Really enjoyed the duck nachos, the steaks, and the shepherd's pie croquettes - yum!
The food was excellent. Staff and atmosphere was so pleasant.
We were seated in the bar area so the bartender was our waiter. We were on our way to the Symphony so didn't want anything heavy . We ordered salads with four extra sides of crab cakes and a glass of wine. Our bill without tip was $75!
We were never asked if we wanted bread or crackers with our food. When I asked, I was told "well, it doesn't come with THAT!" and to get some would be an additional $5. I ordered a "side of bread" but we finished before it came out so I cancelled it.
Waiter never refilled out water glasses or asked if we needed another glass of wine. One item on our bill was charged higher than posted on the menu so we asked for a correction. Waiter made some excuse and protest but did adjust the bill.
Others around us seemed to get faster and better service even those who came after us. Food was pretty good although I think the crab cakes need to be cooked more so they are crispy on the outside. We won't order those again.
Over all this could be a nice place to dine but prices for entrees are too high for most people and service was disappointing.
Music was fantastic and the food was good.
Absolutely wonderful service! Perfect spot for a low key intimate date night. Food was superb from wine, appetizer, main course through dessert. We will definitely be back and want to share experience with some of our friends.
Disappointed!! Reviews were good. Menu looked amazing but service was slow and I felt that my food was tasteless and dry. Others in my party enjoyed it more but nothing we ordered was outstanding.
Very good food and service. Reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend.
Great dinner. Had a wonderful birthday. Nice ambiance. Will go again.
New Year’s Eve Reservation. Understaffed and overwhelmed by the occasion. Drinks took FOREVER and our server was vocal on his displeasure with the bartenders. At one point he was crying. Food was good and has a nice ambiance, just needs better management.
We were just passing through. We loved it. We had the Qual Legs. Our son who is 9 loved it. The Duck is so tender. Hidden Gem for sure. Location is a little odd but overall a great place to enjoy in Amarillo.
It was good but it took a long time to get drinks and food once we ordered.
I had one of the nicest filet mignons I ever had, and done just perfectly. It came with a green garlic sauce that they gave me the recipe for (parsley, cilantro, olive oil, garlic, red wine vinegar, and honey - yummy). My wife had a nicely done medium rare strip steak which she loved. We will go back on our next run through Amarillo.
Good food and service but the space was very odd—overly lit and lacking in ambience
My only complaint is really not a complaint, some people like to get in and out. Not us, we like to take our time and I think we had a new hire. She was really good, but was really rushing us. We had to slow things down, then it was perfect.
Excellent on all accounts
Music was a little outdated.
The waiter was attentive, but it was eerily not very busy for it being the dinner hour on a Friday night. The food was so-so which made it very overpriced for what we received.
Great place to eat. Did not expect what I saw when I walked in, very artsy, beautiful. Ambiance was great, there was child yelling with a different party, but not crying, just being a kid. The duck nachos were unlike ANYTHING my husband and I had ever tasted! Elk and bison steaks were amazing! Service was pretty good, little slow for not being busy, and I did have to wait to get a second drink, but staff was very nice. We will def be visiting again!
Food very good . Service was ok, but slow, slow, slow.
Great food! Great service. Definitely will be going back.
We love this place for brunch. Our server went above and beyond to accomodate our children and was attentive and kind. We loved the live music. James Owesn is great.
Started the evening with a drink at the bar. The hibiscus chilton was fantastic. Also has the duck nachos which were very good. Bartenders were very friendly, waitstaff was attentive but not intrusive. We ordered the center cut filet and the elk and both were cooked perfectly. We couldn’t decided between the Creme brûlée and the bread pudding, so we got both and we were not disappointed. An outstanding meal, we will definitely be back.
A hidden gem. Great wine menu. Just not easy to find
Had a 6:30 PM reservation on a Friday night. Literally, NO other customers were there before and after our arrival. Felt sorry for the instrumental guitarist, as he was playing to an empty restaurant. The food prices are ridiculously high, which is probably why this place has no patrons.
Great food , presentation was a little lacking. Will dine here again.
Restaurant was surprisingly empty, despite great decor and very good food
Beautiful presentation of food.. chef delivered a duck pate that was delicious!
It was so nice to have a pleasant evening without all the big screen TVs hanging on every available space! We really enjoyed the easy listening music as well. Nice to be able to talk to each other at dinner without having to raise your voice.
Enjoyed very much would come back really good food
This restaurant has much potential, but needs to hire professional wait & bar personnel that will take orders correctly. The wine list is very over priced. Good luck.
We spent our anniversary dinner at Copper Fire Grill. AMAZING!! Food was incredible, service was excellent. Go eat here!!!
We had a late dinner. We got there at about 9:15-9:20. Took a few minutes to decide on our meals and then ordered. We had salads, but they took honestly way too long. There were only two other tables besides ours there. They already had their food and our dinner wasn’t ready until about 9:52 PM. We only had salads and that was just way too long to wait.
Service was very sparse. Didn’t have enough servers for a Friday nite. Food was mediocre at best. The chef actually left off the mashed potatoes on the special.
Food wasn't great. Tenderloin was rare not medium or even medium rare. I didn't send back or say anything because it should be done right the first time and I wanted to enjoy my anniversary meal with my wife. They couldn't find the wine listed on menu. The wait staff were extremely nice but new and not trained yet. I expect more for $150 for 2.
We always select Copper Fire for our celebrations because we know we will have a great experience and wonderful food! The service was amazing, cocktails were top-notch and everyone loved their food! Always recommend Copper Fire for brunch or dinner!
Kids sirloin (~4-6oz) was fantastic, good thing my four year old couldn't eat it all because my wife and I finished it. That being said, the ribeye left a bit to be desired, the flavor was great, but there was a ton of fat that made about 15% of the steak inedible. Our server was super sweet and her suggestion of the duck nachos was terrific! Very great place for date night or a celebration. My wife and I will be back.
Although the food was good it was not a $28. Meal . More like a $18. Meal . Wine pour was small for price.
Enjoyed our time there. Great food and atmosphere.
We went for our 3 year anniversary and had a great time! The waiter we had was very nice and our food was excellent!! We will be going back!!
My wife ordered her filet mignon well done and it came out almost raw...I don't think the filets were cooked to order. I ordered the salmon and it was okay. They had a limited menu for Valentine's so their other menu items were not available so that's why I think the beef was already cooked and waiting.....I could be wrong. The salads were great and the wine pairing was good. This wasn't our first time there....and the first time was definitely better.
