   We are members of the wine club and dine here often. Unfortunately, during this visit our food was cold and the service wasn’t to the usual standards. Hoping this trend does not continue.

   We had problems with them honoring our reservation for a booth in the bar. We had reservations for 5:30 and it was 5:45 and still not seated. We were told it would be another 45 mins to get a booth in the bar that we requested. Manager came and said they could seat us in the dining room asap. I didn’t inform her of my frustration and disappointment of them not honoring my request for bar seating. I told them we go to Coopers every other week and 2 times out of 10 we get our request honored. For our inconvenience, she offered us a complimentary appetizer which we accepted. We placed our drink, appetizer, and dinner order all at the same time. Drinks were brought to us in a timely manner. We were done with our first round of martinis and appetizer still wasn’t brought. I flagged down another manager, Andre, who checked on it, and apologized for it taking 25 mins to come out of the kitchen. He offered us a complimentary dessert for waiting. All in all, I’m shocked at how busy it was for 5:30 pm. They made up for the reservation debacle and the long wait for the appetizer by the complimentary items. For that I’m am grateful. We absolutely LOVE the martinis and food at Coopers and that’s what brings us back all the time and that’s why we are part of the wine club. Today was just an oddly busy day that they weren’t prepared for, but made it up to us. Kudos to them!

   Food was good except for the potato’s. They tasted like old baked potato slices thin. Also the broccoli was just a string.

   Love the Life Balance menu…however, the MahiMahi was overcooked this time. Typically, the food is excellent.

   This time, had the corned beef dinner. Very tasty. Pork chops are phenomenal. Love the bread they give you! Server is always friendly and attentive. Cozy, elegant atmosphere.

   We loved the wine, food, atmosphere and service. Kim was our waitress and was a delight. Very professional, attentive, personable and pleasant. Made the whole experience even better. We'll be back!

   Went there on St Patrick’s Day. Had the corned beef and cabbage. It was ok. A special addition to the menu for the holiday. I think I’m happy it’s not on the regular menu since it was just ok. Everything else was as usual excellent.

    Maybe an off night, but staffing levels weren't appropriate and we had a very long wait for everything. Server did his best, but was clearly unable to handle the volume.

    As a member & regular patron of CHW, I feel like my experience on 3/11/23 at their Morton Grove location was finally meeting my expectations, after my last few visits being less than spectacular experiences. I arrived 5min early to my reservation (just past peak dinner hours) and was seated within that 5min. The server was exceptionally pleasant (actually she’s been my server on previous visits) and highly responsive when taking our orders. The food & wine was certainly consistent with the quality I normally expect from CHW -as in being fresh and prepared appropriately. Also the food arrived in the correct order and a timely manner, as opposed to previous visits where unfortunately everything arrived simultaneously after a significant time period. As usual, dessert was exceptional. We had a very pleasant dining experience overall.

    The server was very nice but the service was so very very slow. We were one of only 3 tables in the bar for lunch and there were only 2 of us but it took forever for the meal to come. It was really disappointing. The food was good, but we were there for over an hour which is crazy.

    My chicken was raw on the inside. Returned it asked for a simple pasta. Waited 20 mins then got a gross pasta I did not ask for with mushrooms (which I don’t eat) and chicken and sausage. Ok. Got the bill they charged for the pasta. I asked for it to be removed since my whole party was done eating by the time I got my second plate of food. Manager was rude, said my chicken had a pink hue from the sauce….which was cleanish/brownish. She then said, I will take it off your bill. I’m not going to argue with you, as she proceeded to argue with me, and then said something along the lines of this is not our standard practice. Between that and the waiter that kept giving us weird looks, as we stayed and talked for a little after dinner…..never going back.

    Our server was named Karen. She was really conscientious and sweet. Elevated our experience after we had a rough day at a family funeral. We needed somewhere to rest and relax and this experience was perfect. We enjoy the bar area much quieter than main dinning room, which is like a big hall without windows. Don't care for that design but that's not the staff's fault. The food was all excellent - the pretzel bread was over baked so a bit dry but we didn't ask for extra as we wanted to eat our meals anyway. Service is always good at this location. Karen was a nice person. Thank you!

    This was my second visit in a row where the service was below expected. I think both times the server's were new, but this time the server was so slow. It took 3 hours for us to have dinner on a Sunday night.

    I had dinner with a friend at Cooper's Hawk in Morton Grove, IL. We each had an appetizer, which we both enjoyed, then had delicious dinners with a glass of wine. A very pleasant evening. We will return.
