Great meal and service. This was our second time eating here. We will go back again.
Awesome.. I can’t wait to go back
Easy to find, plenty of good parking, dining areas immaculate, tableware perfect, good selection of traditional Indian foods, all well prepared and presented. Quiet enough for easy conversation. Wait staff attentive but not intrusive.
Very good meal.
My husband and I were visiting from out of town and were hungry for Indian Food. We searched and found Copper in a neighborhood we wanted to explore in Charlotte. A review recommended asking for a table in the window room. I made a special request but when we arrived it was not available. We were seated near a window overlooking the parking lot, not exactly attractive, but they tried. That being said, we had good service, it was a very busy evening and our server apologized for the short delay in attending to our table. After that we received the perfect amount of attention. The menu offered classic as well as new takes on Indian dishes. Everything was beautifully served, fresh and delicious. My biggest complaint was that it was very loud. High ceilings, wood floors and some large groups in the room we were in made for loud echoes. Carpeting or a rug would help that situation.
We went to Copper for Easter dinner. It was very quiet when we got there. The service was prompt and friendly. We ordered three dishes for four people and it was a lot of food. The food itself was outstanding! They had some unique dishes you don’t always find at many Indian restaurants. We will definitely go back!
Consistently good. Have been going for years!
As always, wonderful meal and service. Never disappoints, just have a hard time deciding what to order-good problem!
GREAT FOOD AND GREAT STAFF
Great service, it was busy at lunch time but the service this time was spot on. Loved the vandal and naan.
We liked it before they made so many changes to the menu.
Always great food and excellent service. Unique twist to Indian food. Could not recommend high enough.
Copper never disappoints. We went with another couple who have never been there and they loved it. Copper has something for everyone - if in doubt just ask your waiter for suggestions. We had chicken, lamb and a prawn dish. All was delicious!
Wonderful Experience!!!
This was our first rime at this restaurant and our first Indian cuisine experience. The staff was helpful in making our choices and the food was awesome. We will definitely go back and bring friends.
Always excellent!
Food is exceptionally conceived, prepared, and served. Copper never disappoints!!
A favorite ... and a favorite of friends and associates too ...
Delicious and will be back!
Never been diappointed ever only place for Good authentic indian food with good ambience ,great service !
We love Copper, but tonight was off! Slow service, rice cold, food not as tasty, naan cold! Kinda disappointed....just an off night I guess.
Food was excellent! Service was great! And the atmosphere was perfect! Highly recommend, and will be returning!
It was a perfect ladies night, we loved the ambiance and the food was delicious!
The food, service and ambiance were awesome. Each room has a different feel. My only complaint is the food takes awhile. Between our appetizers and main dishes we waited almost 35 minutes. Overall great spot.
Table for two was stuck in a walkthrough. We were early so no issue but if rest was full we would have been in the way o people headed for bathroom.
Upscale Indian cuisine in a very nice but casual atmosphere of a converted historic house in the heart of Dilworth. Pricey but worth it!
Copper has become our favorite restaurant in Charlotte. The food is always fresh & flavorful, and the assortment is varied & consistently interesting. There are the traditional items that you'd expect, plus several that are more contemporary variations. Vegetarian dishes are a strong suit, but there is something for everyone. Service is prompt & unassuming. Situated in a period Dilworth house on East Boulevard, the setting is perfect: straightforward & comfortable. It's about the food & the company you're sharing it with, not the scene. We find ourselves choosing Copper long after we've tired of newer places with more extravagant dining rooms. Give it a try.
Reserved Table was ready for our arrival. Waitstaff was attentive but not intrusive. Food (we stayed with Traditional) was well presented, tasty, and served promptly. We enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and conversation for two hours.
Another delicious dining experience at Copper! We'll be back!
Outstanding food, consistently one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte. Service courteous, but was rather slow this time.
The food was absolutely delicious. The focus was on flavor, not spiciness. One suggestion would be to ask the guests what spiciness level they may want (though the menu does say that they are happy to accommodate customizable requests). We have a mango allergy and they were superb in knowing their menu and helping us avoid any mango-containing foods (including serving us a different chutney with our appetizer). There not many upscale Indian restaurants (most tend to be family-style), but we enjoyed the ambience, service, and the food! We had the goat-cheese kofta and vegetable kesari). The sauces were creamy and delicious! The garlic naan was freshly made and completed the dish! We would definitely come back!
I loved everything about this place. The location is adorable and trendy, and the inside doesn't disappoint. The courses were appropriately spaced apart, so we had time to relax and talk, but not so far apart we were wondering where our food was. It is more expensive but so worth it. The food was amazing and has something for everything, whether you like spicy or not. The assistant manager and the manager came to check on our table multiple times because they knew we were new to Indian food. I would recommend this to anyone looking for either traditional or fusion Indian food.
Valentines Day- slow service. We normally love this place but it took 75 min to get Naan!
This is our fourth Valentine's Day in a row going to Copper, and unfortunately our first down experience. We sat for an hour after getting our appetizers, and finally had to demand some Naan just to tide us over until the main course finally came out. The food was, as always, excellent, so we're going to chalk this one up to an off night for the server (or an off server), but it was not the romantic night that we were hoping for and frankly had come to expect.
Spent my Valentine's here and my wife and I LOVED it! Amazing service, tasty food, and save room for the Indian ice cream for dessert!! Highly recommend the cauliflower florets for appetizer!
As usual, the food, service and ambience were very good. We enjoyed creative cocktails and delicious Indian food with a modern twist. Our favorite Indian food restaurant in Charlotte.
Had reservations but still had to wait 15-20 minutes. Food was excellent and made up for the wait. Service was OK, it took a while to order drinks and appetizers.
We had a wonderful dinner at Copper. We have been here in the past but wanted to do an early Valentines dinner here. Loved the food and we had a great experience
Copper has a great atmosphere and the food has always been excellent. The lamb in particular is exceptional.
Great food and atmosphere
Really good. Great Indian food. No complaints.
