I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the food here. I ordered the salmon. Which I normally do when salmon is an option on a menu. This was definitely one of the worse salmons I’ve had. No flavor. My boyfriend had the angus burger which was good. But honestly I’ve had a burger from Wendy’s that tasted just like it so I don’t know what the difference between the two were. The brick walls and huge mirrors were definitely the best place about Copper 48.
Great food, great atmosphere and all around great place!
Service was wonderful. Food was very good. Overall it was a great experience
Great service. Delicious food - our favorite was braised short ribs and creamy polenta. Baby back ribs also great.
They added a green chili mac and cheese and it is absolutely delicious
Our server was super chill and shared a personal
Story with us. Very touching.
Decided to try out Copper 48 as we were fans of Nico's. We had a wonderful server! Unfortunately he was the only server and although the restaurant was not full at all, it seemed the cooks were having a hard time getting food out. The wait was long, the food was just so-so. We agreed we won't be back, at least in the near future.
Food was the best we've had in a while. Bar service was slow, but our server, Reggie, was bright, quick and very personable.
Great spot in DT Gilbert! Food is always great! Service was fantastic! Thank you Reggie!!!
We’ll be back.
Good food. Way too loud.
Our second time here in 6 days! Amazing food! Highly recommended. Love the atmosphere and great service too. This will be our new go-to spot!
Good was good. $17 for a hamburger and $10 for a Prosecco. Pricey. Limited choices on menu. Unique selection of food. Just limited menu.
Really enjoyed all the incredible flavors from the Octopus to the short rib hash during brunch all was excellent. Really enjoyed the almost bottomless mimosa's with the multiple flavors like Passion Fruit, Kiwi, Blueberry, Peach, Strawberry, Traditional Orange....so many flavors to enjoy. Can't wait to come back for brunch again, and again.
Great food, great drinks. Shareables
The service was extremely slow we felt as if we were constantly trying to make eye contact with anyone to serve our table. We probably sat for 20 minutes before we got our drink order in and then another 20 until we received our drinks. The waiter was friendly but Very stingy on attention. We ordered appetizers and shortly after they recommended we order our meal, but promised they wouldn’t stack our orders together. However all were delivered within five minutes of each other. The food was OK but it wasn’t really hot and the appetizer portions were small. The place was so loud, definitely took a lot of effort to constantly yell across the table. Drinks were good but slow at the bar. From the time we seated until we finished was 2.25 hours.
The home made pasta was FANTASTIC!!!
We ordered the artichokes for the appetizer and they were really good. I was not expecting fried artichoke hearts but they were perfectly done and the sauces on the plate were good enough to eat with a spoon. Hubby had the octopus and it was perfectly cooked and beautiful. I will say its not a lot of food so probably not the best selection for a bigger appetite. He ordered the broccolini on the side because he suspected the entree would be small and it was probably the best broccolini I've had. I had the short rib and polenta again and it was fork tender and I cannot say enough about how delicious the polenta is. We had the chocolate sticky toffee pudding for desert and we have had it before and on a previous occasion it was the most delicious moist amazing mouth watering desert imaginable but this time it was dry. I saw another patron send theirs back so I think it was just a bad night for that desert. We still ate ours and it was acceptable but not the same desert I spent the previous 2 weeks dreaming of. I'm gonna order it again in a couple weeks and cross my fingers. The waitress was super friendly and attentive and the atmosphere (though a little loud) is definitely well suited for a nice date, its not overly fancy but it is definitely a upscale place.
We really loved it! We can’t wait to go back! We can’t stop talking about the artichoke appetizer. Can’t wait to go back.
Everything was very good except your chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. I can't remember the last time that was a topic of discussion at dinner. they were uncomfortable when you were Nico's and still are now.
If you are seeking consistency in service and the quality of food you have found the right place!
Jerk chicken was soggy for my taste. I prefer it a bit dryer with a seasoned rub. The salmon was a bit burned and I prefer it blackened with a seasoned char. IMO bland overall.
The service was great and the food quality was a 7/10. But the quantity of food was small, the prices were too much considering the quantity, and the chairs were very uncomfortable so it was hard to settle in and enjoy a meal. I won't be returning.
Burata appetizer was fabulous. Portion sizes were somewhat large. However salmon and chicken were nothing special (not great, not bad, not memorable). $14 for an old fashion is ridiculous. We were also crammed in next to a wall and servers had a difficult tim getting to our table for 2. If that one table were removed, the entire row would open up.
Love the atmosphere, vibe and location. The food is bland and below average. Service was average.
