We are regular visitors to Coohill's, but this past visit on a slow Monday night (no events at Pepsi Center) was a step up even for this wonderful establishment. We welcomed my wife's boss from out of town and Trish, Tom, and the whole staff treated us with amazing charm, fun, and attention to detail. Thanks all for again proving how good you can be!

Best restaurant week ever! The value for restaurant week was great! It was the perfect amount of food and each bite was equally delicious. The menu was creative and I will be back for regular dinner service for sure. HIGHLY recommend the oysters!!!

We went during Restaurant Week and found the food and service to be wonderful. It is a warm comfortable atmosphere and we were surprised by what a gourmet experience it was. Everything was excellent. I would recommend it!
The ambiance and decor here at Coohills is amazing, definitely high end and definitely swanky. The food is good however my wife and I felt that all the dishes could've benefited from some salt. The charcuterie plate was a great value and the bread with whipped butter is phenomenal. The service was a bit slow, not enough to complain but enough for me to check my watch and wonder what was going on. It was a bit disheartening to see the table next to us get their entrees the same time we did even though we were seated probably 30 minutes before they were. We were here for restaurant week and I'm not sure if I would go back for the regular menu but Coohills is definitely worth checking out once.
We went to Coohills for Denver resultant week. The crab cake was wonderful! As were the salmon and duck confit. But the chicken schnitzel and short rib were even better.
The bread pudding was the best we have ever had!
This was our second visit to Coohills and the first visit for Denver Restaurant Week. The food was great! I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood dishes that were served (oysters, crab cake, salmon, and market fish). However, the salmon portions were veeeerrry small (three little bites). I'm assuming the portions will be larger when it's not Restaurant Week. The service was very attentive.

My wife and I and our daughter and Son in Law tried Coohills for the 1st time during restaurant week and were very impressed! The food was amazing and the ambiance just as good. Very good service even though the place was very busy! We will be back!!!
We got married here 3 years ago and love to get back. The owners Tom (head chef) and Diane are absolutely delightful and make every experience we have at Coohill’s unforgettable. Bill the GM is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The food & drinks are always divine. Whether you’re considering Coohill’s for a date night or wedding, it’ll be a spectacular experience. Highly recommended!

My all time favorite French restaurant in Denver!! The food is always absolutely amazing and the service is never lacking. Great food, great ambiance, amazing experience.
No mention of regular menu not being served. Only option was bar food, hot olives and cheese pizza... so romantic. Rude service, host was a joke, complete failure of service. I found it partially funny that considering our experience the male owner spent time speaking to everyone in the bar but us. Total waste of money.
Had the Valentines Day tasting menu. The standouts were the Branzino and the Scallops but every course was fantastic. The wine pairing was a must and we discovered a Chardonnay from Santa Barbara that simply blew us away. They even topped off our glass because the next course was taking longer than usual.
Service was top notch. Our server felt like our new best friend by the end of the night. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone else.

This was a Valentine's Day rip-off. $85.00 per person, not including tax and gratuity!! No wonder the place was nearly empty!
We visited Coohills for our date night and we were very impressed by the service and of course the food. Our charcuterie was locally sourced from Fruition Farms and was delicious! We also ordered the lamb shank, Monkfish, and crab cakes and those items did not disappoint. The crab cakes are a must order and the lamb shank was perfectly tender and portioned well. Though pricey, this meal will be well worth it!
We return again and again because Coohills delivers every time. The food is delicious, service is attentive and we always enjoy and appreciate the experience.

3 co workers got the steak and really liked it. My Boss and i got the monk fish, it was recommended by server and sounded good. We were both very underwhelmed. It had zero flavor. I was so sad. I’ve been there several times and loved everything I’ve had.

