Great restaurant. Nice vibe and the Ricotta and Vodka was the best dish I have eaten in a long time. The service was great and the restaurant was within walking distance of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this place.

Tracie, our waitress was wonderful-she met our every need. Children’s food was served before the adults which was very helpful so the meal time went smoothly. Every person at the table said their meal was delicious. A complimentary birthday dessert was shared and was appreciated. Great dining experience.

I eat at the Coppermill every time I go through Kearney. Fantastic Steak, Martini, Wine, and Outlaw Cocktail is the best. Kylie is the best!

Fillet was great, salad was beautiful. App was good. Order Dewards to drink, but need really bad and was just bar scotch is my guess. Refused to comp as we would not drink them.

We were visiting the University of Nebraska Kearney for the weekend & stopped in for a dinner. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She always made sure we had everything we needed, and answered any questions that we had. I tried the blackened Kansas City strip, Caesar Salad, & blackened cauliflower. All were delicious.

My friends had the filet and farmers bowls. Both mentioned how good their meals were.

We'll be back next time we're in town.

Our first time at Coppermill. Our table was waiting for us, not too crowded for a Friday night. Nice twist on some of our favorites like blackened cauliflower and mustard seasoned Brussel sprouts. Steaks both cooked correctly and good flavor. We will be back soon!

Spectacular steak house. Great selection, very tasty appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts. I usually get the special because it is always just unbelievably good. Highly recommend! - But get reservations if you are going on a Friday or Saturday night because everyone else is going there too.

We made our reservation online and when we got to the restaurant, they said they didn’t write it down. They were full and we would have to wait 50 minutes for a table. We left.

The service was amazing. Very attentive but not over bearing. The food was outstanding. The ribeyes were cooked to perfection. The only thing that could have a negative spin was that it was quite chilly in the restaurant that night. Other than the temperature, everything was phenomenal.

Have ate here before and have always had an amazing steak. This time, the steak just seemed different. It was a let down compared to other times.

Thought it was a very nice experience for a special evening. Staff very friendly, food and drinks all very good! Will go back for a special evening out!

Steaks weren't the best better steak for 1/2 the price Texas roadhouse

Came in for my birthday. Red was our waiter he was very nice but needed trained for better service. We ordered 2 rib eyes and one was a new York strip but red didn't seem to want to take it back. The ny strip was very dry. Reservation was at 6pm and out of baked potatoes on a Saturday. I believe that's unacceptable for the level of restaurant you are. Red said he had a treat for my birthday but never brought it. Table was so small barely any room for our plates and glasses. Red also took my martini glass back to be reused for my second martini. I find that strange maybe just your practice.

Surpised that many of servers and staff did not wear masks. Only some of patrons entered with masks. Restaurant seemed weak on current health concerns and we were obviously the age to ask if we were comfortable.



Food very high quality but waited too long for food and was not at correct temperature when it arrived. Had to send potatoes back because cold.

Hoped for better experience in these Covid times.

The soup was brought out cold. The cornbread crumbled upon touching and was, therefore, inedible. They really, really need to taste their own salads. The lettuce they are using is bitter and the salad overall is a dismal attempt and served on too small of a plate.

The steak, potatoes and asparagus were great and cooked correctly, but the ricotta dumpling dish was gummy and overall too rich to eat more than a few of the dumplings.

It was just overall a lazy attempt. Someone needs to be watching how the food goes out and actually try tasting it themselves. I would not need to eat there again.

Incredibly great steaks! Super yummy selection of appetizers, drinks, desserts and salads. Good value. We loved it and for sure will dine there again. Highly recommended! Two thumbs up.

Prime rib stroganoff for $20 had very few indications of prime rib. The few pieces i found were very thin slices of meat that were reminiscent of older lunch meat😯

Stopped on an overnight stay in Kearney,Bartender Matt was great, waitress Allaura was over the top in the customer service department as well as her bar tending and server skills. Who knew Kearney NE would hold such a fine dining establishment. The salmon and prime rib were outstanding.

When we arrived, there were flowers, candles, and formal linens on our table. The hostess and our server wished us a happy anniversary. The food was wonderful and our server was fantastic! Very pleased. Really went above and beyond..will definitely be back.
