Inspired by the bounty of the sea, the lush farms and abundant vineyards nearby and the cooking methods of Italy, Convivo is a festive gathering place for locals and visitors alike inside the newly-restored Santa Barbara Inn.
Excellent as always p!
Food was phenomenal！
Pizza was great, however i did find a hair in one of my slices.
First three bottles of wine ordered they were out of, indicating with all three the last bottle was just sold. Had reservations, and was given a table in the middle of the patio in spite of better tables left empty. Did move us without struggle. The next three sets of patrons also refused the middle table. Server, Michael, was ready to go home — we were one of the last tables — dropped the check w/o offering desert. Food was rather unimaginative. However, location spectacular!
This was our third valentines dinner at Convivo. We will be back. Great service, great atmosphere and fabulous food. Thanks for a great experience once again.
Went for a business meeting on Valentines Day evening. I was expecting it to be crazy but it wasn’t. It was busy, with every table filled, but the service was excellent and the kitchen was efficient. I was very impressed and so were the people dining with me.
We had no complaints except for the noise level which made it difficult to have a table conversation. The servers were attentive and the food was excellent.
Great food and lovely atmosphere..it was a nice reunion for us with good friends!
Excellent location, ambiance and food was outstanding! I highly recommend the mixted seafood dish. Desserts phenomenal too!
Wonderful all around! Waiter and food were excellent.
Always love Convivo esp when weather is nice and seating is available on the patio- lovely!
The menu is Mediterranean and their lamb meatballs are divine if you eat lamb. Today we had lunch and our young man server could not have been more responsive or congenial. He made the entire lunch relaxing and sumptuous! Wish I knew his name but he was tall with dark hair and had an accent .
I love Convivo! It is my go to place with friends for Happy Hour! It is the best Happy Hour in Santa Barbara! Great location! Staff remember you after a few visits!
Eclectic menu.Good bar service and drinks. One drawback. No gluten free bread or pastas
Amazing food great ambient and good service definitely coming back again
Atmosphere on the patio is really outstanding, even on an unusually cold evening. Food is innovative and consistently good. Sometimes have to remind Server of earlier requests. Wine menu is good w/plenty of options at "reasonable" price points.
Outstanding and Great wait staff!! Thank you for your patient understanding with a toddler family !!
lovely outdoor room with wonderful views of ocean; inventive, tasty food and friendly service.
House made pasta was good, with a very food tomato sauce. The whole fish was expensive ($65) for two, and poorly deboned and cut. The fish seemed frozen! Poorly prepared. Salads were good. Service was excellent. Very good wine list.
Several dishes were amazing! Brussels sprouts, grilled avocado, beet and burrata salad. It was a late lunch on a Tuesday and was wonderfully quiet.
Food and service were both outstanding; we especially loved the appetizers
We really enjoyed our dinner at Convivo. The staff was awesome and made spot-on recommendations. We will absolutely be back, and bring friends with us.
Everything was perfect, as it always is !
Best of the Best in Santa Barbara==service, ambiance, and view.
The food is beautifully prepared and always extraordinary.
Excellent food, interesting and refreshing menu. The prawn appetizer was outstanding. Wish they would give bread out without having to pay for it.
Great service, beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious!!
The food was over seasoned, very noisy and my wife actually sent hers back which she never does. But the service was outstanding.
The food was very good. The waitress was efficient, but clearly upset that we did not order drinks or dessert.
We went for Christmas dinner, which was a fixed price of $80/person.
The food was delicious (with some quite different flavors) and Stefan, our server, was superb. He had the eye of a hawk when he passed all his tables and made sure the tiniest elements of the meal were just right. It was much more than we normally spend, even for a special dinner, but we were very happy to have been there that night.
It was Christmas dinner so service was hurried and badly paced. Food was good not incredible.
Christmas Dinner: Nothing short of sumptuous, wonderful, and interesting.
Went with two others for dinner on Christmas day. Food was exceptional and service was attentive, friendly and efficient. Ambience was excellent - even in the middle of a hug rainstorm. Pricey, but worth it.
Cucina Italo/ California di qualità,locale molto bello , curato il servizio.
Wonderful setting. Happy hour consists of very innovative food and nice wine selections.
Excellent service, excellent food, nice space and view of the ocean
Exceptionally good food. Every dish was complex and made with the freshest ingredients. I am OBSESSED with the pork belly in the octopus dish. It’s absolutely phenomenal!
Service was perfect. Attentive but not in your face. The lemon tart is scrumptious! The whole experience is 10/10! We will be back!
Nice selection of farm to table type food. Shared raps style. Very enjoyable!
My favorite italian place in town! I love everything on the menu!
Fabulous restaurant. This time our waitress was not good, thus less than perfect score. Alas!
Billy, our server, was terrific. Super nice and enthusiastic. Helpful and patient with our table which had a whole bunch of food allergies and preferences and questions and just general nonsense. As for the food, the potato app:side was amazing. The pasta Bolognese was terrific. We had one of the big share dishes, a whole fish, that was not very exciting but it was a mild white fish so what can you expect. Overall because the service was so good, we all felt pretty good about the meal, but we weren’t that blown away by any dishes. A for effort.
