   The service was excellent as always. It was a ladies that lunch experience the only thing that let it down slightly was it was very noisy in the conservatory area at points we struggled to hear our conversation. But this won’t put me off going again because the rest of it was 11/10. Amazing friendly staff well done.

   Polite accommodating staff, nothing too much trouble. Fabulous food, handsome portions. Drinks good value. Lovely surroundings. What more could you ask for

   We visited today for a Sunday lunch as a family of 5. We were seated in the beautiful conservatory area which was heated and lovely and warm. Our orders were taken quickly by a friendly American chap, who was very helpful and attentive. Our roasts were plentiful and we were offered extra veg if needed, we all throughly enjoyed our roast dinner. Puddings were also divine. Really great value for money with great service, we will definitely visit again.

   Great ambience and food was excellent. Waiting staff were attentive and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. We have eaten here on a handful of occasions and always had excellent meals. However- my only disappointment was to see on a Wednesday evening approx 8.30pm, kitchen staff walking through the restaurant whilst diners were eating, carrying large catering tubs of food ( looked like it was going for refrigeration ) and in one journey , a large kitchen waste bin. This wasn’t a one off trip but about 5 trips by kitchen staff. A bit off putting

    Had a lovely Sunday lunch but my husband wanted fish pie! Although very tasty the portion size was very small
