The ambience was nice. Chicken and waffles were awfully dry. Overly expensive for what you get.
We had a reservation scheduled and the host was taking over 15 minutes to seat us. We walked out because the service was so poor even before sitting down. This was on a Friday night, we were disappointed with the experience.
Great place and food with appreciated parking options.
Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had dining. Not trying to be a jerk but they didn’t come over and serve us or offer drinks
Not a place to eat or converse. It’s a loud bar which happens to serve food.
Only pizza before 5 so that’s what we got. Absolutely fantastic!!
The bartenders were amazing! They were kind and made great conversation. Once seated, the food took over two hours to get to our table. One meal arrived at the table 20 minutes before everyone else's and had to be sent back because it was incorrect and cold.
Our party of 3 went to dine at Coppersmith for brunch on a Sunday. We had a reservation for 11:15 and were stuck standing at the entry for 10min after our reservation time before being acknowledged by any staff.
We were then seated and when we tried to order coffee, there was apparently a problem with the coffee machine...at a brunch place...which our server didn't seem to think was much of an issue. We ordered and after a long wait, the food finally came out. It was all cold and very greasy from sitting around. We informed our server of this and they went to speak with the manager. Also, when we asked for salt and pepper for the food, they said "We don't have pepper." They were finally able to determine that the heating lamps were not functioning in the kitchen. The coffee came after 45min and after the food had arrived.
We very much understand that restaurants are short-staffed, but this experience did not meet minimum dining standards.
In the end our server was very apologetic and our entire meal was comped (we still left a tip) so we appreciate management's efforts to make things right.
Given that they had so few employees the staff did an exceptional job
I have no idea how the kitchen was running but the food was just ok…
The food was just ok. Service was just ok. The place is nice.
We had the best brunch at coppersmith. We were coming from a hike with our dog and the hostess at the front absolutely made our day by letting him come in and sit by our table while we ate. The staff here is so friendly and kind! Our food was great too, but the service was above and beyond!
Had a reservation but waited an hour for the table. Food was awful but at least it was cold. It was extremely loud in the restaurant. Impossible to have a conversation. Would never go back.
Food was good, had a great selection of beverages for every taste. It was a Saturday night when we were there, they have no separation between the bar and the restaurant. The bar was filled with college students at similar 20 somethings. Very loud and great atmosphere for a bar but not so much for dinner.
Had to wait over 40 minutes for our table, even though we arrived on time for the reservation. Service was slow.
Service was slow and entrees were served piecemeal
Coppersmith is the best! I love the warehouse/industrial vibe of the restaurant. High ceilings, garage doors that they open up, and great lighting. Their brunch has a wide menu variety and the breakfast burrito is delicious. Staff is so friendly and inviting. I'll be back time and time again with friends :)
We went there for my wife’s birthday. The food was amazing and very quick. The server took our appetizer and drink order when we sat down and literally never came to meet with us. So we never ordered any other food we just paid somebody else and left… strange service.
Went for a late night dinner… incredibly busy and even though we made reservations we had to wait 30 more mins. Our waitress was AMAZING! She took care of us even on a very busy night. would love to go back again maybe on a not so crazy night haha
First, the lack of accordance with the city’s mask mandate was disgusting. We came on time for our reservation at 7:15PM and were seated, but waited 30 minutes until we were greeted by a member of the wait staff. We were unfortunately seated near the entrance, where there was a long line of maskless people spitting and smoking. We ordered our drinks and food, but our drinks were lost and we only received them at 8:15PM when our food came out after hunting down our waitress. We ordered the steak tips well done, and they came out medium rare. We informed our waitress that we didn’t even want to order a replacement at this point as we didn’t want to wait another hour for food. At this point we had completely lost the desire to be there and were desperately trying to get our check so we could pay and leave. I politely walked up to the area where the wait staff were congregated printing checks, and asked if I could revive the check. Two members of the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional, first ignoring my request and then one told me to sit down as they were extremely busy and couldn’t help me. I had only been to Coppersmith once before, and I won’t be going again. This was an awful experience.
Watch out for the mice! :(
The food was good. We are the type of people who look at a menu before dining and several of the menu items that they have listed online were no longer on the current menu so that was a little disappointing. We are visiting from out of town, probably would not recommend for someone visiting but overall a good experience.
My family had a great, low key meal here. We all really liked our meals. The waitress was really nice. I recommend it if you’re already in the area.
Our server was fantastic and attentive, but kitchen didn’t get our order correct which meant my son didn’t get his food served at the same time as the family. Food was good and place was fun, overall decent experience.
I don’t think I’ve ever been as underwhelmed by a restaurant experience in my whole life. Came here for brunch, ordered cocktails that were overly sweet and like something you get at a Fridays or Chili’s.
We ordered our food, and then a bottle of wine since you can’t mess up wine, but it turns out you can.
The food was bland, overpriced for what was given, and lacked any sort of appeal.
The wine came un-chilled, and served in tacky stemless wine glasses like we were at a backyard bbq. Thank god we ordered it because we needed the alcohol to wash down the bad food, and bad experience.
Was super disappointed because I’d always heard good things about this place, and although the service was satisfactory, the rest of the experience felt like I was eating food in a college dining hall.
Drinks were not that great and menu was simple
This was a 80s/90s themed brunch. It was super fun and I wish they would do it every weekend. The food is fine. The space is great. Our waitress was attentive and friendly.
Great . Chicken wings was okay . Buffalo cauliflower was bomb.
Service took extremely long. The kitchen never cooked our food, so we had to leave without receiving our food. Server never came back to check if we needed another drink or to make sure we got our food
Service poor and slow, menu also completely different online than when we got there. Disappointing.
Service was good but already very loud by 7:15 and lost my voice yelling across the table to my friends.
Amateur hour! Food sucks, but if you are 22 and drunk it’s probably good.
Very fun place. Rooftap deck is very nice. Note: very young crowd - we seemed to be the only ones overy 30 in the whole place! Drinks and food were very good - I had a great burger and some of the best fries I ever had.
Service was initially very poor - we were seated and never waited on, even after repeated flagging down waitstaff and one even told the front desk. This went on for about half an hour. We finally moved ourselves to another table that seemed to have more active waitstaff and were able to order, but only after we proactively flagged down a waitress. Not sure what's going on with their process, but definitely something needs attention. When we finally did secure a waitress, however, she was very good and we enjoyed our meal.
Francesca was a great server, especially for our rambunctious group!
Fine. Exactly what one would expect Rises to adequate
Really fun place to go with friends/family. Went on the 4th of July and the staff was really nice and accommodating.
Could tell the restaurant was understaffed. Long wait for everything. Food was delicious and servers were working hard to keep up.
we had a gift certificate to use-and it was so worth it. we had our two kids with us-(who eat for free on the weekends)-who knew? the service was great-the food was good and we had a great experience. highly recommend!
21st birthday. Had a table, saw the first server only once—she disappeared. Finally grabbed another one who was apologetic & nice. By that time, she could only serve us drinks—no food. That was disappointing. Overall, Coppersmiths has a great vibe & we had a fun night celebrating. The free parking made life really easy!
I loved it! The food was good all the staff was very kind and the aesthetic was nice. I just wish the price was a bit lower for some of the entrees
