   Amazing food and service. Bright and airy. It is stylish and elegantly decorated. Staff very professional and knowledgeable of the wine. Will definitely return. I’m bewildered though why people are disreputable in wearing a tracksuit top. Why is it so difficult to dress appropriately.

    In the car park we were entranced by the yellow autumn leaves of the Elm trees cascading down an old driveway. An amazing hedge surrounds the place. It is a magical place with a strong sense of history. The tour of the former residence of Dame Nellie Melba’s was fascinating. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and benefits from extensive views of the garden. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were so impressed we bought several bottles of wine. A delightful way to spend the day.

    We recommend all the wines at Coombe, especially the Blanc de Blanc. We had the pumpkin entree which was amazing and the barramundi and the cauliflower for mains. the desserts are spectacular especially the Peach Melba.

    Great way to celebrate a belated Mother's Day celebration on a Friday. Genuine lovely and friendly service by all staff, a garden tour first which was a great way to connect with Dame Nellie Melba’s legacy. Followed by a superb 3 course lunch with matching local wine as the autumn leaves fell looking down the 150 or so elm driveway and conifers.

    We had a beautiful lunch for our 21st wedding anniversary, the house wines, food and staff are world class, we had a window seat overlooking the magnificent gardens on a mild sunny day. Honestly Coombe is a hidden gem in the stunning Yarra Valley district, it is an absolute must for those wanting the perfect dining experience.

    Fantastic lunch from start to finish. The service was amazing. Especially we dined with our two toddlers. The waitstaff were so helpful with setting the table up already with the high chair and toddler activity packs which meant that we could relax and enjoy a glass of yummy sparkling from the get go. Wonderful food as usual. Wine absolutely on point but the service and helpfulness of the wait staff will ensure we visit repeatedly. Thank you for a great day.

    We have been there many times with others but Sunday was poor,2 of the deserts were dry and overcooked by a long way, and the size of the fish was probably the smallest I have eaten anywhere. The Sparkling wine was warm which is unusual. It was a busy day
