Coombe - The Melba Estate es un establecimiento de origen inigualable que ocupa la antigua casa de Dame Nellie Melba. El restaurente ofrece una experiencia cultural y gastronómica única, con 2,8 hectáreas de jardines impresionantes e instalaciones preciosas, las cocheras restauradas y la torre del reloj. Beautiful setting, excellent menu options, fantastic service. The new Peach Melba was a hit on the table and there were choices to suit all tastes.

The wait staff wasn’t very helpful at all 1. not responsive and not attentive at all - hard to get their attention - forgot our requests 2. Not accommodating - requested to have our 10 pax be seated together but was denied the request. We had pre-booked a table for 4 and a table for 6, as there was no option to book for a table for 10. When we arrived, we were told that we could not push the tables together and the rest of the restaurant (more than half empty) was all booked. We stayed at the restaurant for more than 2 hours and no one else claimed those fully booked tables Yes we were there for more than 2 hours because the wait for the food was extremely long- we waited more than an hour for our food to come. Overall unless you are a retiree and have all the time in the world, I would suggest to stay away.

Delightful Sunday afternoon at Coombe YV. Premium high tea with a beloved friend. The service was fabulous, the location is gorgeous, the food is absolutely delicious and plentiful. The only addition or change I would like to see is 1 x hot item (or maybe 2) on the menu. Lovely afternoon and highly recommended.

Highly recommend the Premium Afternoon Tea. The only thing that would make it 10/10 would have been a hot food option, maybe a petite pie or quiche. Otherwise it was superb.

Food and restaurant service all good. We went on the Art Tour and very much a let down. Group of 12 was too large for some of the small rooms, walk too slow and unsure about the curation of the art - very staged. More suited to old women book club group.