Food, Service, and atmosphere was excellent.
Great service! We were running late but called and they held our reservation for two on a busy Saturday night with no fuss. Waitstaff was friendly and didn't have to wait too long for service. My salmon dish was very tasty but a bit too heavy on the salt. Otherwise it was great. Loved the butternut squash puree. Nice restaurant and will be back!
Anniversary. We had the salmon and sea bass both were fantastic.
Love this place. Food is excellent and bar tenders make some of the best cocktails around. Our server, Reginald, was pretty new there - he was fantastic! Very personable and made helpful recommendations. Although they are a little pricey, We highly recommend this place - it’s on our frequent visit list. Only one minor point to improve - we had the ceviche which had an outstanding juice flavor, but there was very little seafood (shrimp) for $17. Throw in two or three more shrimp and our experience was perfect.
Great time….food was good. Tim is back and that was awesome. Thank you.
Our experience at Cooper 48 tonight was extremely poor. After waiting 10 minutes for someone to greet our table it took another 15 minutes to get water. We the wait almost 30 minutes to be told the dinner we order was now sold out. I am extremely disappointed in the service of this place. We ended up leaving after being there for almost an hour after we were asked to order something new. I would highly suggest they improve communication between wait staff and kitchen to improve the customer experience.
Copper 48 is a wonderfully unique experience. I felt completely relaxed while the restaurant was packed, which is rare. They way they designed the bar, outdoor, and indoor seating allows for one to enjoy the ambiance, but still hear your dining partner(s). All of the people who work there are also magnificent. I see them work together, seemingly enjoy each other, and then outwardly to its clientele they are so friendly and kind. I enjoyed myself and will go back for many reasons- the food is amazing. We sampled 6 of the menu items, and 3 of the specialty cocktails. Everything was amazing, masterfully prepared, and came out in a timely fashion despite the venue being almost at capacity. What an amazing feat which I am forever impressed by. I plan to go back, as I have many friends and co-workers visit from different states. I would recommend this with 100 stars over and over again if I could.
Food was awesome, price point wasn’t crazy, and ambiance was great. They seemed to be short staffed and our waiter was a bit grumpy.
Food is always good here.
Definitely will go back again! The dining experience added to a great evening!
We get a date night once a month and try pick a new place each time. We had been here when it was Nico and wow what a difference!
We sat outside because it had stopped raining and the weather was nice, so the hostess “set the table”. We get seated, our waitress comes out and asks for drinks, as soon as we give them to her she starts to take off, didn’t ask about starters or if we were ready to order, my husband had to stop her. We got our starters super fast, but no flatware or napkins and no drinks yet. Waited for about 10 min and no waitress on site to check on us, my husband had to go in and ask the bartender for flatware, no hostess or waitress to be found. A few minutes later our drinks so up. After they cleared the starter plates, we sat with empty glasses and no food for a solid 30 min. When our entrees finally came, I ended up having to order our dinner drinks with the runner that brought our entrées. Still no sign of our waitress. We ended up joking about having to slow down with our food because we didn’t have anything to drink. I leaned back in my seat and both people behind the bar are casually talking and sipping their water bottles. When our drinks did show up we immediately asked for the check having a funny feeling it would take a while. Neither one of us are “those people” when it comes to going out, we don’t get out much so when we do we enjoy it and we understand what it’s like to be on the other side of the table, could be a first day, first job, understaffed, but this was not ok. We took a few sips signed the bill and left. We didn’t even have the desire to sit and talk while we finished our drinks like we always do.
Now keep in mind the food… AMAZING!!! So so good!!!
Maybe it was an off night for the staff, maybe it was the weather, who knows… all I know is that it wasn’t the best service.
Date Night was finished off with some ice cream else where and walks in the rain… so it was perfect!
It took almost an hour for us to get our food. You ran out of an appetizer we wanted and you ran out of a drink.
Great food and service overcame the long wait for initial drinks and appetizers. Well worth it in the end!
Excellent happy hour! My friends and I had the ceviche, brussels sprouts, focaccia bread, and artichoke and all were delicious. The owner/manager was updating the wine list so there was a little hiccup on the bottle we ordered but they were super attentive and had us try a couple other reds which we liked. We will definitely be back.
Everything was very nice. The food was really good. We had the rigatoni, braised short rib and salmon dishes. We all agreed we would order them again. Thank you.
I deviated from my normal pasta dish to try the sea bass "OUTSTANDING". The sea bass was sweet, moist and outstanding.
