   Our dinner took quite awhile. Another table that was seated after us got their food before we did. My fish was dry and overcooked. By the time I got a new dinner, my husband was finished eating. The waiter charged us twice for my fish. Thank goodness I caught his mistake on our bill. I felt like we should have been compensated for my meal or at least offered a free dessert. Nothing.

   We received excellent service. Our meal was as always, delicious. I was disappointed when I learned the vivente alcohol removed prosecco will no longer be available. I can only believe that diners on medication or other reasons for abstaining will no longer be able to share in the “ wine” experience of a winery.

   Our waiter Aiden was terrific! Our second time with him as our waiter and he is the best!

   we always visit! However, this go around wasn’t pleasant. We waited over a hour and a half for our food. I asked for my food to be boxed because we had been waiting for so long. When my food arrive, I cut into my steak and it was well done overly cooked DRY after asking it to be medium. Because I had waited already so long I decided to keep the food. I then decided to go to the bar and retrieve my bottles, however it was so busy and unorganized. The woman at the bar just looked at us didn’t even greet us, we ended up not getting the bottles and just leaving. The manager did comp our meal however it’s not about the money but about the service just a little disappointed because i had a long day at work and just wanted great food and wine

   We have been enjoying Coopers Hawk for years, originally in Illinois. We are so happy to have a Coopers Hawk close by now that we live in Rockville. The food is consistently terrific and we love the wine.

   The place was full when we arrived and the noise level deafening. Drinks service was slow, and server apologized for the delay. I ordered the salmon with roasted potato and spinach from the lighter fare menu. The salmon was excellent, but the skimpy portion of potatoes was undercooked for my taste, as was the spinach.  For a place that emphasizes wine tastings, I was surprised at how few types of wine were available by the glass with dinner. The Cabernet Sauvignon that I ordered was fine.

    The food is great but it took forever to get our food. I'm not sure if it was our waiter or a problem with the kitchen.
