Great food, setting and service.
We felt stuck back in the corner and didn’t get much attention from our waiter. The menu could have explained the food better. We dined at night so no view of the water. The food was just okay. I don’t see us coming back.
Great service, superior views, beautiful decor, a bit noisy though. The food was well prepared and looked and tasted good. The entree choices were a bit limited. Vegetarians can get a good meal with a little help from the server and kitchen.
Party of 4. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. The food was good but nothing special. The steak was served under a bed of arugula and asiago with a tomato sauce - creative but not that pleasing. Scallops were nice. Pasta dishes good. Abundant amount of food.
We had a wonderful experience at Copper and Salt. Such a beautiful place, great food and wonderful staff. Can't wait to come back.
Great service, fresh ingredients, perfect brunch spot, love the pineapple mimosa. And the view of the water is perfection. Definitely recommend
Absolutely horrible food. We tried an appetizer at night and breakfast/brunch in the morning. The quality of food just isn’t there. They served us a pork belly hash with 4 tiny pieces of meat in it. Avocado toast was very disappointing too. I wish they had better food because the restaurant location and the vibe is great.
This restaurant is always great! We love the ambiance and the food.
We were so pleased with the whole picture. I had heard the food was worthy and made reservations for New Years. It was a set menu with lots of selections. Three of us had the lamb and one the prime rib. Both entrees were cooked to perfection. No complaints and each course was a delight. The wait staff was well trained and anticipated our needs.
The setting is modern and upbeat.
We will be back.
Good food and good service. Good food and good service.
The quality of the food was poor, poor as it made me sick. Overpriced. Not worth the visit.
All around great!
The place was a bit noisy. Food was.pretty good, but a but overpriced for what we got. It has a nice view and our server was very nice.
We would absolutely recommend Copper & salt Kitchen. We went for Christmas dinner and enjoyed ourselves. The majority of the dishes were delish. The roast chicken with what tasted like canned BBQ baked beans was the least favorite. Don't order that. The halibut was fantastic and the short rib was great. The cocktails were spot on!
We came for Christmas dinner. The selections on the menu where delicious. The staff was very friendly and always made sure we had what we needed. It was a great experience and I'll be back.
Beautiful restaurant, great views! Service was wonderful, food was good, but a bit over priced IMO. It's a nice place for a special occasion. I'd try it again when the full menu is available we went on Christmas so the menu was limited. Food was good...decent portions, but pretty pricey.
Extremely poor value! We came dressed for the holidays, with a good attitude and left vowing not to return. We had reservations, were hotel guests and were excited to spend Christmas. We were first seated at a high, sports bar type of table next to the bar in the main isle. Asked if we could move to a normal table and they moved us to a table that was barely high enough to get our legs under. Server was very good and the food was terrible. I could break it down item by item but not worth the effort. The bill for two of us for one night at the hotel and one dinner meal (one drink each) was $729.62!!
Staff was friendly & efficient. Every course was excellent. Highly recommend.
We visited for a 40th birthday and was not disappointed. The food was delicious. We started with the meatballs and focaccia bread. For the main courses we had bucatini, salmon, scallops and shrimp. Everything tasted amazing.
The place is great we’re just not a big fan of all the food options
Nice space and good service. The food wasn't bad but I expected better for the price. The salad was so acidic. Food was under seasoned.
Good food & service. Limited menu.
The food was great. The server Ky was great until we couldn't find him when we were ready to go despite asking other servers to help us. It was a really nice evening until then. He said he wanted to give us time to relax which was kind but it was too much time and instead of relaxing it became stressful and the evening ended on a not so nice note.
Loved it! Recommend going for sure. We will be back.
Great food, great view. Waiter was friendly and attentive without hovering
The food was okay. The flavoring wasn’t spectacular (particularly the sauces). The prime rib wasn’t seared well. However, the service was fantastic and the ambiance was relaxing.
I don’t understand why this place has poor reviews, because it’s an amazing experience to enjoy the food here! The food is delicious and it’s a beautiful setting with the water views! My husband and I both had the ribeye steaks which were a wonderful food experience. The Ribeye is laid over a tomato sauce on the plate with the steak drippings mixed in, topped with light balsamic baby greens and has thin slices of fresh shaved Parmesan. It was delicious! The Zeppoli dessert of fresh made donut rounds coated in cinnamon sugar, served with a creamy custard and plum sauce is a yummy treat. The drinks are well made also, you can tell they have experienced bartenders.
Hi Sara, Thanks so much for taking the time to write this great review! We hope to see you again soon! Sincerely, Marrie Whiting Seifi GM, Copper & Salt
Your menu was very limited. Not a lot of choices. Different type of food? The atmosphere & waitress was excellent
Our service last night was subpar at best. The food ( $37 Ribeye steak) was cold when served and swimming in some type of bbq tomato sauce - yuk... so it was sent back.
Our 1st time there it was great. 2nd time eating there was really disappointed. We will try one more time
(maybe) in the future, so we'll see if they get it right. The restaurant is beautiful though. Im unsure if I would recommend this place to a friend - on the fence about that -so my answer there is "maybe".
This was my second time and it was just as wonderful as the first. Caesar salad was well portioned to be shared by two people. The Pappardelle made with Hen of the woods, is incredible and tasty!
Hi Daniel, Thanks so much for the great review! We appreciate the feedback and love to hear that we were able to meet your expectations and that you returned for a second visit! We hope to see you again soon! Sincerely, Marrie Whiting-Seifi General Manager Copper & Salt
Too expensive food quality is not worth the price you pay for the food waiter was rude and couldn't find him when needed him
Thanksgiving dinner here was incredible! The family style dishes were all delicious. Would definitely come back for a regular dinner and also a special occasion dinner.
Menu is limited, mostly pasta dishes, dinner serving was small, appetizers limited, portions better than dinner. Bread with mozzarella would have been better if cheese was not almost frozen. Celebrating PNW foods would be preferred in a tourist destination. No signage outside or inside. View beautiful, food was nothing to bring us back.
Overall food was good. Our server must have busy.
Smaller menu but great selections. Starters are excellent as well. Great vibe!
Lori, Thanks so much for the positive review! Hope to see you again soon! Sincerely, Marrie Whiting-Seifi GM, Copper & Salt
Nice new restaurant in Tacoma. My friend and I both enjoyed our meal. I had the scallops - they were nicely done, and she had soup and corn fritters. Wine was great! Nice atmosphere, and excellent wait staff.
Drinks were amazing
Food was amazing
What more can you want
Dear Mariya, Thanks so much for the great 5 star review! You made our day! Sincerely, Marrie Whiting Seifi GM, Copper & Salt
The table was too short and the seat too high, meaning my knees were against the table and I had to lean over to eat. There were also no lights above our table so I had to use my phone to see the menu. The menu was small, not much to order. The papardelle was really good but my steak was OK for the price. The steak was pre-cut into bite size pieces, no idea why they did that. The tomato/peppercorn sauce was bland and overly tomato. They also didn't have any A1 or Heinz57. Overall, the prices were way too high for the quality of food and the ambience was very average.
Hi Jeff, Thank you for taking the time to leave a five star review! We are so glad you had a good time and hope to see you again soon! Sincerely, Marrie Whiting-Seifi General Manager Copper & Salt Northwest Kitchen
