I went two days in a row because on the website and on open table, it was advertises as a bottomless brunch experience. I live for a brunch experience. However I got there Saturday and things were crossed out with a black marker on the menu and there was no bottomless. So I went somewhere else. I was confused I went back and read the site again and I noticed they were having their last brunch the next day. So figured maybe that's what happened. Anyway I reserve a table on open table and it's labeled as a bottomless brunch experience so I reserve my table, drive from PG county again to Copa and the exact same thing is happening. And again I went to another place. False advertising is annoying especially taking that drive for nothing.
Arrived to find that they were out of most menu items and had been for long that they had sharpied the menus. Did not stay to eat.
Sad they are closing
Apparently the restaurant closed its doors
Discovering Copa was marvelous! After a disappointing meal the night before at Ser, this Spanish place 2 blocks away was astoundingly better and much, much more affordable. Each small plate was perfectly prepared & original (no repeating sauces, for example). // Our very kind server was attentive, informative, & quick. Sitting on the patio for lunch on a Saturday afforded fresh air, a great view of the prize winning pedestrian bridge, and excellent people watching! Plus music! They offer specials periodically. Happy hour is one. Oh, the bloody Mary was not , um, watery. // Now that Jaleo in Crystal City has closed, this will be our go to tapas place! I can't wait to try the rest of their dishes!
i went for thier restaurant week special which was an incredible value. the sangria flight was my absolute favorite thing i had. the tapas were surprisingly bland the garlic shrimp tasted of oil but not much garlic. The street taco was one note in terms of flavor and needed acidity.
The food was amazing and for a sports bar their brunch is so good! I love this restaurant and definitely come back every time for the French toast!
Brunch food and service were excellent. Definitely coming back.
This restaurant was fantastic! Servers and host were friendly. The food came out quick. The environment was great. Definitely will return!
Unlimited Tapas Night was wonderful. We were so pleased with all the options- not a bad dish the whole night. Pleasant environment. More traffic/people arrived, it did get noisy, but you can still here your companion. Will definitely visit again!
We came here for a Premier League match and it was a fantastic but very relaxing spot to watch soccer, enjoy sangria and eat some delicious food on a Sunday morning!
It was just ok. Service was good, food was fine, drinks were a little weak for the price.
The food was okay. I have had better tapas in DC. The service was not the best. Very slow and always needed to call the waiter to us rather then them checking on us to make sure we were ok. Kinda tricky to find. It is in the basement area of an outdoor mall.
Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service. Definitely going back for the broken eggs and steak and egg and also the salmon on toasted bread.
Fun experience for our family to try new cuisine. Mango Honey Sangria is definitely a future do-over for drinks when in the area. Our family’s fav dish was the beef empanadas.
Service was seriously lacking. We were sitting over 20 minutes waiting for our server to come to our table after we were sat. This was during the Euro Final and I know staffing post-pandemic has been difficult but we felt like we were constantly having to flag our waiter down throughout our time there. That aside, it had a great vibe, especially when watching the game and the food we ordered was good. I will definitely go back to try it again in the future.
Great place to watch a soccer game. Lot's of large TVs make it easy to see the game from wherever you are sitting. Really enjoyed the Sangria flight. Tapas were good.
Hidden gem in Ballston Quarters, at least for brunch! Tapas style brunch was amazing.
Was a great place! Loved the flights!
Excellent service and a great experience! Would recommend!
One of the best brunches I’ve ever had in the DC area, and I love a bottomless brunch! All of the food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the chef personally brought out our plates. The $3 mimosas, sangria and bloody Mary’s were also great! This is our new brunch spot for sure! We can’t wait to come back for dinner.
Great lunch! Enjoyed the tapas special and sangria
Love the sangria flight and very tasty Paella
This was on my list of places to try for a bit and decided to stop in with my family on Sunday evening. Miguel was our sever and we cannot say enough good things about him! He was kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and helped us order a few great items to include the yucca shareable plate as well as modify to cater to my family’s needs.
We all agreed we will be back because we still have quite a few things to try to include the cocktails.
Always a great time here. The bar area is prefect for watching sports. Great food, serving staff is always very friendly.
Food is very bland. Very disappointed with flavor of most of the tapas offered on brunch menu. Sangria and Mimosas was watered down. No plans to return.
Food was okay, service was miserable. Would not return
Great food, service and prices. Byron is a wonderful server.
Party of 8 and it was special occasion, the waiter was okay just not as attentive.
Tapas were good so was the paella. Not a fan of the sangrias though.
My experience this time was ok. I have been other times and it was great. Understandably they were busy due to a big soccer match on TV, but they might have been under staffed for a busy day. Our server who also appeared to be the bartender did his best to be attentive but it was clear he was overwhelmed taking orders and making drinks at the same time. We had to wait a little while to put in the next couple rounds of food orders (unlimited brunch tapas style). Overall it was still good.
Great service, we came with 2 kids and they were very attentive and even brought hot water to warm up a bottle. Super friendly and fast service, and even better food!
The food was awesome and the service impeccable. For food and service at this level you would think of more upscaled atmosphere, but it is a sports bar I get it. I highly recommend Copa and will come back again and bring my friends!
We are regulars and love this place! Their paella and pulpo tapas are amazing. Their cocktails are also original and for every taste. Servers are always attentive and courteous. We'll keep coming back!
We had a great girls brunch on the patio with the bottomless tapas and $2 drinks. The servers and hostess were so accommodating and attentive! We all had a great time and will definitely be back!
Excellent service and very good food
The restaurant seemed to be very understaffed. We saw our food come out of the kitchen and sit out for about a half hour before the waiter brought it to our table. Good location but poor service.
Amazing food and great atmosphere!
We had a great anniversary dinner outside under the heater on their patio. We thought their Unlimited Tapas special was fantastic. We didn't even get to try all of the tapas, so we'll need to do it again. We've also ordered their paellas to go and they are delicious. Highly recommend
Valentine’s Day brunch. Loved the bottomless tapas!
