Wasn’t absolutely horrible, but wouldn’t go back. Service was lacking... waited too long to get our drink order (which arrived wrong the first time) and our food. Waiter could have been more attentive throughout meal. Had to ask for a dessert menu, was not offered one. Restrooms were dirty, but someone was promptly sent to attend to them when we mentioned it. There are too many good restaurants in the city to revisit this one, in my opinion.
Delicious food, personal service and a really cool atmosphere.
The food was really outstanding for the price. Location is great, great beer and wine selection. Service was very, very slow (our server had the entire patio as well as the high tops inside). There was also a bone in my duck flatbread, but it was extremely tasty so I didn't complain too much.
Great food and great location. Sitting outside was so nice!
Great meal and super staff. Will be back to try the great wine selection.
We went for an early Valentine’s dinner as Copper Vine Wine Pub has quickly become our favorite pre Pelican spot . Also for happy hour .
The service is excellent , welcoming and professional .
Our server Taylor was all of the above and then some .
Chef Mike Brewer has a variety of choices for every eater and occasion .
Food was adequate. Best thing we tried was fig & goat cheese flatbread. We were the only table upstairs. The Cabernet blend was really nice!
Good location, decent food, cool atmosphere. Good vegetarian options.
Went for brunch on Sunday. We startred by Ordering a charcuterie board. They had more spring mix on the board to dress it up then actual food. The cheese was barley the size of a quarter. The had an ok amount of meat but could def add more cheese there was hardly any. The entrees we ordered were delicious (shrimp and grits and crabcake Benedict) with a good portion. I would recommend this place but I think they could work on their charcuterie board esp. being a wine bar.
The service provided by Christopher was lovely and the food was delightful. We will certainly return!
We tried the Copper Vine Wine Pub on a Saturday evening. We first ordered a flight of three Pinot Noirs to share. All of their wines are on tap, two of the three wines tasted old and not fresh. We then ordered the duck fat fries. I was hoping for fresh cut, but they appeared to have been frozen. My wife ordered the wild mushroom pasta, she said it was okay, but nothing special. I ordered the bouillabaisse, what a mistake. I normally love bouillabaisse, but this wasn't it. First it was mostly vegetables, with a small piece of fish and 4 tiny shrimp, no clams or mussels. It was served in a bowl and then, rather than pouring on a rich broth, they poured a thick tomato based sauce, that tasted nothing like it should and was so thick, it didn't flow into the mixture it sat around the edge. The good thing was our waitress removed it from my bill (I also barely ate any of it, which might have clued her in that I didn't care for it).
Good food and atmosphere! Short rib was amazing
Nice place to go after work or for a place with friends.
Food portions small, long wait for food most dishes ordered where too salty
Such a cute spot! We sat outside and loved our experience. Love that they offer half glasses to try a variety as well
Had a great time! I took my girlfriend and it was our first time there. We both enjoyed it and will be returning!
Loved going to Copper Vine for "Happy Hour", but now they are open for lunch. Wonderful service matches the food.
Great brunch! Delicious food and cocktails
Food was mediocre, “heirloom” tomato salad was really hot house tomato that tasted old. Appetizers came before our first drinks did. They were out of the wine I ordered, i also asked what sparkling wine was available and the waitress said “Prosecco” however i follow them on social media and expected them to have Veuve Clicquot based on their posts... didn’t bring us water until we requested it. Crab omelette was supposed to have crispy Serrano ham, it had none. Terribly disappointed.
Our server was phenomenal! Very knowledgeable about the menu, personable and funny. He’s great! Food was also very tasty (we especially loved the huge serving of Brussels sprouts and the beet salad) one sour note- We were sat upstairs in an empty dining room on a Saturday night while many tables downstairs in the more “fun” part of the restaurant remained open, which was a bummer to walk by those tables and then be seated in the “exile room” upstairs. Sort of made us feel like the open tables downstairs were reserved for better customers or something, it was a weird way to start the night and the hostess was so oblivious to it. The private party next door was either too large for the space or too rowdy for a restaurant atmosphere because we were overwhelmed with their shouting and noise levels. We totally understand you can’t control that all the time, and truly we were about to leave and just go elsewhere, but the server totally turned it around for us and we had a great time. Just something to note for the future, that perhaps larger parties (more than 4) would be more comfortable upstairs in a more quiet empty space or perhaps one larger table would be be less bothered by the large private party, vs a table of 3. When we came downstairs two tables of 3–4 that we saw when we arrived were still empty. Overall though, we are looking forward to coming back!