This restaurant had always come up as one of the recommended places on Open Table so I finally gave it a try as a special end of year dinner with my daughter today , and yes, as I had anticipated, it ended up exceeding my expectation. There are several private booths right by the bar area and the host/hostess sat us in one of them. It was very quiet; I could enjoy my nice/meaningful conversation with my daughter.
We ordered several different small plates instead of ordering two entrees and one of them was spaghetti squash and this was amazing to say the least. Only downside of this restaurant is that they really don’t have a large wine selection (this restaurant is categorized as French so you’d think that they have great French wines but they don’t.) Well it’s my understanding that it hasn’t been long since it’s opened so I hope they improve in this area in the near future. Overall this is a 5 star restaurant to me.
We had a lovely evening at the Chef's table. They made a tasting menu for the four of us and accommodated our dietary requirements, no problem! The service was terrific and we will definitely return.
This was our 3rd time at the restaurant, the location is perfect for the Pepsi center, unfortunately the service has been slow overtime we have been there.... but this was definitely the worst service we have had. It took them an hour and a half for them to get us our dinner at 5:30 at night. The restaurant was not even that busy and we missed tip off!
Based on the caliber of restaurants in Denver, Coohills represents an outdated and out of touch establishment. The food was fine, the space is charming, but the service and value was disappointing. There are dozens of other delicious and dynamic restaurants worth a repeat visit. Sadly, Coohills will never fall into this category.
6 of us ordered the vegetarian dish. Though the waitress told us the base was spaghetti squash, a lump of dry spaghetti was served with a few cut up sweet potatoes and 3 turnips atop the spaghetti. For $21 this idea of a vegetarian dish was absolutely disgusting and an embarrassment to the establishment. One person, who does not eat gluten, only received the squash and the turnips. She reached out to the manager who brought her a dish with the same squash and turnips, some wild rice and 2 mushrooms in a broth. The dish had no seasoning and was only eaten due to hunger. In her case the dish was comped. However, no one should have ever let dishes like this go out. The restaurant had potatoes, lentils, mushrooms and other vegetables they could have used to make an amazing vegetarian dish, however someone with absolutely no creative just lumped stuff on a plate. I have never seen such a poor display of creative or attention in a fine dining restaurant. I never say never to going back, but this was such a poor display we won't ever return.
We went to Coohills before a show at the Pepsi Center. Our server was very attentive and took good care of us, despite the huge crowd.
They had a special menu that night so I don’t know if the food was a good representation of their normal fare. The apps were very good, but I found the entrees bland and over priced.

As usual, it was a great experience to dine at Coohills. We brought a young couple with us. Impeccable service, pretty view of the river, elegant decor. We enjoyed the steak, fish and a scrumptious vegan dish. They kindly let us stay and chat for hours without making us feel pushed. Excellent night out. We will be back.
We had an excellent meal. Service was great and food was even better. Small downfall to the evening was when dessert and after dinner drinks were offered, the server did not tell us how much the Ice wine cost. We got the bill and it was $28 per glass. Next time inform your guest of such a high priced item.
Owners Diane, Tom and son Ethan made a birthday celebration even more special. The food was outstanding; we both enjoyed the Crab Cake, Salad, Filet with Baumaniere Potatoes (Perfection) and the Bread Pudding(Divine....complete with birthday greeting and candle!). Service was impeccable....professional, efficient and gracious. An excellent wine list afforded us the opportunity to select an outstanding bottle of wine to top off the celebration. Merci! Merci!
4 stars is an averaged review for 2 experiences the same night. Came for an earlier after work business event which I would give 5 stars - great appetizers (the best I've had in Denver), attentive and friendly staff, good wine, very pleasant outdoor seating and bar area; stayed for a business dinner with my client which although good (maybe 3.5), was not up to the same level: limited number of entrees only 4 or 5 at the most with some being less than inspired (poached chicken), few salad selections, disappointing dessert, wait staff change mid-way through 7:00 dinner reservation (i.e. peak time) was awkward and not as helpful or friendly as the wait staff for the after-work event
Date had a fly in their old fashioned. Replaced drink and comped. Very limited number of entrees on the menu. Gnocchi was good and so was the crab cake appetizer. Pork belly seemed extra fatty. Friday night over Labor Day weekend was nearly empty.
Superb .. from start to finish ! First time @ Coohills / will not be the last !
Hank did a great job and the way the food was served was truly a superior method obviously attributable to a management which goes the extra mile in training and execution !

My sister and I were in Denver to explore the foodie scene... They were aware of this, including that we were on day 4 and in a walking foodie coma, and they did everything to make our dining experience amazing! We did a seven course tasting, with some custom twists we appreciated, and the only thing that slowed us down was getting too full (which they handled great as well, packing up the main wagyu beef and giving us sorbet before we had to make room for chocolate - and yes... the perfectly textured beef was phenomenal cold, right out of the fridge for breakfast the next morning!) The snails were my favorite, though. I had a moment...there might have been a little tear...it was creamy perfection! I was even very pleasantly surprised that the sommelier took me outside of my comfort zone, with some varietals I don't trend towards, but loved every pairing! Well done everyone!
Impeccable. Our server (I don't recall her name but we were sitting on the patio on friday the 11th of august at the very beginning of dinner service) who got our prosecco, which we didn't even realize till after dinner that it was out 6 month anniversary! The food exceeded all expectations. Props to the chef! Thank you for the wonderful first experience! We will be back soon!
