    I really enjoyed the experience. I think the food presentation needs some work but everything was tasty. The dress guidelines were a little more casual then I preferred but it was fine.

    First time at CH in AZ. Frequently had business dinners in IL. The staff was very attentive, noting shellfish allergy and our Anniversary. We were take before our reserved time (nice!) and we didn’t feel rushed. (Very Nice!)

    Meals took so long to get to the table... probably we waited like half a hour. the waitress didnt check on us often. no complimently desert or not even offer for birthday... everything was great first time we visited. not this time

    We anticipate our reservations at Cooper Hawk and they have not disappointed. The servers always have a smile and seem to be extremely happy people which adds to the atmosphere. Our cute little server was Justin and Justin was very efficient and accommodating. Our food was excellent and hot when it was served. There were three of us with one celebrating his birthday. He was served a sweet little treat after our dinner. A great time was had by all.

    Even with some miscommunication about the lunch menu, our meal was excellent. The server went over and above to make us happy with our choices. The room was a little noisy by the bar, which is where we were seated for our reservation but when the booth behind us left, it was fine. This is not the first time we’ve been here and we will definitely be back!

    2nd trip here & the kitchen had a bit if an "off" night. Meatball appetizer came out just warm, not hot and the toast served with it had burnt edges. My husband's filet was cooked fairly well (medium rare) however it was heavily seared on the exterior-to the point of messing with the flavor (too much of a charred taste). My pretzel crusted porch chops were not so "crusty" this visit, they were instead soggy on the exterior. I have no idea why as I 1st time I had them, they were absolutely amazing. Still, we will be back. Every establishment is entitled to a rocky night once in a while.

    We enjoyed the food and the sampler glasses of wine were a plus! There are just too many tables way too close to each other in this place. We felt we were intruding on a family’s conversation. Our server was great, but she seemed to have too many tables to serve. We probably will be back and try to get a seat on the right side of the restaurant which seemed a little less congested.

    Every time is a nice experience when we go there. This particular night was a Saturday night. The staff is always polite and helpful. They could have used one or two more people behind the wine tasting counter for as busy as it was. The food and service was great !

    I was disappointed as I had read some reviews of how good it was for others. I would give 2.5 out of 5. Service was my biggest complaint but reservation and seating was bumbled, food and drinks were not timely. Food good but not great. Very loud dining room. Overall experience was disappointing.

    We were seated on the patio which had zero ambience despite making reservations well in advance and having plenty of tables in the restaurant. We have been to other locations and this one was not up to par. The service was great from our waiter and the food was good, but when you go for a birthday, you want a little ambience. We felt like we were sat at the kids table as the patio was filled with families and had absolutely no vibe.

    We love Cooper’s Hawk! Our dinners and lunches there have been excellent. Tonight was exceptional!! We had Filet Mignon, a bottle of our wine club wine, and a birthday desert. Our server, Amber M, was attentive, friendly, and was interested in what we had to say.

    SURPRISE!! Finally, a high end restaurant and NOT a dumb pizza or wing place. (BUT… CH does have great flat bread and their chicken entrees are delicious).

    Wine bar had several patrons and only 3 staff, who were hustling but could not keep up with the volume. Purchase counter was not staffed when we first arrived. We were seated on time, celebrating a 75th birthday. Noise level was awful was difficult to hear over background noise probably due to location of our table. Server was friendly and helpful but had many tables and was not as attentive due to volume. W e love the food, delicious, served hot, excellent.

    Very poor experience and do not recommend. Made a reservation and were seated promptly. The server was friendly but inattentive; we had to request refills multiple times during the meal. One of the meals didn't get served until the rest of the table was almost done eating more than 15 minutes later... No manager came out to apologize, nothing was comped, and no reparations were offered. Our original server didn't even bring the meal or apologize after originally letting us know the meal was running behind. We were unable to get a second or further round of alcohol because the bar was busy and there was a disturbance. And the food that was served was barely warm and clearly been sitting in the window a while. Honestly, this was our first and likely last visit... It had a lot of promise and we were excited but with the poor service we recieved and it at this price point--inexcusible. Do not recommend.

    We had a wonderful experience for our 32nd anniversary. We worked with Geralyn and will ask for her again. The only thing negative that occurred is that our wine was not served with our dinner as there was a back up at the bar. Otherwise everything else was five star. Noise level was up there on the scale. Anyway, Geralyn is our #1 waitress.

    The bar area is a bit noisy for an intimate conversation. The food was very good, but not the best food we have had at a restaurant, especially at this price point. The only thing on this visit that was superb was the Filet tenderloins. Excellent taste and done perfectly. Also, the chocolate cake was just the right amount of chocolate for my wife’s addiction. We would definitely order steaks again at this restaurant. Wine was very good as well.

    Restaurant meals, execution, presentation, and service were excellent. Would highly recommend dining at Cooper's Hawk in Surprise. No issues once seated. However...Upon checking in at the host station, we were informed that we would be seated momentarily. After standing and waiting, we told the hosts that we would be at the wine tasting bar and to let us know when the tables was cleared and ready. Following the wine tasting, and still not hearing from the hosts, we returned to the station and asked if the table was finally ready. The response was that it was indeed ready, and that the hosts were simply waiting for US to come back and ask for our table. No one ever came to the wine bar to inform us that our table was available. This is my fourth visit to the restaurant (with a reservation) where wait time for seating has been an issue. The throngs of people waiting for wine bar service is another chaotic situation that we will review with the wine club management as it is a separate area of the restaurant, bar and lounge area. We will continue to try and frequent the restaurant as the seasonal menus are definitely enjoyed at every visit.

    We thought the Chicken Piccata was not as good as the Cooper Hawke in So.Barrington, Illinois nor the one in Arlington. Hts., Illinois. The chicken was rubbery and the sauce was not very lemony and thin. Our waitress was extremely nice and thoughtful and we filled out wine club application since we used to be members. The experience just was not as good as we hoped for.

    We were so looking forward to our experience there. It was so noisy we had trouble hearing. Tables are way too close together; more patrons but less ambience. Our server was okay, Kareena but the side salads were extremely overpriced at $9.99. I ordered a flight of red wines which were served after... the salad. Really odd. My entree was good (Pork Chops with Pretzel coating) but the kitchen ignored the server who requested no potatoes replaced with a double side of broccolini. My wife had the pistachio coated grouper ordered well done. It came back mushy. The server returned it to the kitchen and a new entree was created which was also mushy. So it was not a good experience. However our server alerted the manager who graciously comped most of our check. On that basis we decided to give them another chance and reserved a booth away from the massive crowds to reduce the amount of noise somewhat. I am happy they are so successful but we prefer ambience when we dine and hope our next visit will go better.

    Went to Cooper’s Hawk after hearing really good things about the restaurant. I have to say I was disappointed. The food was just so so. I had the surf and turf with a pork chop and salmon and both were very salty. My husband had a pasta dish that had very little flavor and the meatballs seemed like they were from Costco. Service was good, ambience is nice although we sat in the bar area and it was super bright. Over all I’d say it’s a 3 at best.

    I had a reservation for 6:15pm on a weekday. Waited about 10 min to be seated. Food was good, nothing special. Service was terrible. The waiter never came around to fill water or ask if needed anything. Waited forever to get the bill once finished eating.

    We celebrated our anniversary and we were treated like royalty. Our server brought us the special wine decanter and surprised us with a fabulous dessert to top off the evening. I totally recommend Cooper's Hawk to all my friends.
