My wife’s birthday very good time and great waitress Kellie food and crabs were excellent.
Great crabs! Maybe the best ever. Worth the drive! Friendly atmosphere and service!
Crabs are always good; they were expensive, but I think that's everywhere. Our waitress was decent. Never feel rushed there. It's about 30 minutes from my house - I don't mind the drive. I don't know if I would go there for anything but crabs. Except, maybe the dessert. OMG. They are beautiful and yummy.
Food was fantastic!! Service awesome!! Definitely going back!!
Fantastic food selections. This was a perfect choice for two college friends for over fifty years and our spouses. We get together every three months with the choice of where to dine by the location where each couple lives. We scouted out restaurants in the Perry Hall area several weeks before. We visited Conrad’s and liked the menu selections, in fact, there was a special with veal chops which my wife ordered. It was fantastic and at a seafood restaurant. The chef/owner came to our table and asked how my wife liked the veal chops as he said he was experimenting with his Fall menu. We said it was awesome. So, we came back with our friends who happen to be real foodies and they loved the choices and thought food was delicious.
Had the Monday night, Steamer Pot special.
Excellent with friendly efficient service.
Quality of food and service has definitely declined since I last dined there six months ago. We were there for a birthday , party of 10 and the server was non attentive, non engaged and just not a good experience.
I will not be returning .
Food was good but I wasn’t wowed. Service was just ok. We had to ask for menus. It was a little pricey but I expect that for seafood. Probably won’t return
Food was excellent our server was great. Drinks were good was not to loud
Great meal and service. I have to eat gluten and dairy free and they were very accommodating. I got the snow crab legs with no seasoning or butter. They were great. Waitress was very friendly. Good service. Restaurant was very clean.
Crab cake special for $13 was moist and contained lumps of crab and was served hot! However, curly fries (up charge of $2) were string fries and were barely warm! Recommend the crab cake, but not the "curly/string" fries!
I love going to Conrad's. I was disappointed this last go around because they ran out of crabs!!
My wife and I went there food crabs and had an awesome experience. We’ll definitely be back again.
Rated Conrad's a 4 because the crabs were outstanding--very meaty, excellent sweet flavor, and not overpowered by the Old Bay and salt. The appetizers were a mixed bag. Clams on half shell were extremely small to the point that you could hardly taste them. Crab dip over the pretzel on the other hand was quite good. Waitress left us alone for long stretches and drink orders took forever to come to the table.
This place was recommended to me for its steamed crabs and I will do that too. The crabs were great! We ordered the extra large and they were big, heavy, and perfectly seasoned. Tables around us were ordering mussels and other meals and everything looked tasty. I don't live in Baltimore but will certain return to Conrad's the next time I want seafood.
The Conrad Salad and Caesar Salads were delicious. The crabs were cooked a little hard, but otherwise good. French fries were not hot. Atmosphere was noticeably nice.
My waitress was fantastic. She was attentive to our needs, as well as, her other tables. She routinely made sure we had full drinks. The only complaint was the live band was very loud. I would not have been able to hold a conversation at our table. We were able to move upstairs without any problems.
Based on how Conrad’s came to be, their history, it was a pretty good bet our first time experience would be worth the drive from Cecil County. Having lived in and around Baltimore and up & down the east coast 52 yrs now I must say never have crab eating, & the taste of, been more enjoyable. Their operation is completely invested in the overall satisfaction of each customer. And the displayed pastries were very inviting as we made our way to the front door. Yum!
The crabs were amazing!
Our waiter --Matt was pretty attentive....but no reference was given to the birthday person at the table
Consistently a good dining experience!
Our favorite place for steamed crabs. This time we tried other menu items as well. Havana black rice was delicious, as were the rock fish bites, although the portion seemed a little small for$10. Our waitress was friendly and super accommodating. Nothing but good things to say. Again.
Consistently good. Delicious crabs.
We had dinner there to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. The service was very good. The food was great - crabcakes, bacon scallops appetizer, crab fries - were all excellent. The power went out for about 20 minutes and we still got our food within a good window of time. The only downside is the lack of parking but they do have free valet parking.
Still do not understand why this place is so busy - crabs are normally good but I have never had a good experience with the food (eat-in or carryout). The burger was terrible - wings were ok but can not do much wrong with fried food. If you want crabs I would go to MR Bills!
Went for steamed crabs and we were very satisfied. Also had 3 appetizers and they were excellent. The service was truly outstanding
Service and atmosphere were great. We've been going to this restaurant since it opened for business. Never have gotten a bad crab. Well worth the price.
Everything, once again, was wonderful. Second time here and truly enjoyed. I will be back again and again.
When i REALLY want good crabs. This is the spot.. every crab is full and delicios. Always.. great service, great food
This is our second visit to Conrad’s for steamed crabs. Best I’ve ever eaten! Heavy and full and nicely seasoned. And since you always need dessert after eating crabs, they have a great selection!
This was my first visit to Conrad's after receiving dozens of Facebook ads from them. I was really excited about finally being able to dine there and had high hopes. I ordered the shrimp po' boy sub. It was literally one step away from being burnt. The batter on the shrimp was dark brown, the shrimp inside were overcooked and dry, and the bread was so stale that it fell apart when I bit into it! I should have sent it back, but I get worried about what the kitchen staff will do to my food if I send it back with a complaint! My guest had a shrimp salad sandwich and said her bread was stale as well. The shrimp salad itself was ok, but could have definitely been fresher. The only thing good about this place was the staff. We were seated right away (we had a reservation) and our waiter was a nice guy. I will not, however, be returning, and will block their ads on Facebook!
Good local seafood with plenty of choices for the non seafood lover. It was the beginning of restaurant week when we visited so the menu had lots to offer that was creative and healthy.
Way too loud and difficult to hold a conversation. Server had a hard time getting our order right because it was so loud. They should consider some noise canceling panels in the ceiling.
Good prices. Nice atmosphere. Great crabs and shrimp. Service was very good. No complaints at all.
Our main reason for the visit was to have steamed crabs. Crabs were very good overall.
Excellent heavy steamed crabs, wonderful crab soups (Maryland and Cream), prompt accurate service.
Locally, Conrad's is the best restaurant for quality steamed crabs.
Everything we had was wonderful. Extremely reasonable prices and the portions were incredible. Highly recommend.
Our service was excellent and the crabs were some of the best we ever had. My only complaint is the restaurant is too loud/noisy.
We ate in the main dining room and it was a little too loud to have a normal conversation when we first got there. We love their food, so next time, I’ll request the side dining area. Food presentation is beautiful, and the waitstaff is always friendly.
Always great crabs at reasonable price per dozen. Make sure you have them steam you an ear of corn with your crabs!
