This was my forth time at Cooper’s Hawk in Toledo. Each time was just as good as the last! The wine tasting is so much fun! The drunken shrimp appetizer is amazing, even the gluten free version! The braised short rib risotto…Amazing! Our new favorite place!!

Not busy at all when we got there but wanted to seat us way in the baby next to a large table. I said nope. We gave a reservation and I’m not sitting next to a big group. They get all the attention and are so loud.

We were seated in a wedged in 4 person table when there were plenty of intimate 2 person booths (it was our anniversary and we noted that in the reservation). Service was VERY slow. 15 minutes until first contact, took 25 minutes to get water. The last two anniversary dinners we received two truffles for dessert, nothing this time. The food was good, but service was poor.

Had a 6:30 reservation and arrived 10 minutes early. Table wasn’t available until 6:50. Restaurant was very busy but when you know that, management should have been better prepared! Guessing they overbooked and in doing so they caused undue wait time! Reservations should be reservations, if I would had been 15 minutes late they said they could cancel my reservation.

We had a reservation but it still a twenty minute wait. We were given free wine for our wait. The Thanksgiving menu was very tasty and more than I could eat. I was very pleased with our server and the other wait staff.

Turkey dinner was good, big portion. The stuffing was marginal not like Mom made. Not enough gravy and the pretzel bread was burnt. It was busy, but I still think the food delivery was slow.

This was our first visit to Cooper's Hawk. It was Thanksgiving and it did not disappoint! From the service to the food, our visit made Thanksgiving awesome! 2 of our party had the Thanksgiving menu and it was perfect! The other 2 of our party ate off the menu and loved their food. Our server was lovely and the cranberry Sangria was delicious! Highly recommend 👌

I made reservations for my son’s birthday. My husband ordered the fish and the entree came out and tasted like the meal sat under the heat lamp for a while . We felt rushed , the waitress seemed to be in a hurry. It was a Tuesday night , not even a weekend. My son ordered burgers med which came out well . Not sure if it was an off night , but very disappointed.

Great place for our anniversary dinner. They added a special touch with a note on the table for our anniversary. It was a bit loud in the restaurant and our waiter was not the greatest. But the food was outstanding!

A little disappointed with our first experience at Cooper's Hawk in Toledo. I had heard such wonderful things! We were sat right away and graciously greeted. The bread they brought out was literally a pretzel bun with some butter, which turned me off. The ambiance is nice, but the lighting in the main dining room is harsh with the available light fixtures. If softer bulbs were installed or the lights were dimmed, it would feel cozier. The server was lovely. I ordered the surf and turf with parmesan medallions and scallops. The scallops were excellent. The steak medallions were flavorless and a bit dry. Overall it was an okay experience, but I hoped to be "wowed", especially considering the price point.

The visit and experience was disappointing. We arrived 30-35 minutes before our reservation so that we could do our wine tasting. The small area that the tasting took place was packed. We did not get to do our tasting because there was no place to sit and apparently the tasting is guided which is completely unnecessary. We had no clue which wines to order or try during dinner because the menu did not have any tasting notes other than 'bin' numbers for pairing. I have no interest in returning, even though we are wine club members that we received as a gift.

We had four different entrees plus an appetizer and everything was delicious! The noise level was a little too much--maybe a little better acoustics would help. Our waitress, who was a trainee, did a very good job with only one error when checking us out but the trainer was able to fix it. All in all, a wonderful evening and we will certainly return!

Great food, but service was slow. It took an hour after we ordered to receive our food, but it was delicious once it was delivered. If we would’ve known that, we would’ve ordered some appetizers. Otherwise, our server was polite, and our food was delicious.

The drunken shrimp appetizer was excellent. Happy to be able to get it gluten free. Delicious parmesan encrusted Maui Maui. Cosmo and dirty martini were both excellent but a little slow on delivery due to bar staff running behind. Loved the key lime pie. The smores dessert was too sweet for our liking.

Cooper's Hawk offered an excellent variety of high quality and delicious food opptions. The service was impeccable and inviting. I strongly suggest buying a bottle of wine to enjoy the decanter experience. The wine flights, especcially the bubbles, are a nice pairing with dessert options.
