Unique dishes, great and friendly service. Would recommend 100%!
Fantastic, creative dishes. Incredibly flavorful with unique ingredient choices. Highly recommend the mackerel with sushi rice.
Thank goodness this is not your typical industrial urban restaurant. You feel like you are back in time in an old Mother Goose picture book with the deco drawings on the walls and the atmosphere and ambiance. The food was creative and delicious, the brisket among other things, is not to be missed.
Lovely food, inventive and delicious !! Memorable evening with cocktails to match!
Absolutely amazing experience. The food, a
Delicious, creative plates in a charming small space in North Capitol Hill. The older building features historic wall murals, and the intimacy and quiet buzz of the space make it perfect for a date with an adventurous palate.
The food was absolutely fabulous. Creative and tasty. I would go again in a heartbeat and will tell everyone I know that this is a place worth seeking out.
Our server’s recommendations were spot on. Every one of her suggestions were great. Thanks!!!
Everything was great!!
Great place! The waiter was super attentive. BBQ halibut was delicious!!!
Loved our dinner. All was delicious, perfect. Restaurant staff easy, eager to talk with. Small cozy restaurant... felt like you were in a faraway place. Must have been the space, and interesting ingredients. Looking forward to our next dinner at Cook Weaver.
Cook Weaver is in a beautiful stone building with much history. The Russian story from which the restaurant got its name is depicted in murals on interior walls. Ask the bartender to tell you the story and he might even recite the first verses. The waiter was very friendly and attentive and provided lots of info on the fishes. The meal was unique and delicious. Such an amazing combination of spices and herbs and fresh vegetables and fish and rich meats. We had the dumplings - gotta have them- the pastrami cured trout and the lamb sausage with asparagus salad. All the food was wonderful and those three dishes were more than enough for my hubby and me. Go try this place — it is a gem.
Amazing shareable plates and craft cocktails. Highly recommended.
It's always a delight to eat at Cook Weaver. The chef's attention to detail and innovative use of ingredients makes eating a delicious journey filled with pleasant surprises. And the staff's sincere friendliness is second to none.
Small plates were large and a very good. Could probably get by on five for thee guests. All different and several close to ethereal.
Every dish distinctive and delicious.
The crab seasoning fried chicken was beyond awful.
We really enjoyed ourselves. Food was fun and delicious. Loved our waiter
I have passed this restaurant many times without knowing it was there. We had no expectations when we made our reservation. We were ever so pleasantly surprised. The romantic ambiance, impeccable service, amazing food, and generous portions allowed us to leave the stress of our week behind and connect in the romantic way that you always hope your "date night" will bring.
This somewhat inconspicuous establishment has an array of delectable dishes that are both visually appealing and exhilarating to the gustatory sesnses. Feeling sophisticated yet? You will after savoring a meal at Cook Weaver.
Just the weirdest mix of food ever. Nothing went together on the menu and the individual dishes themselves were poorly executed.
Lovely food and ambiance!
This place is phenomenal, our food was the best food I have had in Seattle in a long time. I have no idea why this place wasn't slammed on a Saturday night. GO NOW.
Fantastic food in a really cool space!
Incredible! Definitely turning into one of our North Capitol Hill staples!. A must try :)
This is hands down my new favorite restaurant in Seattle! I was blown away by every dish, its complexity and perfection. We went here last week and are already thinking of going again. Such a gem!
Everything was great!! The food was excellent, service was perfectly timed, and Zack was very gracious.
This is a beautiful, cozy restaurant with fantastic service and innovative cuisine. Their cocktails are quite interesting and delicious. They describe themselves as "inauthentic eurasion" which is a very apt description. Niles, who served us, but who I believe is also the mixologist, was very gracious and enthusiastic. Be aware that the Happy Hour menu only applies to the bar, which would seat 4-5 at most. The prices and offerings on the HH menu would be worth taking the chance that there would be space for you. We wanted to enjoy the HH, but the seating wouldn't permit. We opted for an early dinner, which was lovely.
Great food, service, and ambience!
Creative and exquisite menu. Highly recommended.
Creative and tasty cuisine. Great atmosphere. Super friendly staff. We will be back!
Nile, frontman and bartender, and Chef Zack are just in rhythm. Great service and food. If you want a little exotic, solid taste, and a great vibe this is your place.
Amazing restaurants, interesting eurasian mix and delicious cocktails and wine. the murals are mideval and beautiful. a place to enjoy everything:service, food, athmosphere an great cocktails.
Very delicious and creative food in a cozy place. So many good flavors to discover. Will gladly come back again. One of our favorite discoveries living here in Capitol Hill the past few years.
Stopped here for an early dinner before a show. The cocktails were fun, the crisp chicken had nice flavor layering, the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.
The food was very exciting and flavorful but it was so rich neither of us could eat it all. We actually left feeling like we'd eaten good food, but hungry, and with leftovers. A strange sensation. Maybe this place is better suited to eat a few bites for fun and not so much to have a meal? Service was excellent and the ambience lovely!
Amazing amazing food!!!
This is a special place w special food. It is a foodie dream - creative, whimsical, delicious - but none of the pretension that usually comes with those words when they’re describing dining out. My dinner club eats at Seattle’s finest every month going on five years. In those years, my Top 3 have been unchanged for the last three. Cook Weaver replaces one of them. From beginning to end, cocktails and service and wine - just an awesome experience. I’ll be back and will be recommending it like crazy.
Second time in your most creative and comfortable space. The menu is inspired, the long preserved decor a gift to our city, our server completely welcoming and knowledgeable. A place I could dine everyday but will restrain and make it a regular spot for special occasions while getting friends to dine with you so I can enjoy vicariously on alternate days. Please don't ever take the pastrami style steelhead off the menu. Perfection.
We went for a friends’ goodbye dinner because he was moving to Europe and combined to celebrate having another friend in-town on tour. It was perfect, the food was delicious, I love that the menu changes (presumably on a seasonal basis) and the variety of ingredients on the menu. Everything was delicious & everyone who works there was super fun & lovely.
