We had a delicious meal. Service was courteous and prompt. Good menu recommendations.
Restaurant wasn't crowed at all and I could not get water refilled to save my life. Food was okay, but honestly the lack of service will keep me from returning.
We we had celebrated our 15 year anniversary at for dinner and we were very satisfied with the food and service we had or the two vegan dishes an appetizer in a very good dessert to share
As adequate but not superb, food was not as good as I have had elsewhere and it was pricey considering that fact. In a jam I would return but will try another establishment in the future.
I enjoy their food and friendship whenever we are in CLT.
The food and service was amazing!
Even though we made reservation through OpenTable, when we got there they didn't have tables available, we still had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. The service was very slow, the food took almost 30 minutes to arrive and the bill came with extra charges that we didn't ordered. The room temperature was incredible hot, the air conditioning was working very poorly. Very overrated restaurant, very disappointed.
Good food & service was also good. Busy place and need reservation.
Only wish is they would cook the Lamb chops per request. For many years we ask for a specific doneness, and it always goes back to be cooked more.
Best Indian food in North Carolina! From appetizers to main dishes you cannot go wrong. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
This is the second time we ate at Copper. Love the ambiance. It feels cozy and comfortable. Not stuffy or formal. The menu is amazing, and the food was prepared perfectly. The only difference this time was with the wait staff. They weren't as attentive as they were during our last visit. The personal touch was missing. Still our waiter was efficient. Great experience. We'll be back.
Food was outstanding. Rookie server was friendly and attentive.
Great, consistent, Indian food. The Maison Roche is a perfect pairing for just about everything they've got there. Wait staff can be a little Gruff... But if you can get past that it's a great place for friends and family for a very enjoyable meal.
Food was good. It is not the best for Induan taste but is catered toward a fusion Indian taste. Pretty expensive.
We have been to Copper before, but when we went last weekend, we did not have a good experience. We were sat in the corner of an empty room and it seems we were forgotten. Three other tables were sat in our area after we ordered our food, and they all got their food before us. We waited 40 minutes to get our entrees. We almost left, but the food came as we were about to get up. The wait staff seemed disoriented, we had 3 different people come up to our table but they couldn’t bring the food in a timely manner.
It was my first experience here, but the service was excellent, and the food was amazing! I would definitely recommend it, and am looking forward to going again in the future!
Noise, late service, and some meat not cooked well
Great food and good ambience. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!
Some folks don't like Indian food, but I think Copper has something for everyone. It's a new take on Indian cuisine, and not too heavy on the curry. Had a nice meal and were very happy with service and ambiance.
Grest apps go with the cauliflower, naan had a great crisp on it, tikka was so smooth and savory and the goan prawns was made perfect with spice that is not hot at first but builds like it is supposed to do
Consistently amazing food! Always greeted warmly. Menu is updated every time with tasty vegan and vegetarian options.
Amazing food. Service needs work. Took 15-20 mins to get greeted and order drinks. Longer to order dinner. Maybe just an off night. Wasn’t busy but staff seemed confused and disorganized.
Friendly waiter. Good food. Quick service.
Delish and romantic!
This is amazing Indian cuisine! I love that it is family style so everyone can share. This is one of my new favorite places!
Perfect as always! The food is delicious, the house is charming - what more could you ask for.
My girlfriend has been talking about how great her first visit to Copper had been when she was hanging on a weekend in Charlotte. So we'd been discussing making the 87 mile drive down to the restaurant for a while. We took the plunge (almost literally) on Friday afternoon braving rush hour traffic, torrential rainstorms and multiple car accidents to narrowly make our 6:30 reservation.
I would definitely recommend reservations.
The food was exquisite and we are already planning our next visit to Copper. After dinner we drove the 4-5 blocks to the Dilworth Tasting Room for some after dinner drinks on their patio. Dilworth Tasting Room is another 5 star experience!!!
Copper and DTS made our visit to Charlotte worth all the difficulty in getting there...including the fact that I-77 is a nightmare to travel!
The food was delicious as always!
Food was excellent and service was very good. We had the scallop and lamb appetizers. Yum! Entrees were chicken tikka masala, sag paneer and lamb. I had friends visiting from NYC and we all loved it.
This, heritage home converted to restaurant, is worth visiting once.
The food was AMAZING! I am very new to this cuisine and it was wonderful. We came here to an anniversary dinner and it provided a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place. For your first course... try the KHEEMA BHATURA “CHAAT”
Our out of town guests loved Copper as much as we do! It never disappoints.
The server was in a hurry for us order as soon as everyone was seated with “do you know what you want?”
This is a fantastic place to enjoy Indian cuisine with friends and/or family. The food is consistently good and they are very service oriented, helpful, and friendly. I have celiac disease and have never had one problem after dining there. The only thing that drives me crazy is that year after year they have that front patio dining area that is completely un-level. And not just a little. Please alter the awful slant in the floor or at least buy tables that can be significantly adjusted to that one is not dining at a complete and total angle. My guest to my right said she felt she and her food were sliding down to me during the meal. If you can't make the right fix come up with a reasonable solution.
Excellent service, wonderful food. We went recently for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We will be back again, you can bet on it.
A little pricey but the food and service was awesome.
We love this place and keep coming back. My husband is from Birmingham, England and is picky when it comes to his Indian food. He approves of this place 110% and we make it a monthly date night because of that!!! The tikka Masala is amazing, perfectly made!
From the moment we walked in the door, the wait staff was friendly and accommodating. Our waitress (Shivani - hopefully not misspelled, just going from memory) was fantastic and friendly. Our appetizer of of Masala-Chili Cauliflower Florets was amazing and left us wishing we had a table full of it. The entrees were fantastic, we had the Crab Kundun Quorma and the Goan Prawn Curry. The prawns were perfectly spicy - too many Indian restaurants I've been to are afraid to use full flavors, but these were perfect, and actually had the nice spicy bite that we wanted. The Crab was fantastic, sweet lump crab with a very savory sauce, was fantastic with the rice and the Garlic Naan that we ordered. To top it off, we had Gajrela-Rabdi. This was one of the best desserts I have ever had. We were aptly warned that it might take 10-15 minutes to make, and it was accurate because they are made fresh, but I promise you it was well worth the wait. Maybe put in the order before you finish your entree if you are in a hurry. We weren't and were so glad we waited. Every dish we had was full of fantastic flavor and prepared to exacting measure. We will be back, and wish we lived closer to frequent more often. Thank you Copper for a great Mother's day/Anniversary meal!
Our waiter was amazing! I have to eat gluten free and he helped me navigate the menu. The food was so good!
