   Mother's Day. Waiter was good but warned us off the bat kitchen was behind by about 15 or so. Was an hour before we got our food. Mother had to send hers back as it wasn't cooked right. Overheard the couple behind us complaining to Assistant GM. Won't go back. Not prepared to go through this again.

   Overall, good for a holiday (Mother's Day). A little slow, but to be (and was) expected. Seemed a bit under-staffed. Our excellent server was busting her butt. Instead of simply walking around, management should have stepped in to assist with clearing tables, checking on guests, etc.

   Having been to Coopers Hawk several times in Illinois, we were eager to give the Surprise location a try. Being Mother's Day, it was very busy and unusually noisy but that did not take away from the experience in this case. Our server was wonderful and so bubbly. She was attentive to our needs giving us plenty of time to eat and relax between courses. The food took a little longer than usual to arrive (It was Mother's Day) but it was so worth the wait. We enjoyed every morsel and indulged in chocolate ganache cake for dessert. Scrumptious is an understatement. We highly recommend visiting Cooper's Hawk. You will not be disappointed.

   My wife and I had dined here on multiple occasions…all positive experiences. So, I made a reservation for Mother’s Day…a special occasion since my son was in town from Seattle to celebrate his mother’s (my wife) special day. We were seated promptly and ordered. Wine, salad and appetizers which arrived shortly…all good. Then everything goes downhill. Entrees never showed up….our server kept coming by to say the kitchen was very busy and asked for our patience. Finally, after an hour, we finally chased down our server to ask about our food. The server was very defensive, saying it was not her fault and she would have a manager come by our table. Manager arrived and was very curt saying the kitchen was backed up. However we noticed that several guests that were seated after us had already received their food. Our food finally arrived over an hour after we ordered. Our waiter and the manager both said the food had just come from the kitchen. All entrees were cold and obviously had been sitting somewhere…not straight from the kitchen as we were told. We managed to eat a portion of the entrees but cold food is not acceptable. Also, by then we were frustrated and ready to leave. The manager comped the meal but not the wine and appetizers. We had a discussion and the manager finally agreed to comp everything. Needless to say, a Mothers Day celebration was ruined and we will never return. We will also pass this experience along to our friends. Now that the complaining is done, I would offer some constructive criticism. This is a situation that could have easily been handled with some basic customer service. After a reasonable wait, our server or the manager should have explained that there was an issue with our order instead of denying responsibility and offering excuses. They should have then offered us something while we waited…more bread, wine, etc. Just common sense for someone in the restaurant business. Thanks for listening.

   We made reservations late yesterday for Mother’s Day. There was only one reservation left at 2:45 and it was on the patio. We worried a bit because it was going to be 100 degrees, but it was absolutely perfect. Between the misters and the shade over us you would never have known it was hot outside. We were told it would be about an hour to get our meals as the kitchen was backed up. so we were surprised when she brought it out less than a half hour later. Always great service and food.

   Outstanding choice for our Mother’s Day celebration. I made a reservation about a month ago using Open Table and thank goodness we did as the restaurant was packed. We waited about 20 minutes for our table. Our server was excellent as was our food. This is great restaurant with great staff and a very good menu. We were able to have a memorable meal and celebrate Mother’s Day.

   Our server was great. The speed of our food coming from the kitchen was absolutely unacceptable and having the managers come by to ask if they could get us anything else doesn’t make up for it. Don’t blame Mother’s Day and don’t say the kitchen is backed up. Plan for it, staff up for it and provide a good memorable dining experience for your guests. We ordered two desserts, Lemon Butter cake and Key Lime Pie. Server comes back after 10 minutes to tell us she’s sorry, they are out. Really? How about telling your server staff so they can let your guest know when they order? Then, it took 20 minutes to get our Key Lime Pie to go.

   Our favorite restaurant. However, we learned early on to not go after 4pm because of the crowds. Now we know not to go to the brunch on Mother’s Day. Took almost an hour to get our order and by then it was cold.

    Had reservation in bar , not available, had too sit in dining area we’re at is way too noisy reservation was at 5:45 didn’t get seated until 615 happen once before
