Copa Kitchen & Bar
Enjoyed the food although my sides came out cold but the manager did rectify the situation so i appreciate the customer service
Copa was SO good! We’re so glad they opened at Ballston Quarter! We both enjoyed flatbreads (smoked salmon and chorizo) and cheese bites as an appetizer. The raspberry sangria was so refreshing. The food is reasonably priced and Copa provides a fun atmosphere which I’m sure we’ll be back at during football season. Definitely check them out if you’re in the Ballston area!
Food was very tasty. Service was a bit lackadaisical. Overall, a good, solid lunch.
Great for soccer matches and beer, not great for food.
This place was nice in that it was very accommodating to large parties, which is currently tough to do in Ballston. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed my salmon skewer and the collard greens were delicious. Other people weren't as excited by their meals but no one had any serious complaints. The biggest issues were service. It took a long time for our order to be taken and our sever would vanish for extended periods. Someone, who appeared to be the manager did help out and was apologetic and very accommodating. I think this location is fairly new, so growing pains are understandable. I'll be moving to the area so I intend to visit again and give them a second chance in a month or so.
Food was good but service was terrible.
Disappointing. Not very Spanish or authentic menu offerings.
Wonderful service, but the challah French toast was a joke- two slivers for $15 and very fried. Sangria was fairly tasteless and we tried 3 of the 4 varieties. Was expecting more from a Spanish restaurant with regard to the sangria.
Food was delicious, service was very attentive. I would eat here again
We've been to Copa several times, so I won't judge by this experience alone, but there was a miscommunication and we were seated without a server. It took a while to get things straightened out, but eventually, we enjoyed a lovely brunch! I will absolutely return.
The service was VERY slow and the food was mediocre. We had been in for lunch a few weeks ago and the service was good and the food was good enough to warrant a return trip. NOT the case this time . Both the lamb and the salmon skewers were over cooked and the chorizo flat bread was tasteless. The sausage used on our previous visit was crumbled and had great taste. This time they were like sliced Vienna sausages from the can!
Food was excellent--and hot!! Service great. With a large party--sampled about six items on the menu--all delicious!
The food was very good - the Copa wings and the Lamb skewers were amazing. The lamb was cooked the way i would expect to see it at an upscale restaurant (medium rare being closer to rare than medium) so be aware of that when ordering. I will say the service was a little slow especially considering we went at a time that wasn't very busy.
- Old Fashioned : my boyfriend ordered some type of old fashioned from the cocktail menu and he loved it.
- Copa Wings : the sauce was so good and different. Almost like a buffalo sauce with a fruity after taste. Definitely recommend!
- Flatbread (Buff-something, sausage) : the cheese and onions on it were good but I didn't find the sausage had much taste. Good portion size though.
- Lamb skewers with saffron rice and garbanzo beans : The lamb was phenomenal, I would definitely get it again. The rice was ok, not the type of rice i was expecting but was still good. The garbanzo beans I didn't find to have much flavor.
The ambiance was cute and fun and very modern. Will definitely try a sangria flight and one of the desserts (they walked buy us delivering them to another table and they looked so good!) next time!
The restaurant was nice and the service was good but the food was not. Maybe with a few adjustments to the menu this will be a great place. For now, just stick to the drinks and apps
The food was great and the server very attentive. It turned out to be a good place for my friends' 18-month-old and four-year-old as well.
