Located within the restored motor house and historic clock tower and under the helm of Chef Neil Cunningham, our restaurant serves Contemporary Modern Australian a la carte menu options.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. We arrived early and it was no trouble to table us immediately. Staff were very friendly and as for the meal it was delicious. I keep thinking about the slow cook lamb for 2 which we shared. This was accompanied with roasted Jerusalem artichoke which was amazingly yummy. Coombe should suit everyone

Beautiful venue and very helpful staff! The 3-course set menu was great value for money + the wine tasting was super interactive and informative. Will be back for the high tea package. We were just a bit disappointed the gardens weren't open, but understand as the family were onsite

Everything was very upmarket and to our liking, a bit sad that the alcohol removed wines beers and spirits were unavailable and no BYO with corkage with regards to Alcohol removed beverages ,

Exceptional food, wonderful atmosphere and attentive but not intrusive service. A wonderful Mothers’ Day. Ocean trout with Yarra Valley caviar was a particular highlight as was the reinterpretation of Peqch Melba, light and delicious.

Loved the experience. The people were lovely and friendly. I would recommend this for any special occasion. This is also a place which you could easily spend most of the day day - coffee in the morning, guided garden tour, followed by lunch, then wine tasting.

We chose 3 courses all of which were beautifully presented and delighted our taste buds. The slow cooked lamb for two was a stand out, succulent and a very generous serving. The complimentary champagne for our anniversary on arrival was a lovely gesture as too was out window seat. Our waitress was very friendly, efficient and attentive. As locals it wasn't our first visit but it was wonderful to experience such fine dining again. We will continue to recommend Coombe to friends and family.

As always amazing food & great service. We had our 1 year old daughter with us which you can imagine is a challenge to keep her in the highchair & not once we’re we made to feel uncomfortable. Great service & beautiful atmosphere. We got Married at Coombe & love coming back to experience the beautiful vibe this incredible place has to offer.

Took my mum to celebrate her 96th birthday. From the minute we walked in it was fantastic and mum was made to feel incredibly special. The food was exceptional, the service prompt, friendly and fun, the setting was beautiful. A wonderful way to celebrate a special event. Will definitely go again.

This could have been a 5 star review except that the oysters had only been half shucked - tops removed but not released from the shell which made eating them very difficult. The other food was lovely, though a half eggplant and a small brulee for $70 is expensive. The ambience is great if you have a window table and the service attentive.

Unfortunately, the garden tour guide was down with covid, but the fill in guide did his best, but I am sure the experience would be better with someone more knowledgeable. The tea was perfect, and the service too. The scones were a bit disappointing, although we loved the jam. Overall, a good experience, and we would be happy to return again.

Garden tour was excellent, lots of history and information. Lunch was delicious, not a large menu, a nice variety of plates. Staff were excellent, without request a Gluten Free bread roll was delivered and my dessert had a Happy Birthday chocolate sign, very nice. Good attention to detail. One minor - the cups were very chunky and not as nice as l would have expected. It was not cheap but it was delicious.

We had a wonderful lunch at Coombe. Everything about it was faultless. The food was amazing, service friendly and efficient and the tables are spread out so we didn’t feel we we’re sitting too close to others. It wasn’t noisy either which was a nice change. The room itself is beautiful with a lovely outlook. We’ll definitely be back!!

Perfect venue to celebrate our parents birthday. Beautifully presented meals and wine parings were a good idea for me because I had no idea what to choose. We all chose something different to eat and decided we would need to come back to try what each other had. Reasonably priced for the quality of restaurant. Pleasant staff.
