   We had an outstanding experience here at Copper Rock. We are originally from Indianapolis and have been struggling to find a great fine dining establishment in the area. Copper Rock exceeded our expectations. Our drinks and food were perfect and service was great. We are happy we found this place and will be returning often.

   The baked potato and the filet seemed to have a bit more salt than normal. I have always thought that you can add more salt, but cannot take it out.

   The food and service was amazing. I wish I had known how large the sides were. My husband and I both ordered mashed potatoes. The portions were enough for three or four people.

    This establishment is top notch other than how they greeted us at the front desk. My girlfriend is foreign, when the man checked her identification he made it seem like she wouldn’t be able to enter. We were all a bit unnerved by this only to find out that he was taking his time at stating that she would not be able to drink. All that aside our waitress was delightful and the food and atmosphere was amazing. Dry aged ribeye was the best I’ve had in the area.

    Service was extremely poor. All food was served cold. Food was also brought out on carts with items close to bottom of cart unsanitary! Wait time for food was excessively long. Other copper rock locations are fantastic but this one was horrible.

    I have dined at the Copper Rock in New Buffalo many times and never had any complaints. l'm not much of a drinker but always enjoy a glass of house Cabernet with dinner. It was never more than $10.00. I ordered a glass at South Bend not thinking about asking the price and it was $20.00. I thought maybe my server had made a mistake so I asked her about it.She said they were out of the usual Cab and had to go with a higher price brand. I was staying at the hotel for two days so the next day I went to the casino bar and the house Cab was $8.00 a glass. The atmosphere at the Copper Rock was nice but not $12.00 a glass better.

    A fine dining restaurant in the South Bend area. If you're looking for a relaxed and incredible meal, Copper Rock is the place to go. I have enjoyed a number of wonderful meals around the country, and this restaurant serves one of the best I've experienced. Enjoy!

    We had been to Copper Rock in New Buffalo. This CR well out does the original. Service and attention to detail were fantastic. From Fury taking care of the basics, Natalie our super waitress and the manager attending to us, everything was fabulous. Will definitely go back. Love the fact the the bar is MUCH larger than the one in New Buffalo.

    Ordered the special red grouper pan seared. It was delicious. My husband had the double pork chop, it’s his favorite there. Had a black Cherry margarita. Definitely recommend. Service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

    Only negative is that it’s inside of a casino. Easily best steakhouse in our area. Ruth’s Chris is good, but that’s all we had for many years before Copper Rock. And not that Copper Rock is new, but it is new to us. We never wanted to go because of the casino vibe, but we kept hearing great reviews. Just hold your breath through the cigarette smoke while entering and exiting the casino. Other than that it’s a great restaurant and much needed in South Bend.
