My experience this time was ok. I have been other times and it was great. Understandably they were busy due to a big soccer match on TV, but they might have been under staffed for a busy day. Our server who also appeared to be the bartender did his best to be attentive but it was clear he was overwhelmed taking orders and making drinks at the same time. We had to wait a little while to put in the next couple rounds of food orders (unlimited brunch tapas style). Overall it was still good.
Great service, we came with 2 kids and they were very attentive and even brought hot water to warm up a bottle. Super friendly and fast service, and even better food!
The food was awesome and the service impeccable. For food and service at this level you would think of more upscaled atmosphere, but it is a sports bar I get it. I highly recommend Copa and will come back again and bring my friends!
We are regulars and love this place! Their paella and pulpo tapas are amazing. Their cocktails are also original and for every taste. Servers are always attentive and courteous. We'll keep coming back!
We had a great girls brunch on the patio with the bottomless tapas and $2 drinks. The servers and hostess were so accommodating and attentive! We all had a great time and will definitely be back!
Excellent service and very good food
The restaurant seemed to be very understaffed. We saw our food come out of the kitchen and sit out for about a half hour before the waiter brought it to our table. Good location but poor service.
Amazing food and great atmosphere!
We had a great anniversary dinner outside under the heater on their patio. We thought their Unlimited Tapas special was fantastic. We didn't even get to try all of the tapas, so we'll need to do it again. We've also ordered their paellas to go and they are delicious. Highly recommend
Valentine’s Day brunch. Loved the bottomless tapas!
The food was good and the staff was knowledgeable. The drinks were good but the hibiscus mojito could have been better. But mixing the mojito with the raspberry sangria WOW! Amazing.
Omg one of the best tapas I’ve had! There are so many things to love about COPA menu-sangrias, empanadas, flatbreads, bravas, salmon crudo and many more. We had an unlimited tapas deal with $2 drinks- BOMB!
Cool spot to watch the games or have a family dinner. Very welcoming and fun. Highly recommend this place.
The unlimited tapas brunch special was great! Our server was really accommodating even though we arrived really close to the brunch end time. Definitely would recommend!
Food was terrible and expensive. Service was so slow.
The environment was great, service was top notch. Tapas were fantastic. Everything item we ordered had outstanding flavor. On the texture side, we were a bit underwhelmed by the paella. The rice in the paella was slightly undercooked and had sort of a crunch to it. (Not the crispy good kind either). The sangria was on the thin/watered down side, especially as it was served over ice
Great constant food and drinks with all you can eat football was on so I got to enjoy my date and the Steelers
It was delicious. I haven’t had much Spanish food, but this was next level delicious. It was phenomenal, and everything from the nachos to the variety of tapas were great.
Great dinner with friends. The food was better than ever! Staff is super friendly
Delicious food and great service. The setup for social distancing was perfect. I will definitely come back again.
Great Food and Drinks! Would recommend this if you are looking for gluten & dairy free options as well. Very accommodating.
Food was ok, nothing great. Service was a lacking - we had asked for new plates because the ones brought to us were dirty and we actually never received them. We also asked for water when placing our initial order and only got them about 5 minutes before we left. The waiter checked on us maybe once during the meal.
They do have some smart COVID accommodations in place including the option to pay for your bill online by scanning a QR code on the check. They also have a decent amount of outdoor seating.
Probably wouldn’t rush to come back again.
Went their for the unlimited tapas special. Food was really good. Nice portion sizes. Presentation of food was very appeasing to the eyes. Would highly recommend!!!
Always great!
The restaurant was fabulous, even in COVID-19 times! The meal was great, though I still feel that $15 for 6 shrimp is a bit of a stretch in Arlington. I’d recommend going for happy hour - the prices are much more in line with what’s affordable.
Thanks for your visit and the feedback! We truly appreciate your patronage during these trying times. We take all comments seriously and indeed we have recently just reviewed our menu and the item you mention has been adjusted. We hope to see you again soon!
The french toast was very good. Thet have Mahou and that is it all about beer. They show the soccer games.
Bad service, was charged wrong, constant attitude. Was fixed by someone else but would not return because of her
We went for dinner and it happened to be during their happy hour, which had good prices on flatbreads, appetizers and drinks. Everything was very tasty and good portion sizes. It's a great location for those who eat gluten free.
Absolutely loved my experience at Copa. The food was delicious and our server Ignacio was a delight.
The french toast and bloddy mary bar are excellent.
I love this resturant! The smoke salmon flatbread was delicious
Solid place to watch football games. Chef John is very friendly. Excellent wings.
Food was ok, but I expected more Flavour from the dishes.
Family dinner with 3 kids. Appreciated the kids menus and crayons. Too much fried / breaded things for me. Next time getting the skewers.
New fav in Ballston Quarter - summer fresh gazpacho and salmon crud!
Enjoyed the food although my sides came out cold but the manager did rectify the situation so i appreciate the customer service
Copa was SO good! We’re so glad they opened at Ballston Quarter! We both enjoyed flatbreads (smoked salmon and chorizo) and cheese bites as an appetizer. The raspberry sangria was so refreshing. The food is reasonably priced and Copa provides a fun atmosphere which I’m sure we’ll be back at during football season. Definitely check them out if you’re in the Ballston area!
Food was very tasty. Service was a bit lackadaisical. Overall, a good, solid lunch.
Great for soccer matches and beer, not great for food.
This place was nice in that it was very accommodating to large parties, which is currently tough to do in Ballston. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed my salmon skewer and the collard greens were delicious. Other people weren't as excited by their meals but no one had any serious complaints. The biggest issues were service. It took a long time for our order to be taken and our sever would vanish for extended periods. Someone, who appeared to be the manager did help out and was apologetic and very accommodating. I think this location is fairly new, so growing pains are understandable. I'll be moving to the area so I intend to visit again and give them a second chance in a month or so.
Food was good but service was terrible.