Good wine selection. Food was solid. Will be back. A little dark on the patio. The outside heater was clutch.
My only complaint is that I requested an outside table but once I got there the restaurant indicated they couldn't honor my request which was disappointing.
Food was delicious as was the wine and atmosphere. Only thing is it took a little longer than normal. Enjoyed the company so it wasn’t a problem.
Lovely experience. Menu to die for - has trouble picking just a few entrees. Recommend the duck flat bread!
Great!!!! Can’t wait to go back
Amazing experience- highly recommend! 5 star in every category!
Overpriced brunch for NOLA. Unlimited brunch cocktails are twice the price of most restaurants. Food is good, nothing outstanding, but received room temp. Our waiter, although, was extremely helpful and quite diligent.
A great affordable fine dining experience! The wine was good and the food was so tasty.
This was our second visit and was as good as our first. We had the air-fried brussel sprouts and the duck confit flatbread pizza - both amazing. We were there during happy hour and got a half price bottle of red wine from their tap wine. We had an excellent zinfandel and a great cabernet last time. We love the location and the atmosphere. Also, there is a nice patio for dining and sipping wine. We will be back!!
It's new, only open for a few months. Our party of four liked most of the things that we tried, but no one thought the food was outstanding. The concept does seem to have potential and probably deserves a second visit. Short rib was very good, but the parmesan potato side was a mess. The fried chicken fricassee was very good, though seeing the chicken turn out to be chicken tenders was a little disconcerting. Duck fries and a Brussel sprout app were enjoyable. Service was still spotty with wine that we hadn't ordered brought to the table and 3 fo 4 entrees arriving together while the 4th showed up more than 5 minutes later. All in all, a must try if you are a wine drinker, but the overall quality of the food is still a work in progress
My family attended Sunday brunch here and we had a good experience. There are some very interesting dishes on the menu and enough variety so there was something for everyone. We enjoyed the popcorn bar! The portions are small, even for the entrees. The price point is reflective of that, so it is not really a value. The beet salad and beignets were delicious. Overall, we all enjoyed our entrees, though I was wishing I had ordered more to start with.
We really enjoyed. Our server was super sweet, but new, wasn't able to answer questions about food or wine, but was always willing to ask, which we appreciated. It filled up fast and got a little chaotic and loud, so it was a little hard to hear. Food was excellent, especially the apps and salad, as was the wine. The plates came out all at once before our shares were finished, so it was a little crowded at the table, but we didn't feel rushed, even though there was a full house.
We chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. This is our first time in New Orleans.
It was quiet inside not very crowded. I loved my food. My only disappointment was the serving sizes. My husband and I were just not used to such small portions. This is the third restaurant we visited since being in New Orleans, I can’t say that it is our favorite.
Amazing experience from food to wine to service. Definitely going back.
Great charcuterie board, and yummy cocktails @brunch. My son enjoyed his escargot flatbread, and my wife and I enjoyed the duck hash. Thought the service was a little slow and... un-enthusiastic.
This restaurant was amazing! First time there.. the food was great, the drinks were wonderful but most of all the place was gorgeous!!! Our waiter clay was fantastic! Great spot!
Always very nice for small bites and great wine selection
I made the reservation about 2 weeks in advance and requested a table upstairs for 4. It was Saints game day and the venue was packed (to be expected) so when we were seated downstairs we didn’t make a fuss. We sat at 12:45 and ordered the charcuterie board. At 1:00 we ordered 3 flatbreads. At 1:30 we had still not received our charcuterie board or flat breads. We received or 3 flatbreads at 1:45 and never received the charcuterie board.
Really enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere!
Chad, our server was outstanding
I made reservations for 3 people ahead of time. Upon arrival the hostess proceeded to take us upstairs and out on the balcony where no one else was sitting and the temperature was 57 degrees— oh and there was absolutely no heaters at all whatsoever. I have dined here before but never again. Too bad for them that I live in the neighborhood and hoped this would be a “go to” regular spot for us. When challenged for an alternative seating spot we were told it would be another 30-45 minutes before another table would be available. Oh no I’m not waiting when I booked a table in advance. Bye Felecia!
