Our innovative presentation of Indian cuisine must be experienced in order to be appreciated. Intimate seating, contemporary Indian art and music, top shelf spirits, and a superb wine list are a few examples of the Copper experience.

Copper Ratings and Reviews
The food was absolutely delicious. The focus was on flavor, not spiciness. One suggestion would be to ask the guests what spiciness level they may want (though the menu does say that they are happy to accommodate customizable requests). We have a mango allergy and they were superb in knowing their menu and helping us avoid any mango-containing foods (including serving us a different chutney with our appetizer). There not many upscale Indian restaurants (most tend to be family-style), but we enjoyed the ambience, service, and the food! We had the goat-cheese kofta and vegetable kesari). The sauces were creamy and delicious! The garlic naan was freshly made and completed the dish! We would definitely come back!
This is our fourth Valentine's Day in a row going to Copper, and unfortunately our first down experience. We sat for an hour after getting our appetizers, and finally had to demand some Naan just to tide us over until the main course finally came out. The food was, as always, excellent, so we're going to chalk this one up to an off night for the server (or an off server), but it was not the romantic night that we were hoping for and frankly had come to expect.
Food was terrific! Service was over the top and the restaurant was packed. The servers worked as a team - very attentive but not hovering. The restaurant itself is in a historic house and the bar area is lovely and inviting. Definitely give it a try even if you’re not sure about Indian cuisine- my husband is not a huge fan of Indian spices but said the food was terrific......
Shared the tikka masala and saag paneer with a Pakistani friend. Both were well-executed and authentic. Copper is in a craftsman-style house and has a great, casual elegance to it. Even with a Taj Mahal beer, the bill was less than $50-an excellent fine dining value.
We had an absolutely lovely dinner tonight at Copper. A quiet, intimate atmosphere and attentive staff, in addition to great Indian food(both traditional and creative dishes), made it special.
Apps: Chili-glazed Seared Scallops w/turmeric, cumin and ginger sauce, fresh apple and golden raisins.
Fresh greens w/Matchstick Veggies.
Entrees: Chicken Tiki Masala, Curry of Jumbo Prawns, Cucumber Salad and Nan.
Dessert: Medley of Sorbets (raspberry, coconut, mango and caramel).
My husband had a glass of a Willamette Valley, Oregon Cabernet blend (delicious) and I an unusual and refreshing Olive, Lime and Mint mocktail w/a sugared rim .
We have been to this great restaurant more than half a dozen times, and the food is ALWAYS delicious.
Usually the service is on par with the food, but our recent service was absolutely awful. We were not checked on again for 40min after our main entrees, and ultimately had to motion to the front desk manager to get our food boxed up and for our check.
Based on past experience, this is an anomaly; and I suppose this could be choked up to a busy New Year's Eve dinner service.
An amazing meal as always, a complete service let down.
Well worth a visit.
The food and service was exceptional as always. Love Copper, wish it’s sister restaurant was the same! Blue Taj is awful, food and service was horrendous! Hard to believe these two restaurants are associated with each other. Always a great meal and amazing service at Copper!
