This was my first time visiting the Coopers Hawk location in Alpharetta, GA, although I’ve been to several others including my local spot in Ashburn, VA. I was really impressed — the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Definitely a great experience here! The chef recommendation of the Sweet & Crunchy Cauliflower was amazing and the chicken piccata never disappoints!

The menu sounded exciting but the food was bland and lacked flavor. The drinks were good but the wait was so long we were unable to order another round. We were not offered a second round until after the entrees arrived. The appetizer eggrolls and potstickers with wontons tasted stale. Would return for the wine, but take it to go and eat elsewhere.

This is a fine restaurant. The hostess greeted us with "Happy Anniversary" (it was our 31st). Our server, Benicka, was a joy to have. We had the meatball appetizer, which caused my wife to change her dinner order to spaghetti and meatballs since the sauce was so good. I had one of the Life Balance menu items, the Grilled Tenderloin Medallions--the tenderloin was cooked perfectly, the broccolini was very tasty and the fingerling/french onion side was unexpected and worthwhile. Overall, this is a nice new addition to the Alpharetta dining scene. It is a bit pricey, but the value is good. The Wine O'Clock menu from 3-5:30 PM M-F looks worthwhile. You can have a few appetizers and a glass of wine each for under $40. But don't sleep on the main menu--this is a scratch kitchen that knows its way around food. Cooper's stays on our list of places to enjoy!

What a turnaround!! Ate here with my son in April and did something I’ve never done before. I wrote a bad review. Within 2 days I heard from Corporate apologizing and asked me to try them again. I was sent two complimentary dinners WITH wine. Used the cards last night and was able to order anything off the menu. Service and food were outstanding. Noise level better. So glad I came back and will return again on my dime!!

I had read the reviews, so I had an idea what to expect on our first visit. Everything I read seemed to be borne out. It was crowded in the tasting room, which you must go through to get anywhere else. It was noisy. We had to wait for the table, despite having a reservation. They had to make sure we knew that we didn't have to wait too long and that it was because servers were not available yet. Wat? They know their numbers, so that was confusing. Our server was nice and helpful. We did have to wait a long time for water. Food was decent. For me, it was a bit cheffed up. I prefer simpler dishes. My husband liked his dish better than I did. It was not terribly expensive. Wines were not special.

This our new "go-to." Food is great and they have a specialty cocktail featuring my favorite: Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey. Service is always top notch.

I seldom leave negative reviews and would have given one star if it weren’t for the appetizer and the cocktails. However, today was an exception for several reasons: 1. The food at Cooper’s Hawk was quite disappointing. The pistachio topping on the grouper was soggy despite being well-seasoned, and the mashed potatoes and broccolini were served cold. 2. The scampi pasta was also cold. The only redeeming aspect was the five shrimp, which were on tasteless, oily pasta. 3. Except for the bread, every entrée served was delivered to the wrong table, which was frustrating as others hovered over our food. 4. Although our server kindly comped our dessert, it was mushy and not up to standard. I noticed the manager apologizing to a few tables, so I suspect we weren't the only ones with this issue. We didn’t want to penalize the server, as it wasn’t his fault so we closed out the tab (tipped our 20%) without complaining. On a positive note, the martinis were exceptional! Cheers to the bartender! 😍

This was our first time to Cooper Hawk, and we will return. It's a large restaurant and every table was full. That should tell you about it's popularity with the locals. But the downside is how loud it is on a weekend. You literally have to yell for the person at your table to hear you. We had dinner at a table, but there was a hustling and bustling crowd in the wine-tasting area. That looked like a lot of fun. The wines were delicious. (We tried three). The food was tasty. My only criticism is it's easy to make food taste good when it's smothered in something. Lay off the sauce. We will go back again -- next time on a week night in hopes it's not so loud.

Our waiter and food were great! Meatballs, Thai Chicken wraps, Short Ribs, and Salmon were all delicious. It was very crowded, fun and lively atmosphere. Only feedback I’d give is other staff like food runners and hostesses need better training. Food runner just dropped plates off without describing different sauces or if we needed anything else.
