Food and service were excellent.
Cozy spot for locals in the neighborhood. Live jazz on Sunday nights!
The owner is very friendly but the waiter was not - he seemed miserable and bothered by having to serve us.
So glad that my friend and I met for dinner at this new spot! Everything was delicious!!
I got the special fish-sea bass and my friend had the crusted halibut. We started with the arugula salad. The bread that was served was hot and yummy too!
I will def be going back!
Loved this place. Our first time. Would definitely return. All of our dishes were excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. A wonderful surprise.
Excellent customer service
The food was very good. The overall experience was nice, but the service was somewhat slow. Would recommend it though.
Great food...great service...great fixed price dinner....would go back in a heartbeat
Copinette is the perfect neighborhood gem. The food is fantastic, fairly priced, and beautifully presented. The staff is warm but professional. We love coming here.
Great food as always and we love our waiter, Nick!!!
We also appreciate that the bar staff was able to get dark rum for a Dark n’ Stormy! And those three bourbon-soaked cherries are awesome.
Nice brunch- lunch options- great choices for everyone.
Copinette is a great place for a quiet romantic place for dinner. Food was great loved the fun cocktails.
Food very good. A neighborhood gem. Not noisy and good value. Had kale salad excellent. And Filet mignonette wry good
The staff was attentive and the food great and inventive. A good value for the money.
Pretty good and big improvements since they first opened. Noise level a tad high because there's nothing to absorb the sound. They could have used another waiter or 2. Bottom line - still worth going back again.
Great food and service
great service, yummy and affordable food!
I always love going to Copinette. The food is very good and the service is wonderful.
The staff always goes out of their way to make me feel welcome.
Excellent food and service. The maitre d' knows what good food is - great recommendations.
We had a lovely brunch with friends from out of town. We got off to a slow start with no one attending our table for 10 minutes after we arrived but once we worked it out our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience and was very attentive. Food was delicious and the pancakes might be the best in the area! Big plus since we are locals
As a party of 4 that arrived before at least 12 other tables, we waited 1.5 hours to get our appetizer then our brunch entrees. During the 1.5 hours, we watch everyone else receive their meals.
Wonderful quiet brunch!
Good menu choices, good wines by the glass and delicious food!
Excellent food and service.
This is a very good neighborhood restaurant. It is too noisy for a special occasion, but the room is attractive and the tables are well spaced.
The menu has a well-thought out selection and there are daily specials. Desserts include mini madeleines, which are shareable, for those who only want a taste of something sweet. The service is good, though a bit harried.
Always a good meal in a airy and relaxing environment.
Very pleasant for lunch and dinner
My friends and I went to Copinette on a Sunday night and had a lovely time. The restaurant had live music yet was quiet enough to have a conversation.
Similarly, the distance between tables is good, again, fostering quality, semi-private conversations.
The service was excellent from the minute we entered until we left.
The menu itself was somewhat limited, which is why I'm not giving 5 stars.
Overall, a nice ambiance, great service, convenient location, comfortable seating and outstanding noise level.
Brunch menu is phenomenal
Food great . Service wonderful. Friendly
Copinette is a nice and much needed addition to the neighborhood and I will definitely return. I went for brunch where there were numerous interesting options. The food was very good and nicely presented. The wait staff was very pleasant and helpful - I think they could have used one more server to help with the tables. The restaurant is nicely laid out, the cushioned chairs are very comfortable, and I liked the background music. The room is attractive, but a bit stark for my taste - perhaps tablecloths for dinner would warm the atmosphere a bit.
Food was okay and service was horrible. May have been understaffed, but it took almost 20 minutes for someone to come greet us/take our order and everything was delayed from there on.. There were multiple people taking our orders and bringing our food out - not even sure who our direct server was. Restaurant was way off their game - won't be back.
Very nice location, feels like a nice neighborhood hang out
Had a wonderful time and the duck special was divine. I am still dreaming of the oui oui champagne cocktail.
Nice addition to the neighborhood
I was very disappointed with the food, the salmon was over cooked and dry. My friend had the risotto and was also over cooked. The desert was ok.
I have been there before and the food was really good.
Excellent food, well-priced menu and wine list, and generous bar pours. The wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The modern decor provides an atmosphere that is warm and inviting. Our host and one owner of Copinette was Andrew, a most congenial gentleman whose utmost interest is in his clienteles' well being and satisfying dining experience. No matter how full you are, do NOT skip dessert.
I had the fresh halibut and my husband the had chicken cordon bleu - both were overcooked and somewhat dry. The service was excellent, the ambience pleasant and it's close to where we live - we were looking for a new neighborhood place. We'll try it again, but if it doesn't improve, we'll keep looking.
We came here for New Year's Eve at 8.30pm. It was busy but not full at this point though it was full by the time we left. The tables are set far enough apart that no-one need feel they are joining someone else for dinner. The room was brightly lit but cosy. There was a prix fixe menu because it was New Year's Eve but the choices were varied and generous..very much what I would have ordered anyway had it been a la carte. Didn't get the glass of champagne that was supposed to be included in the price though, I guess because we left before the midnight toast. Service was slow unfortunately and was the only negative of the night. Looking around there were quite a few tables sitting with nothing in front of them for some time. With food coming out very slowly, they missed their opportunity to sell more drinks by not coming around to ask if you wanted a second drink..on New Year's Eve no less...if we hadn't been able to flag down our server, we wouldn't have had a second one. I would come down because the menu has plenty of good choices and the food we had was cooked well.
The ambiance was very nice .. the paintings on the wall were cool .. the lamb chops were GREAT!!
Excellent staff. Ample portions. Reasonable.
Very good food and friendly attentive staff...the ambience is very calm and cozy....and the overall experience is relaxed and warm and we're definitely going back !!!
Copinette is a neighborhood gem which is fast becoming a destination. We are “regulars” and have ordered most of the items on the menu. This restaurant deserves to be successful. The food is consistently not just very good, but well designed and executed. The prices are reasonable with no break the bank “specials”. Service is professional - friendly and capable. The decor is tasteful and unpretentious. All in all, just a fine place to eat a meal in NYC.
