   Excellent food, quiet atmosphere with few guests due to COVID but enjoyed our visit for 14th wedding anniversary

   The food was okay, service was fair, ambience was poor due to CONvid which appears to be every excuse to do as little as possible. Not sure we'd return, our booking was for 19:45, due to CONvid coming alive at 18:00 we dinned earlier. We only discovered our inability to dine at 19:45 through calling the venue, no contact was received from the venue prior to our call. We're all about supporting the economy at this time however when a venue is focussed on doing as little as possible it doesn't motivate one to return.

   Gorgeous lunch at The Copper Dog, the atmosphere is great and they were so friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

   Lovely food but slightly overpriced in my opinion. £28 for monkfish and prawn curry is at least £8 too much on my opinion.

   The initial service was good, staff were friendly. However once the main course was served no one came back to ask if the food was okay and if we needed anything, we would have ordered drinks. We just had the water on the table. I had to go up to one member of staff to ask for ketchup. The ketchup never arrived, we were ignored. That member of staff passed us 3 times and even served the table next to us. The food was good but service could be better.

   We have always been regular visitors rk the Copper Dog, but have become disappointed. We went on Sunday for a treat but spent most of the time waiting. The server kept pulling his mask down to speak - not really the point of the mask! None of the staff were warm and we were constantly promised things that didn’t materialise. The food was decent enough but the lack of service annoyed us so much it’ll be a while til we are back. This is not the time to let standards slip!
