napkins and help clear the table. Super loud. Good food but service and ambiance were not great.
The food was delightful.... the drinks were SUPERB
Really dark. Servers never came around to check in so we could order more drinks. I tried ordering a Caesar salad, but they didn't have any left. Didn't give us any silverware for our meal, then gave me plastic silverware for a steak. Drinks were good, but the experience was terrible aside from that.
Not worth the money to any extent.
horrible service, hostess was nice and accommodating but the server didn’t even care didn’t put our plates
or silverware, didn’t ask about how our food was or if
we wanted another drink, was very disappointed as i have been here in the past and had such a great time, but this time was just awful
Had a great time here.
Extremely disappointing experience. The food was terrible, French toast was burned, the rice in the burritos seemed old and stale. Drinks were small and expensive, and without able to use glasses, the sangria should be off the menu. We paid $60 for what looked like a bottle of pedialyte. Will not be returning
Under staffed, waited a long time for drinks. Gave us a salted rim with a beer??????? Sent it back to bartender, returned with salted rim again. Disappointment overall, waiter was so nice and that was the only redeeming quality of this place. Do not recommend.
The wait staff was amazing. I think her name was Emily. She was our waitress and she super helpful and nice. Terri was also very attentive. The food and drinks were very good. Had an amazing time
Huge outdoor patio with lots of space between tables. Inside look spacious as well. Upscale pub food with good beer list and cocktails.
the menu on opentable is wrong :( but overall a delicious menu with amazing staff
I live close and like how open this place is so I always want to like it. The food is mediocre at best and overpriced for what it is. You can only get the brunch menu on the weekend until late in the day. Went with friends to watch the games and couldn’t get pizza or wings because it was too early in the day (2pm)
Always understaffed and service is sub par as a result
Servers weren’t wearing masks
Server wasn’t around a lot, had to have host give us water. Also none of the bartenders where wearing their masks properly or at all.
Nice outdoor seating available and distanced well.
Checked in for our reservation got seated pretty immediately, was greeted 15 mins later with waters and was told a server would be right over 20 mins later after seeing the sub par food and drinks (and service) throughout the restaurant we up and left. Went to capo and had a much better experience.
Service was brutal. almost had to leave without paying as waitress left us for 45+ minutes after putting in drink orders. We had to walk up to bar our selves to pay the tab and go to publico.
Was disappointed because I used to enjoy getting drinks here before COVID. I didn’t request outdoor dining but was seated outside in the back parking lot, so not a great ambience. The apps we got were very average and our waitress rarely visited our table so it was hard to get drink orders in. I would definitely opt for a different Southie spot next time.
Nice place for a casual dinner. Love the outdoor patio seating, it’s really nice inside too.
Service was swift, food was decent. We ordered veggie burger, grilled chicken BLT, chicken lettuce wraps, buffalo cauliflower & chips & guac. Portions are good sized & we ordered a little too much for the 3 of us! I wish they’d add a few more lettuce leaves to the lettuce wraps - there were only 2 or 3 small ones & we had lots of leftover chicken. Will try their pizza next time.
Edit: saw a bunch of 1 star reviews. Just a reminder that they’re still understaffed because of Covid19 and if service is lacking or servers sound rude, give them a break. They’re working under trying conditions! The restaurant has expanded their outdoor seating a lot & I’m sure the staff is doing the best they can. Things will get better I’m sure.
We sat there for one hour and only had 1 drink and our apps and saw our server once, we waited another 30min and finally got the check and left because the service was so poor. Our friend that joined us didn’t even get one drink. Not the coppersmiths I know.
Overpriced for small servings
Server did not refill waters, wanted to order another bar drink, and server did not appear until it was time for the check
Great outdoor atmosphere. Unfortunately the service is very poor. The hostess was rude and not helpful even when we had a reservation. Additionally, the waitresses seemed to be working very hard but 30-40 minutes would go by without them checking on you. We would have to flag them down for more drinks. The food was great in concept but out of the 8 out us, 3 had under cooked dishes.
Wait staff and host staff were extremely rude. Took about 45 minutes to get a drink after we ordered. Had to ask 3 people to get us plates and the hostess was extremely rude about it. Would not recommend.
Worst experience. The food, drinks, and service are all awful.
Double date night, really nice waitress and good selection of food and drinks. Decently priced and food came out pretty quickly and was hot even though they have a huge outdoor seating area that was mostly full. Good experience!
A lot more space than I anticipated them having, very fun environment outdoors. I liked the tables with their own little light to turn on when it got darker out.
Was looking forward to their full menu, only have a small limited menu right now. Food and service was great but entree selection was lackluster
Pizza is BOMB
Not a very busy day at the restaurant but the service certainly didn’t reflect that. The waitress didn’t even apologize once I think she simply didn’t care. Had a group of us and a few of us received food a good 10-15 minutes before the remaining people in our group. We had to ask twice for silverware and ask about 5 times for our coffees. Used to love this place, not sure what happened.
