Second time visiting Cooper’s hawk winery and restaurant! Did wine tasting before dinner and it was amazing. Very knowledgeable staff. Meals for dinner were amazing!!! I got ginger glazed salmon and husband got Parmasean crusted mahi mahi! Fish was cooked to perfection. Asian pork belly appetizer was so good! A little pricey but it is a great place to eat for a special night out!

Our first experience at Cooper's Hawk in Toledo was a great experience. Everyone at our table enjoyed the Cooper's Hawk Pinot Noir. My husband and son had the pork chops and said they were outstanding. I ordered the Salmon, which was amazing! Our waitress and servers were very attentive, and our food came out very quickly. We enjoyed a wonderful evening with our family and will dine at Cooper's Hawk again soon.

With our group of 6 4 of us did not enjoy the food. Either too raw when asked to be cooked well done and by time sever came back to Check it was too long and filled up Bread at table Pistachio grouper was extremely salty, skirt steak blue cheese salad meat had a lot of gristle and difficult to chew. I have been here many times and this was a first when did not enjoy the food

We've visited this Cooper's Hawk a number of times and each time we have been impressed. The food is delicious with wonderful flavor combinations, the wine selection is varied and quite good, and although it is a bit pricey, it is well worth the cost. For a nice meal, with good service and wide selection, this is a great go-to. You will not be disappointed. Join the wine club for an even better experience - and don't miss the wine tasting if you are into that sort of thing - a great value.

We LOVED our food. Loved my almond chocolate wine as well but I fortunately our server Robert never came back to ask if we needed refills so I was only able to get one glass. For having a bill of $87.25 before tip, I would have expected not just great, maybe even mediocre service. He came to our table when he took our orders and then never came back til we were completely done with dinner. He asked if we wanted a loaf of bread to go with dinner and we that wasn’t brought out with our food like he said it would be. Maybe we’ll stick to just drinking wine at the sampling counters where the service is good and we will for sure get some.

Food was great, service was great - everything was really nice, however, it was VERY busy and fairly loud. To be fair, it WAS a Saturday night (our party of 2 reservation was for 6:30pm), so I am not sure what I should be expecting. It was a little difficult to hold a conversation with my wife, though, which isn't a fault of the restaurant. We WILL be back though!

A great place for a date night, girls night, birthday dinner ect… The wine was great of course but the food was okay for the price. The service was 10/10 ! Our waitress Lisa was the best hands down. She made us feel so comfortable for our first time in:) I will definitely be back !!

My wife and I ate at Cooper’s for the first time Aug 1st 2023. We became members of the two bottle wine club. Hands down maybe the best food in the area. Fantastic service, great portions and very fair prices. We just came back again September 1st 2023 and we were as happy as the first time. We are making this our monthly date night restaurant and encourage everyone to try it.

Our dining experience in Toledo, OH was outstanding! We have family in Temecula and have visited many wineries in that area. Cooler’s Hawk wine and dinner was a very pleasant surprise to find so close to home! We will be back!

We specifically marked anniversary on our reservation so that we could celebrate. The host staff was great at acknowledging this and even hand wrote us a letter. Our sever however, completely ignored the placard we had stating it was an anniversary celebration and moved on with semi-poor service overall. Normally I wouldn’t be upset, but the table behind us was also celebrating an anniversary and we heard their server offer them champagne and a complimentary dessert. In the grand scheme it isn’t a deal breaker, but my wife was particularly upset that our server blew it off like it didn’t exist. Overall, we like the food and the majority of the staff was great. We simply wish we had a more attentive server who did what they were supposed to. We didn’t even get her name, just a description. She had short blonde hair and wore glasses. She also told a cheesy joke (which would’ve been great had the rest of her service been on par).

Kudos to the kitchen staff, because if it wasn't for the excellent meal we had, we would not be coming back. We made a reservation for indoor standard dining, when we arrived we were asked to sit outside or at a high top in the bar area to avoid a wait. It was a nice night, so we agreed to sit outside but felt a little confused as to why we bothered making a reservation. It was very quiet outside with just a TV on playing a football game. The ambiance wasn't great. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. When the drinks came we ordered our entrees. We were waiting a while for our appetizer when our entrees arrived. We never received the appetizer. When our server dropped off our entrees, she walked away and back inside before we realized we didn't have flatware at the table. So we sat with hot meals with no way to eat them. When drinks and food came out, the servers had to ask around each table to see if it was what they had ordered. Apparently table numbers aren't a thing outside. It just really ruined the mood to listen to servers call out drinks and to have to flag them down to let them know it was yours. At one point we had 6 empty glasses, two bottles, and the empty pretzel bread board sitting at the edge of our table that no one bothered to clear, despite multiple servers passing by and even stopping at our table to drop off drink refills. It was my birthday so we ordered key lime pie for dessert. It was delicious. As we were leaving we overheard a server telling a table nearby that they would get chocolate truffles as a complimentary dessert since they were celebrating a birthday. This wasn't a huge deal since we loved the key lime pie, but it's just the point. The birthday card on our table was nice, but shouldn't everyone be offered the same birthday perk? Again, the food was incredible. It just seemed like the server outside had too many tables to provide good service to anyone, and for a $200 meal it just wasn't up to standard. We were really disappointed.

My husband and I have dined at Coopers Hawk quite often and have NEVER had a bad meal or service. The food is exceptional as are the staff members. I became a member many years ago in Columbus and was thrilled when one opened up in Toledo. I recommend this restaurant highly! The food, wine, atmosphere and staff are all superb!

Had an initial bad experience when they first opened. Bad service, poor quality of food and much too expensive for what it was. Have been back several times now to give it another shot and a nice change all around. Plus the wine tasting makes it a different experience in this area
